My friend and I got a great deal on Groupon and this place had great reviews on Yelp so we decided to give this place a go! We called in advance to make appointments for the both of us for a Wednesday morning. Initially this place was a little hard to find because it was one of many stores inside a building but we eventually found our way. The place was small but it was very clean and I felt comfortable being there. I didn't catch the name of the lady who did my lashes but she was extremely gentle and made sure that I was comfortable as she proceeded with the lashes. The entire experience took roughly an hour and it was so relaxing that I even dozed off for a bit! I got the mink lashes, sexy, j13. I was extremely satisfied with the results and can't wait to be back!

I did my first eyelash extension with WinkWink three week ago. It was very natural. I got a lot of compliments. They staff was very patient answering all my questions. Highly recommended.

This is my first time ever getting eyelash extensions. A lot of the women in my family have eyelash extensions and they've been trying to convince me to get it for a while so I finally caved and said why not. Onto Yelp I went, since I recently moved to New York and searching eyelash extensions on Yelp you can tell how overwhelmed I became at the results that I got. There's a salon on almost every corner here in Queens, lol. So I narrowed down to a few based on reviews, wink wink was one of the three that I had bookmarked and kept in mind. Saturday night I finally made the decision that I was coming to wink wink, it was pretty late, around 11 ish I sent them a message through yelp, they replied in about five minutes, we chatted for a bit and I asked for an opening the next day. They had 1:30 open, so I booked my appointment. When I got there I was greeted right away, the lady asked if I spoke Mandarin or Korean I said neither just English, lol. They are good at accommodating their customers, I never felt like there was a language barrier. Michelle was the nice lady who took care of me when I went in. She did all the explaining it the beginning telling me the difference silk and mink, prices, length and what type of curl. I chose the $60 silk lashes because they are softer for my liking and I didn't want to go all out with the $80 soft silk yet because I didn't know how I would like eyelash extensions since this is my first time. Michelle then told me to go lay down and she started right away, I went laid down at 1:38 and I didn't get done until 2:40 so that to me I know she took all the time she needed and I love the results of my lashes. Afterwards she told me the after care directions for it too. I love this place, very welcoming and kind workers and yes it is super relaxing too, a lady next to me getting hers done fell asleep, and I think even her friend who came to stay with her not getting her lashes done was just really relaxed by the atmosphere and fell asleep on one of the beds too. Lol. I would definitely come back when it's time. I will update on how durable and length it stays on when the time comes. If you are thinking about getting lashes though I do recommend this place.

I purchased a voucher from Groupon and upon arrival, the lady who handled me told me Groupon only covers mink, if I wanted silk it would be an additional $20 and if I wanted real mink it would be an additional $40. I settled with silk, natural C12. The hour long process was relaxing, no irritation. However, the moment I opened my eyes, my eyes started burning like crazy. The lady held the fan near my eyes to relieve the burning sensation. The lashes came out natural and I guess because of my eye shape, the lashes at the inner corner of my eyes aren't apparent (only the rear shows). When I went to pay, the lady said since I got silk, that'll be an additional $25 (?!) I remember the yelp reviews said it being additional $20 and she mentioned it in the beginning saying it was an additional $20. It wasn't a big deal so I didn't point it out at that time. I just found it quite odd. In total including the tips, the price came out to be around $100. Fast forward to the next morning after I got my lashes done, I got a pink eye. My eyes were super bloodshotted and it hurts every time I blink or move my eyeballs. The redness and the pain persists til now (day5).

5 weeks after first retouch. Eyelids are red from season allergies.

After 5 weeks, after my first retouch, my lashes still look great. It's hard to find a place that does an amazing job. The staffs are all nice people. I would recommend to anyone who wants their lashes done properly. Whatever questions I had, they had the info.

Small cute place

I came here because of their 50% off deal and I was happy with the results. The place is very small and quiet with soothing music playing in the background. It was hard to find the store at first because it's hidden upstairs amongst multiple shops but I'm glad I found my way there! I will be back for my touch up next week! I got the silk lashes with a natural look and I'm writing this review a week after I got them to really get a feel for them. The only thing I didn't like was that the longer pieces started falling out sooner than usual and it left awkward empty spaces in my eyelashes. I loved how they looked on the 2nd and 3rd day, but after that it was hard to maintain the shape and even consistency even though I brush them atleast twice a day.

Second time coming here and I have nothing bad to say. ~~They check your body temperature with the thermometer when you come in.

My friend recommend me wink wink eyelash. I was there 4 weeks ago . The lashes are stay well. And the price is reasonable. I love my lashes

It was my first time getting extensions and I had a wonderful experience! My extensions lasted about 5 weeks. It was very easy to book an appointment and I was seen on-time. The process took about 1.5 hours. Chloe recommended silk extensions since I told her that I wanted a "natural" over "dramatic" look. Friends and family noticed my extensions immediately and I received a ton of compliments. Lash extensions did take some getting used to because they felt heavy when wet. It also freaked me out a little when they fell off and it hurt to get it stuck in your eye! --I'd totally get them all over again though. Haha

Those who are "in the know" usually wait for the more senior/experienced technician if they have a preference. I usually don't mind using whichever person is available next. I really don't need to go as often anymore since I've gotten older. So there is an expression: fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Once before I went in for brow tinting a few weeks before my daughter's wedding. Came out way too dark, and it was pretty shocking for my personal taste, but I am pretty fair, and it did fade over time so it wasn't as dramatic but it took a long time to fade. Well I went again. I did specifically say not too dark several times. I get it, and in their defense, you can't cover grays with a light color. However - between the shaping and tinting, I now look like 2 separate caterpillars have molted over my eye sockets. Just a warning - if you have fair eyebrows, proceed with caution (or don't) do tinting here.

She was very attentive and thorough with my skin. She explained step by step what she was doing to my face and I appreciated that. The basic facial was $40 - which included face cleansing, face steaming, black head removal, face massage with a serum, mini shoulder/head massage, face mask (not sure what type of mask, but smelled like charcoal/clay), and a heated pad for your eyes whilst doing your face mask. I learned that removing blackheads/extraction is quite different from one another. At New Hope, the basic facial includes black head removal, not a intense extraction (which was what I was expecting since this was included in my previous facial experiences). If you wanted a more intense extraction to remove any forming pimples/dirt under pores, this will cost more, which may be worth it since Cici seems very knowledge in working with individuals who has acne issues. If you're looking for a fancy/clean/quiet/peaceful ambiance, this is not the place for you. They do not have individual rooms, all the facial beds were separated by a fabric room divider, you can hear everything - from other clients talking, to someone walking into the salon. I didn't mind the noise but I wished it was more quiet. For $40, you get what you pay for. And Cici is amazing!!!! I do hope that she one day can open a larger beauty salon that offers a more peaceful environment for her future clients. But nonetheless, not too shabby for a last minute find.

I'm not one to seek out beauty salons (maybe I should more often), but this was a very good place to visit.
