The only one stop shop you'll ever need. Mia the owner is a really nice lady. I came here to do my Brazilian wax, 5/5 and eyebrow waxed 5/5. Her place feels homey and has the important basics. Most importantly, she wears gloves, very detailed on every last strand possible and changes the paper sheet on the bed too! I've been doing waxing all my life but always found it painful. But Mia was painless and I guess the waxer I've never met and has changed my waxing experience. Don't worry Groupon ladies, she gives the same price as on Groupon. With the great deal she gets, if bought with Groupon, she barely gets any. Same prices even without Groupon. $20- 1 wax $55- 3 wax sessions $5 - eyebrow wax $50- for eyelash extensions (next on my list!) read more

AMAZING service and INCREDIBLY CHEEEEEAP. One person operation, so appointment is a must. Text the number and ask for availability - I reached out asking if she was available and she told me to come right in! She was SO detail oriented for my gel manicure and it was SO COST EFFECTIVE!!! She legit spent an hour making sure my nails looked amazing. I then asked if she could do a last minute Brazilian and she got to work!! Amazing service!!!! Would highly recommend!!! read more

Annie and Brandon's ridiculous 1 star review prompted this spiel. Your time is absolutely in no way more important than this business owners. Your 1 star review is unfounded. You're bitter because she wouldn't let you make an appointment as you clearly cancelled on her twice, last minute, per your own review! She shouldn't have even let you make that second appointment! Be respectful of small business owners, especially during this tough time. You're obviously mad because the quality and price of this place are exceptional and unfortunately you won't be able to experience that again. Really a pity. Anyway- my actual review: I come here for waxing. I actually live in Boston but visit my sister in Bayside often and this place is amazing so it's my go-to. I get a no frills painless brazilian wax. She is super fast, she does an immaculate job and the price is beyond reasonable. Just text her what you want and a time and she is flexible. She fit me in once at 6:30pm no problem. Just show up for your scheduled appointment time and don't cancel last minute and all will be good! See you Monday! :) read more

I always come here for a Brazilian wax. Place is clean and by appointment only. The owner is really nice and I never get ingrown hairs or strays. I've paid twice what I pay here at european wax center last time when she was closed and I had strays, ingrown hairs and blackheads! The owner used to do nails as well but because of covid she cut down on services. I would recommend this place for a Brazilian wax at the crazy cheap price of $25!! read more

Things happen and i called to let her know 30 minutes before I have to cancel and i was sincerely sorry to her. this was before covid. Also for being a loyal customer who canceled twice out of the many times I go to her like at least over ten times and i referred my friends over 2 years. . I did not leave any bad review when she CANCELED my appointment or never responds in the past is FACTS. She never updates her hours and multiple times her customers show up and her store is not open. Like i pay for parking to go there to her and it's not open. I only left this review because of how she handled our situation. SHE ROBBED ME by not making an appointment with me or giving me a refund. It's fine if she don't want to see me anymore but don't take my prepaid service and hang up on me or at least communicate with me what we can do. To hang up on the phone when i was talking nicely with her, Making a customer cry over a phone call. She can do her business better maybe include a cancellation policy instead of making a customer feel so wrongfully treatEd. You guys can have nice experiences. Tell Yelp. But I'm going to be honest with my experience. I'm glad she is nice to you. Enjoy. I will not be recommending this place after my experience. It's funny to see my name and people actually calling Me out. Nice to see customers having her back. I would too. I used to say she was so kind like a Korean mom but I'm just being honest with my experience and leaving a review. I do not need other yelpers to CALL ME ENTITLED and talk shit about my boyfriend and I. Fuck off. read more

$25 for a Brazilian Wax is a crazy good deal. She's quick, thorough, and makes the experience as pain-free as possible. I'm not sure how anyone can leave a bad review. I've been coming to Bell Beauty Bar for over 4 years now after leaving European wax center and their over the top pricing. I couldn't be happier! I found this deal on Groupon for $25 (full Brazilian) and she honored that price there forward. I even buy package deals for full Brazilians ($50 for 3 waxes) literally unheard of!! The owner always responds to my texts and is rarely ever unavailable at the time I request. I will always support her. You're in and out in 15 mins tops. read more

After tons of trial and error with different nail salons, I'm happy to say that I've finally found the one!! I wish I found this place and Mia sooner because she's really nice and good at what she does. I got a powder gel mani with coffin nails & a gel pedi for $50 before tips and it came out looking great. She also removed my previous gel at no extra charge. I love that it's appointment-only so it's not crowded and loud. The interior is clean and comfortable plus she does many other services including Brazilian waxing for $20 which is a deal impossible to beat. read more

Let me start off by saying the price of this place for the service is unbeatable. I got a full length of eyelash extensions for about $50 excluding tip of course. She didn't charge any extra for removing my old minks. Mia filled my eyes very well and it lasted me for more than two weeks. I will say that I like a more natural usually and it felt I a little heavier than the regular mink. But overall she was very sweet and accommodating. This place has established for over a year! I called in to make an appointment for a Gel Manicure. They attended me right away. Is on the 2nd floor. Tiny space where they do all types of spa (facial, massage, mani pedi etc) Jane is super friendly and neat. Her English is not fluently but we were able to have a casual conversation while she was servicing me. 30 minutes later she finished my Gel Manicure and showed me with her new UV machine that takes only 30 seconds per hand to quickdry it. Less painful too! So far my Gel Manicured lasted more than 2 weeks and i got so many compliments. I recommend you to try this place out plus the price is SUPER REASONABLE. $20 i payed them cash. read more

Bell Beauty Bar is the best waxing place in NYC! I came here to get a Brazilian wax ($20) and a lower leg wax ($15 with Brazilian wax/$20 individually) to get ready for the summer apparel/beach. The place is cozy and Ms. Kim (aka Mia) was super quick and professional. I've been to more than a dozen waxing centers in Manhattan and Queens, and I'm happy to say that BBB provided the best waxing experience with the best price. Ms. Kim pushed the waxed part of the skin gently down and remained still for longer time than other technicians to ease the pain. She asked me periodically if I'm feeling okay and used a tweezer to get every last hair. Since she has over 10 years of experience, she was efficient and yet knew which direction and how fast she should take off the wax strips. It's been almost two weeks and I barely have any hair on the waxed body parts. I'll be back, Ms. Kim read more

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in this area! While this wasn't my first time waxing, Mia is very good at what she does and the waxing was almost painless and very quick but meticulous. My eyes are very uncomfortable. I am going to the other stores and I am going to remove them. Went here on a Groupon and wanted to get my lashes done. I was their first appointment that morning and no one else showed up the whole time I was there. Did not get to choose lashes and did my lashes super quick less than hour for both sides. I feel so bad now!!!!!!!!!!! Super sparse, barely noticeable, and the lashes we're placed on in all directions. I have some lashes pointing up !The some pointing down, some pointing left, and some seriously straight pointing up touching the eye lid. I never go back !!Bad experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Not sure how this place got 5 stars. Hmm. It's some lady that runs it out of her apartment or something, so she closes whenever she feels like it. I walked up, tried to open the door. No answer. I called and she said "I'm off early today" , this was a few hours before their posted closing times. Posted next to coupons encouraging passerbys to walk in. Sometimes you can't make an appointment and plan ahead to get your nails done. Sometimes it's a relief that your neighborhood nail salon stays open till 10pm. Unless they just open and close whenever they want. Hmm. read more

She did such an amazing job I got continuous compliments even 2 weeks later. She is a delight to work with, very easy going, understanding and accommodating. If you're in the Queens, Flushing and Bayside area, this should be your go-to spot. I read a lot of yelp reviews beforehand and felt confident to choose a spot that had the best pricing and comfort. Lo and behold, I went to Bell Beauty Bar yesterday and had the best Brazilian experience and...it's 20 dollars, which is the best deal you can get for the high quality service. Ms. Kim made me feel very comfortable and presses down immediately to ease the pain. Honestly out of all the wax parlors I've been to, I felt the least pain with Ms. Kim and I will definitely be a regular here from now on. She also added in additional waxing even though it wasn't scheduled. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR A WAX! read more

I never write reviews but this place deserves another 5 star one. The lady who runs this place is by appointment only but her hours are so flexible that it makes is so worth it. I've been to a few different places to get a Brazilian and that includes a legit place run by Brazilians but I decided to give this place a go when I was looking for a cheaper alternative than to driving all the way to Astoria. I was not disappointed! I have to say this has to be the easiest, least painful waxing I had ever received, it was like she almost wasn't pulling. Very clean and cute shop. Sigh, I hate having to update with a lower rating, especially since I had a nice experience before,…read morebut it wouldn't be right if I didn't honestly share what happened. I came in tonight for a Brow cleanup, and held my lid skin taut like we're always asked to do. I didn't recognize the technician, younger lady, at this visit. I felt like her pressure on my skin was a bit rough, but I figured she was grabbing the lighter hairs and did what she needed to do. She soon asked about a bump on my left lid. I told her that it was (ironically) a scar from a threading gone bad... that I was nicked (at a different business), left with a scab, and that scar was the result. She kept asking if/insisting it was a pimple or blackhead. Let's pause for reaction here:: In all my life, I've never seen a pimple grow on a eyelid (at least never on mine... is that even possible?). Regardless, this scar that I lived through was most definitely from a prior unsuccessful threading incident. It wasn't until I emerged from the chair and looked in the mirror I realized I HAD BEEN NICKED! I asked calmly what happened, as I felt a mild sting (but was kinda used to that sting we get right after threading). She blamed me, for I was pulling too hard, and she clipped the "pimple". (For the record, the last time I was nicked like that, I was blamed for letting go, and my eyelid wasn't taut enough to glide over.) Had she simply apologized, or even acknowledged the slip, I would've let it be. Nope, she tried to gaslight me into thinking it was my fault for tugging "too hard", and insisting my scar was a pimple. Folks, whether the surface of your eyelids are smooth as eggs or bumpy like a moon surface, a good threading technician should be able to adjust their pull, swipe, and pressure adequately, or at the very least GIVE YOU CUES to keep your skin safe from harm. Regardless, I leave the photographic evidence posted. #NoFilter. Stars kept for decent shaping, no wait, and observance of covid safety precautions. Price is now $10.

I recently went back to Asha Beauty Salon for eyebrow threading, my first visit in eight years, and…read moreI had such a great experience. The woman who did my brows was fast, professional, and very thorough. I don't have very full or dark eyebrows, so I like a more natural look, and she definitely kept that natural look for me. I love how they came out. After my appointment, she gave me helpful information about all the services the salon offers, including a full list with prices. They also have a points system where the more you spend, the more points you earn toward discounts, which is a really nice bonus. Overall, I am so happy I came back after all these years. She was friendly, informative, and clearly cares about her clients. I will definitely be returning and recommend Asha Beauty Salon to anyone looking for a clean, professional, and thorough eyebrow threading experience.

I don't even understand why she was threading so low on my chin because that's not where my hair grows. I didn't notice the cuts until I got back to my car. On top of that, there was still hair left on my chin and lip that wasn't even removed. Definitely won't be going back. I can't recommend this place.

She didn't wear gloves or sanitize her hands before either. My nails were uneven and the paint job wasn't great, smudged in places. I may have high standards but most nail salons I've been to have autoclaves and sterilize their cuticle nippers etc between clients!

We went 3pm on Memorial day and we only had a slight wait. Solomon took care my my daughter's nails and Lisa did mine. My daughter picked one of the Cat Eye Magnetic Gel Polish design and was notified it was an additional $10.00. She opted out.. For the pedicures, they do use disposable liners. My nails came out beautiful and love the quick massage they do on your shoulders while your nails are drying. My daughter also liked her manicure even without the extra magnetic line design.

She explained that the customer ahead of me initially wanted a mani-pedi th4m decided she wanted a facial. I couldn't fault her for that but appreciate that she told me and again kept apologizing. Because they were now running late because of that customer, the owne did my feet. I swear, her hands were lightning because in 15 minutes she was done and even fit in a under feet scrub, leg scrub and a massage which felt amazing. Then, Mary did my gel nails and she was very sweet and very thorough. She also gave me a back and neck massage which I needed more than I realized. Decor is less than desirable and dilapidated but hey, it's clean, they do a good job and they're really nice unlike a lot of other spits I've been to. I also witnessed a customer who received a pedi who came back after she put shoes in and ruined it and they fixed it for her FOR FREE even though the customer insisted on paying -- now THAT'S customer service. Recommend getting the 10 day OPI polish, it's only $2 more and your pedi will last that kich longer. Park on the side streets if you can but beware streets are narrow and busy. Also, if you come with boys, send them next door to the barber shop while you get your nails did. Robert and his brother are amazing.
