The only one stop shop you'll ever need. Mia the owner is a really nice lady. I came here to do my Brazilian wax, 5/5 and eyebrow waxed 5/5. Her place feels homey and has the important basics. Most importantly, she wears gloves, very detailed on every last strand possible and changes the paper sheet on the bed too! I've been doing waxing all my life but always found it painful. But Mia was painless and I guess the waxer I've never met and has changed my waxing experience. Don't worry Groupon ladies, she gives the same price as on Groupon. With the great deal she gets, if bought with Groupon, she barely gets any. AMAZING service and INCREDIBLY CHEEEEEAP. One person operation, so appointment is a must. Text the number and ask for availability - I reached out asking if she was available and she told me to come right in! She was SO detail oriented for my gel manicure and it was SO COST EFFECTIVE!!! Annie and Brandon's ridiculous 1 star review prompted this spiel. Your time is absolutely in no way more important than this business owners. Your 1 star review is unfounded. You're bitter because she wouldn't let you make an appointment as you clearly cancelled on her twice, last minute, per your own review! She shouldn't have even let you make that second appointment! Be respectful of small business owners, especially during this tough time. You're obviously mad because the quality and price of this place are exceptional and unfortunately you won't be able to experience that again. Really a pity. Anyway- my actual review: I come here for waxing. I actually live in Boston but visit my sister in Bayside often and this place is amazing so it's my go-to. I get a no frills painless brazilian wax. She is super fast, she does an immaculate job and the price is beyond reasonable. Just text her what you want and a time and she is flexible. She fit me in once at 6:30pm no problem. I always come here for a Brazilian wax. Place is clean and by appointment only. The owner is really nice and I never get ingrown hairs or strays. I've paid twice what I pay here at european wax center last time when she was closed and I had strays, ingrown hairs and blackheads! The owner used to do nails as well but because of covid she cut down on services. I would recommend this place for a Brazilian wax at the crazy cheap price of $25!! read more

Things happen and i called to let her know 30 minutes before I have to cancel and i was sincerely sorry to her. this was before covid. Also for being a loyal customer who canceled twice out of the many times I go to her like at least over ten times and i referred my friends over 2 years. . I did not leave any bad review when she CANCELED my appointment or never responds in the past is FACTS. She never updates her hours and multiple times her customers show up and her store is not open. Like i pay for parking to go there to her and it's not open. I only left this review because of how she handled our situation. SHE ROBBED ME by not making an appointment with me or giving me a refund. It's fine if she don't want to see me anymore but don't take my prepaid service and hang up on me or at least communicate with me what we can do. To hang up on the phone when i was talking nicely with her, Making a customer cry over a phone call. She can do her business better maybe include a cancellation policy instead of making a customer feel so wrongfully treatEd. You guys can have nice experiences. Tell Yelp. I'm not sure how anyone can leave a bad review. I've been coming to Bell Beauty Bar for over 4 years now after leaving European wax center and their over the top pricing. I couldn't be happier! I found this deal on Groupon for $25 (full Brazilian) and she honored that price there forward. I even buy package deals for full Brazilians ($50 for 3 waxes) literally unheard of!! The owner always responds to my texts and is rarely ever unavailable at the time I request. I will always support her. You're in and out in 15 mins tops. read more

After tons of trial and error with different nail salons, I'm happy to say that I've finally found the one!! I wish I found this place and Mia sooner because she's really nice and good at what she does. I got a powder gel mani with coffin nails & a gel pedi for $50 before tips and it came out looking great. She also removed my previous gel at no extra charge. I love that it's appointment-only so it's not crowded and loud. The interior is clean and comfortable plus she does many other services including Brazilian waxing for $20 which is a deal impossible to beat. read more

Let me start off by saying the price of this place for the service is unbeatable. I got a full length of eyelash extensions for about $50 excluding tip of course. She didn't charge any extra for removing my old minks. Mia filled my eyes very well and it lasted me for more than two weeks. This place has established for over a year! I called in to make an appointment for a Gel Manicure. They attended me right away. Is on the 2nd floor. Tiny space where they do all types of spa (facial, massage, mani pedi etc) Jane is super friendly and neat. Her English is not fluently but we were able to have a casual conversation while she was servicing me. 30 minutes later she finished my Gel Manicure and showed me with her new UV machine that takes only 30 seconds per hand to quickdry it. Less painful too! So far my Gel Manicured lasted more than 2 weeks and i got so many compliments. I recommend you to try this place out plus the price is SUPER REASONABLE. $20 i payed them cash. read more

I have been going to Mia for about 5-6 months. I have never had any disappointments with her, I get compliments on my lashes every single time! She is also very accommodating with hours. Prior to her I went somewhere else and had a lot of discomfort when washing my eyes/burning sensation. This is my personal experience and I have referred various family members/ friends as well. Bell Beauty Bar is the best waxing place in NYC! I came here to get a Brazilian wax ($20) and a lower leg wax ($15 with Brazilian wax/$20 individually) to get ready for the summer apparel/beach. The place is cozy and Ms. Kim (aka Mia) was super quick and professional. I've been to more than a dozen waxing centers in Manhattan and Queens, and I'm happy to say that BBB provided the best waxing experience with the best price. Ms. Kim pushed the waxed part of the skin gently down and remained still for longer time than other technicians to ease the pain. She asked me periodically if I'm feeling okay and used a tweezer to get every last hair. Since she has over 10 years of experience, she was efficient and yet knew which direction and how fast she should take off the wax strips. My eyes are very uncomfortable. I am going to the other stores and I am going to remove them. Went here on a Groupon and wanted to get my lashes done. I was their first appointment that morning and no one else showed up the whole time I was there. Did not get to choose lashes and did my lashes super quick less than hour for both sides. I feel so bad now!!!!!!!!!!! Super sparse, barely noticeable, and the lashes we're placed on in all directions. I have some lashes pointing up !The some pointing down, some pointing left, and some seriously straight pointing up touching the eye lid. Best experience ever. Got a Brazilian wax with Ms. Kim and even though I was late to my appointment, she was extremely understanding and did an outstanding job. She was efficient and super gentle. She was very very thorough!! Loved my experience here. Will always be coming back for my wax. I've yet to try to other various services such as nails and lashes which are also reasonably priced. Found this hidden gem on Groupon and haven't stop going. The place is run by one person and is a very small space but I love it because it's convenient and she replies back right away regarding an appointment. Not sure how this place got 5 stars. Hmm. It's some lady that runs it out of her apartment or something, so she closes whenever she feels like it. I walked up, tried to open the door. No answer. I called and she said "I'm off early today" , this was a few hours before their posted closing times. Posted next to coupons encouraging passerbys to walk in. Sometimes you can't make an appointment and plan ahead to get your nails done. Sometimes it's a relief that your neighborhood nail salon stays open till 10pm. Unless they just open and close whenever they want. Hmm. read more

I love Kim's work. I never fall asleep during lash extensions because I'm nervous when someone is working so close to my eyes but I fell asleep the whole time because she was so gentle and I barely felt a thing. She did such an amazing job I got continuous compliments even 2 weeks later. She is a delight to work with, very easy going, understanding and accommodating. She even noticed I felt chilly and gave me a blanket without me having to say a word. The little things Kim did during my appointment really impressed me and has made me a loyal customer. If you're in the Queens, Flushing and Bayside area, this should be your go-to spot. I read a lot of yelp reviews beforehand and felt confident to choose a spot that had the best pricing and comfort. Lo and behold, I went to Bell Beauty Bar yesterday and had the best Brazilian experience and...it's 20 dollars, which is the best deal you can get for the high quality service. Ms. Kim made me feel very comfortable and presses down immediately to ease the pain. Honestly out of all the wax parlors I've been to, I felt the least pain with Ms. Kim and I will definitely be a regular here from now on. You should really make an appointment when you come. I got a Brazilian wax here for $20 (not including tip) and it was one of the best I've gotten. She doesn't double dip or repeatedly use the same strip of paper and she sanitized with alcohol after. For the price - you can't beat it. read more

I never write reviews but this place deserves another 5 star one. The lady who runs this place is by appointment only but her hours are so flexible that it makes is so worth it. I've been to a few different places to get a Brazilian and that includes a legit place run by Brazilians but I decided to give this place a go when I was looking for a cheaper alternative than to driving all the way to Astoria. I was not disappointed! I have to say this has to be the easiest, least painful waxing I had ever received, it was like she almost wasn't pulling. Very clean and cute shop.
