I came in at 6pm for gel x extensions and cat eye and left at 7:30 which is 30 minutes past closing. Linda worked on my nails and she's great. My nail beds are smaller so some gel would spill over and she cleaned it up and filed my nails perfectly to fit my hands. The products used are of top quality with polishes from korea/china/japan and the space is very clean. The price came out to $120 which is worth it for the quality of service and products. My nails are more on the expensive side because I got extensions and cat eye on each nail. The owner Grace is very accommodating and a pleasure to talk to.

So yes -- my standards are high. Out of all the salons in the area, I chose this one specifically because they use Japanese gel polish, which was a huge green flag for me. From the moment I sat down, I knew I made the right choice. Linda was absolutely amazing -- precise, meticulous, and clearly skilled at what she does. My nails came out flawless, and the hand massage was such a nice bonus (chef's kiss). You can really tell when someone takes pride in their craft. I already pre-booked my next two appointments, which says everything. Safe to say I've officially found my new nail home. Highly recommend!

After reading some reviews, I decided to stop by and treat myself. I'm SO happy I found this place!! I came here twice - once for a gel manicure ($35) + regular pedicure ($25), and once for a gel manicure only. Both times, I made appointments 1-2 days in advance, and was greeted immediately upon arrival. The salon is clean and there is enough distancing between clients. I was so impressed by the staff - they're friendly, and the whole manicure is fast but done extremely well. My friend and I were in and out of the salon in less than 45 minutes. Gel manis usually only last ~2 weeks for me, but for both of my manis here, they lasted at least a good 3 weeks. I wish I took pictures of my nails! If you pay with cash over $80, you can also add a free 10 minute massage. I HIGHLY recommend the massages here. It was so relaxing, and they make sure to fully massage out your knots even when the timer goes past 10 minutes. Will definitely be back in the future!

Made an appt two weeks in advance only to show up and have her in the middle of someone else's nails. I wait (way past my appt time) only to be told she just booked the appt but it won't be her. Perhaps if they hadn't accommodated a last minute walk in I would have been seen on time? You get nothing here for being a semi regular. Adding insult to injury I sit down with whoever they assign only to have my technician and the one who I had booked chat and giggle in Korean with the woman next to me. I was invisible. I am all for NY's multiple and beautiful languages being trilingual myself but what was clearly communicated to me despite the language barrier was that I was not welcome and no one needs that. Not the holiday spirit and not the place for me.

But the tech that did my pedicure barely filed down the ridges on my toe nails. So you can see bumps on the toe polish. I showed her what nails I wanted which were an almond shape french tip but I had to ask her to fix the shape on almost every nail. She attempted to paint my nails but left visible streaks so I asked if she can fix it before painting more nails. She swapped techs midway so I feel bad for the other customer. The other customer even voiced out why switch midway. The new tech maybe the manager or owner who attempted to do french tips but left me with uneven lines, uneven product build, and air bubbles. Each nail is a different white line thickness. I voiced out can she fix it. The new tech just said, "that's the best I can do... everyone's nails are different... you're paying with groupon so what do you expect" Inside I was furious! Just because I used a groupon, does that mean I'll get a different result than a non-groupon customer? I tried to remain cool by tipping her well and thanked her and left. I will never return here. I never felt so ashamed for using groupon in my life. I should have saved the $60-$70 I spent here to go somewhere else that actually knows how to do french tips.

When we got there the owner kept on trying to tell us to get powder or gel x we repeatedly said we wanted uv gel if she could do it she said yes. The owner is the only one who can do uv gel and this wasn't discussed on the call but she waited till we are there to say I have to wait till she's done with my sister so she can start me. So what's the point of making an appointment? I value her time so I show up on time but clearly she doesn't value her customers time. Once she was done with my sister she started mine. Since the beginning I knew she didn't know what she was doing cause the technique was awful. I told her don't even bother finish my nails just finish filling them cause respectfully they look horrible . She kept trying to tell me they didn't but they did. I was going to pay for a uv gel service and she applied the uv gel but since she didn't know how to apply it she ended up filling all and I was just left with a coat of the gel nail polish on my nails. Really terrible experience. Don't waste your customers time if you can't do a service don't force it.

I can only speak for the basic mani and pedi's, as I haven't done any of their higher end services. Basic pedicure is only $22 (I paid in cash, YMMV if you pay with card). This local salon is no frills, and not fancy. Pedicure massage chairs are a little worn, as is the furniture, and some of the polishes look like they should be removed or refreshed, but that could also speak to their loyalty customer base in the neighborhood that continues to come in. I'd give it an honest 3.5 Stars, but the technician I had was very meticulous, and gave me a bonus shoulder massage for a few minutes after I got to the dryer. Just a warning, there's no cell signal in the back of the nail salon, where the pedicure chairs are. They also don't offer wifi.
