Make sure to call to secure a spot, as they can easily get booked! The place is cash only, with tax if you Venmo/Zelle. The place was very chill, with the nail techs chatting with each other throughout my experience while they casually work their magic. I got the Gel Manicure ($40). They started off asking me to pick a color from a selection of books. Then the nail tech asked what shape I wanted, and began filing, shaping, and trimming my cuticles. Note to self and other nail newbies that nails need to grow out super long if you want square gel nails, to prevent the gel from touching your skin. The process was overall very relaxing, and fascinating for me to see the amount of care the lady puts into perfecting my nails. The process took around 1 hour 30 minutes, and even with my first time nails, the lady was chill and accommodated with patience, tips, and skill in making the gel manicure work on my short nails. Both my friend and I were very satisfied. My friend had the Regular Manicure ($15) and she noted how they added a finishing nail enamel spray, which other places don't do. Extremely Disappointed After 2+ Years of Loyalty -- Very Money-Hungry Business That Doesn't Value Customers My sister and I have been loyal, consistent clients at this salon for over two years. Sadly, our recent experience has shown that they care more about money than treating their customers with basic respect and professionalism. I sent a deposit to secure an appointment, clearly expecting it to go toward the booking. At no point did I say it was a tip. The owner had previously canceled on me last minute, and I was understanding. Instead of asking for a refund, I chose to reschedule. When rescheduling, I was told a time with no clarification of AM or PM. Since I asked for the earliest slot, I assumed AM. I traveled from Brooklyn to Queens early in the morning and waited 45 minutes without a single response to my texts or calls. Hours later, I was finally told to come back. Frustrated but still loyal, I canceled other plans and returned--only to be offered a free manicure to make up for the mix-up. That day, my Uber costs alone were over $100--more than the cost of the service. Given all the inconvenience, I chose not to leave a tip, which is well within my rights as tipping is optional. I usually always tip, but not after that experience. Later, I was refused service completely--because I wanted to apply the deposit I had already sent toward a new appointment rather than let them keep it as a tip. I always get their gel Manis as they really do last 3weeks plus without chips or dents! Call and book in advance if you want your nails done for specific events. You'll have to send them pic of the nail design ahead of time so that they know how much time to allocate for you and can quote you a price. Base price of gel is separate (nail designs vary per finger/design and how complicated it is). I'm personally afraid of the drill because I got burned a few times from careless nail techs and I mentioned it and my nail tech was really nice about it and assured me I'll be okay. Also found when I went in that 2 of the colors in my manicure weren't available, even though I'd texted the design when booking the night before. This manicurist in question was in store looking at the design I picked. The subbed colors changed the look drastically. In addition I was questioning the color of one nail halfway through the nail design (one that I picked, but only after she refused to do my first 2 choices) - and she flat out refused to change it (which would have been a quick fix, just a solid color). I'm waking up this morning and really still hate the color she wouldn't change. She kept saying she didn't like it - but frankly? Who cares if you like it, it's on my nails for the next month. $225 after 20% tip is as much as I expect to pay any nail artist that listen to my requests. I appreciate she does care about the design and wants to make it look good in her opinion, but my taste is my taste. My nails are my nails. I was a bit late finding parking and it seemed she was a bit irritated I was late because when I walked in, it wasn't the earliest greeting you typically get and she didn't even say hi. From the minute I step into the salon to when I left, everyone was so friendly and sweet. The prepping of my nails took almost 45 minutes and the painting took another 30-45 minutes. If you do decide to come here, I would set about 2 hours for everything. The pricing wasn't insane either, but the quality really is amazing. The polish is also high quality. this is the most amazing nail salon i have ever been to. i ended up changing my design from what i texted prior to my appointment and even though my new design was much more complicated and took more time than was originally booked for me they accommodated the switch with grace. i really appreciate them doing so, they absolutely did not have to. the girl who did my nails (i didn't get her name but she was amazing!!) spent over an hour gluing on stars and moons on. she took painstaking care to replicate the photo i brought in and when she was done it literally looked like she copied and pasted the picture onto my nails. she even, and i am not exaggerating, spent like thirty minutes adding layer after layer of sheer color via sponge to create a flawless, seamless gradient. she was so gentle when she filed and buffed my nails and she even compared my nail lengths on both hands to make sure they were even. the price is really good for the time and care they take, my friend (used to be a manager for several big australian influencers so definitely experienced in the beauty stratosphere) couldn't believe the price and quality when she saw a photo. i will definitely be returning! read more

I called and told the lady on the phone "I hate my nails, please fix them." She told me "okay" I mean if that doesn't sound like a problem to you then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe your employee chose to leave that fact out but I made it clear I was unhappy. I also requested a different nail technician because my nails were rushed and yet again the lady who answered the phone told me "okay" she didn't ask what nail technician I wanted, or tell me the name of my original technician. I wouldn't have minded the shape, if the nail itself weren't so bad. When I went to get them fixed 3, of the nails had to be taken off because they were so badly chipped on the sides. I went there because of convenience, this was the best place I could find in flushing. If I didn't live so close then I definitely wouldn't have gone back. The next time I went to get my nails fixed and the same technician came up to me to fix my nails I was pretty annoyed, but there's only 4ppl that work there so I wasn't going to wait an hour to 2 hours for someone else to do my nails. It's not my job to keep track of who does my nails. I noticed with regular nails, and a regular coat of color they came out good. The nail art the last time I went wasn't bad. It just bothered me so much months after that I had to write a review. I've been here once before, and it was great. Grace (?) was accommodating and gave me what I wanted but the second time around I got a new guy. I hate to bash on an new guy but because he had 0 guidance his work was far from mediocre. See photos attached. This lasted 4 days, and they are uv gel nails (which lasts at minimum 2 weeks). The avg nail tech would do a base, 2 coats of the color of your choice -maybe even a 3rd coat- but, I kid you not, this dude gave me 5 coats on 1 nail and 3 on another, and 4 on the next. At one point I think he forgot which one he did. Nonetheless, it was around 8pm, so I didn't want to be that person and point out any oddities or imperfections - but it still does not explain the "technique" used or lack thereof. In addition, I had a gf go in that same day and ask for a simple marble nail and was quoted/charged $8 per finger. I was told it was $10 for the same thing. Meh, inconsistent information was given. Let me just say that I won't give up on this place, and do still recommend it (for now), but I wouldn't recommend going to this guy I described (though he was nice). I literally spent $70 on gel nails and a pedicure that was just alright, for it to last 4 days - And i did not even do anything strenuous those days. When I reference the young, new guy (who has microbladed eyebrows and brown/golden dyed hair), I am not talking about the owner Eddie (?). To be clear, my nails lasted 4 days, not cause they chipped off, but because it started to lift off my nail bed, and my hair kept getting caught!!!!! Normally, gel would chip or recede, and you'd be required to acetone those things off, but nope. In this rare case, they all just came off my nails like I was using water based, peelable nail polish for kids. read more

I'm going to have to drop it down 1 star based on my last visit. The salon now requires that you make a deposit of $20 in order to make an appointment which I was at first hesitant about, but acquiesced to because of the level of service and attention they offered all the other times I came here. This time, I was looking to do a regular gel mani for my wedding in 2 days. I did not get Grace or Eddie, but some other woman I haven't seen before. I showed her a photo from Pinterest of a sheer pink color and asked if she could choose the polish color for me based on that, but she instead asked me to look at the color spectrum as they had several different pinks; yes, I was aware which is why I showed her the photo, but hey, I'm not one to be pushy so I ended up picking a color on my own. Grace also stepped in to help me choose a color, as they were out of the color I ended up picking. What they are losing a star on is that the woman cut off a decent chunk of skin below my cuticle on my thumb. It was bad (and hurt a lot) when it first happened, but I didn't realize how bad it would actually get. Again, this was 2 days before my wedding and 5 days later, it still hurts! After the thumb incident, she was filing my pinky nail so aggressively that she made my skin bleed there (just a little bit) as well! I think she just needs to be more careful moving forward. She did make it up by offering me a $5 discount, and I appreciated that gesture. Anywho, this place still has nice designs and Grace and Eddie are good at what they do which is why I'm leaving it at 4 stars. If I ever come back here, I'd be sure to request one of them. read more
