I was recommended this place by a friend, had a bit of difficulty finding it at first as it's pretty small and the sign doesn't stand out much. The nail section of the salon is right in front when you go in, however. (there is a section in the back for hair.) We were immediately welcomed in the salon and sat down right away. I showed the lady behind the plexiglass a reference photo for the nails I wanted only twice, and she captured it perfectly. They don't make much conversation with customers and only speak Mandarin I believe, but understand some English. I paid $30 for a gel set before I left for vacation, which is a great price. It took about 30-40 minutes to do, and it was all very neat and quick. It's been about 4 days and they've been hard and sturdy since I've left the salon, no scratches or bubbles anywhere. I'm very pleased with my experience and will definitely come back, it's a great place to go especially if you're on a budget or in a hurry.

This nail salon was a bit difficult to find because it's part of a hair salon, and I was in a rush to get my nails done before I went into the city. Honestly, CC Nails is a really solid choice. It's a no frills salon and they exclusively speak Mandarin, but their prices are so good and they did a really good job with my nails too. My nail technician was efficient but detailed, and I loved the final color and look. I paid $30 including tip, and that's almost unheard of anywhere else. Try them out! Bring cash if you can because that's their preferred method of payment.

The entrance looked suspicious but when I asked to get my nails and feet done as a walk in I was assisted right away. Even though there was a language barrier my nail tech understood the assignment and did exactly what i asked. I definitely will be coming back!!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. If you want some design on your nails, I would highly recommend this place. The daughter is very very skillful. And the price is affordable. Just to make sure you bring the cash.

Although it may be true this mother-daughter pair may not really sanitize the equipments properly (I don't really know), the daughter did an exceptional job with my nail art. Upon being referred to by a friend, I chose this location to get my nails done for the first time ever in my life at a nail salon. I showed her the designs I wanted and she meticulously did it without hesitation and as far as I know, there were no mistakes. I am in love with my nails. It's been 5 days and my designs are still perfectly in tact. Highly highly recommend this place if you don't mind a little dirt under your nails (ha, pun intended). Now I spoke mandarin, so I'm unsure if you can clearly communicate what you're looking for to the shop owners, but I'm sure if you showed them a picture of what you're looking for, they can for sure do it no problem. I paid $55 for multiple different designs on each nail, which I believe is a steal! Come check this place out! Also, I attached a photo of the original designs by my favorite song artist's nails and she used that as her reference.

The mother is adorably talkative and the daughter is very focused on doing her best work--will definitely come back. I used two colors for the gel manicure ($25) and am thoroughly pleased with the entire experience and results. They speak very very little English, so you should definitely converse with them in Chinese. Bring a picture if you have an exact design in mind. They also do not accept card, so definitely bring enough cash.

It's a no bs kinda place. I've been to them 3 times and I can finally say their work is consistent. My review is based on time, quality and price. A gel manicure is done in 45 mins (gel polish removal as well). My gel nails lasted two weeks without chipping or peeling. If it's not for them growing out I think I can go longer. Now the price is $25!!! The Ombré which they do so well is Honestly, the first time I visited I did not enjoy a bit. It felt rushed and I was sorta stressed when she taps my fingers to move it the way she wants them. It felt more like me trying to complete a task instead of enjoying the mani. But after It was done and I saw how great they look on top of the disappointment I got from that other place I went to hoping for some relax mani, I realized that my expectations and needs have changed.

Discovered this place when I was searching for a affordable but also good nail place and this is definitely it!! I got some extensions and its amazing how strong they are holding on. First picture is when I first got them done and second picture was today; after I prepared a huge dinner with lobster, steak, and anything you can possibly do to ruin your nails but they stayed completely intact! My nails were only $40+ and I gave a $5 tip. My nail girl did it the way exactly I wanted it to be, although I reshaped my thumb a little bit after cause it was too long. But I Will definitely be coming back to this place! Its affordable and has great skills. Environment isnt fancy but that's not super important.

Well this is THE place if you want a quick + affordable mani during the weekend WITHOUT prior appointment in Flushing. I decided to come here after not being able to get an appointment at other salons that I usually go to (Mg Nail/ Arete). This place is inside a hair salon fyi if you get lost like me (The store front sells masks and gloves?). Anyways the lady who does my nail doesn't speak much English but that's not a problem for me at all. All I gotta do is show her a pic of the nail color/ style I want, choose the color on the board that she shows me and answer if I want to cut or file my nail. My gel manicure without design + removal of previous gel mani is $25. OMG. Compare to all the other nail salons in Flushing, this is NOTHING. She was meticulous and focused too throughout the process. She doesn't really make conversation but that's okay because I was watching Peaky Blinders the whole time I was there. The only problem I have is that this place is not the most organized and she sometimes literally left me and deal with the business in the front. However I still end up with a neatly done set of gel mani within only 45 minutes! With all that said I will still come back if I ever needed a quick and efficient gel mani.

Gel and deign for $50 extensions are extra $15 charge.

I freaking love my nails! The ladies working there are super nice and we're super honest when it came to getting extended nails or not. Most places will try to make you get extensions so they can make more off you but they made sure I got what suited me the most! I showed them the design I wanted and they did EXACTLY what I show them. I'm in love with this place and it's cheap too! The only downside about this place is that it seems like they don't sanitize their equipments properly :/

I came here again recently. I got a regular pedi. It felt rushed although there wasn't anyone waiting. The mother who was cutting my nails/cuticle cut a part of my skin which started to bleed. The daughter mentioned it as she was painting and the mother didn't care at all. My nails started chipping 1 week later. The experience felt more like a come get it done and get out. It wasn't enjoyable, although saving a few dollars as it is the cheapest I've found around the area. read more

The nails were good, but they told us they could accommodate 3 people at once when we walked in, and we saw that there were only two seats for manicures, so we started to leave. But the owner/manager begged us to stay, saying they would grab another person to do two of us at a time, and have one person get their gel removed/cure their nails on the side. So we agreed to stay. In the middle of my friend getting her nails done, the nail person walked off and started someone else's pedicure. When I asked why she left, someone said that she wasn't able to do gel manicures. This confused me because they said they could accommodate 3 people at once. This made us have to wait an extra 30 minutes. We would've gone somewhere else if we had known read more

Not your typical sit down and enjoy yourself type of nail establishment. This is a small Chinese mother daughter nail place at the front of a barber shop. The skill of the daughter here is impeccable. She is able to paint so gracefully and perfectly- and for $20 for a solid gel color ($25 for design) getting your nails done here is basically a steal! If you don't mind the cramped space, definitely try getting gel here! read more

I went early this morning at 9am for a gel mani and was out the door 35 min later. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into doing your nails. The shape and workmanship is great! I'd only take off half a star if I could since there is quite a language barrier. Even with pictures, she didn't quite understand what I was asking for, but the end result is still very nice and the price can't be beat! I will def return for basic designs and maybe she will learn more as time goes on! read more

This is a mother and daughter nail salon. The daughter is the one usually doing your nails and the mother helps out. (Basically one person doing your nails) There are many colors to choose from. The prices are pretty affordable. $20 for a gel manicure and extra $5 for designs. $8 for a regular manicure and $16 for a pedicure. Service is attentive and if you show them a picture and they aren't able to do it, they will tell you. Instead of taking your money and doing a half ass job. I will defiantly be back. PS- CASH ONLY! And they speak a minimal amount of English. read more

I just got a pedicure from here for $15. Very cheap compared to other nail salons. This place felt unsanitary. The pedicure chairs had no cushion and looked extremely dirty. My feet was placed on this paper towel and she used that same paper towel to wipe down my legs and feet. When she scrubbed off the dead skin on the bottom of my foot with a pumice foot scrubber, she tossed it right back into the water where my feet were... however, she shaped my toe nails and applied the polish on nicely. The lady did get the job done but my experience here was quite uncomfortable due to the setting and the lack of cleanliness of this place. read more

A no frills spot to get a cheap but well done manicure. The daughter does a thorough job and has good technique. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, there was one person ahead of me but didn't wait too long. My gel mani came to $30 (before tip)...can't beat that. read more

This is a great place to get your nails done for a low price in Flushing. The place is run by a mother daughter duo who were very helpful and good at their job. The daughter does the actual nail painting while the mother preps and cleans your nails. My friend and I walked in without an appointment and were seen immediately. It was a spur of the moment thing and we didn't have a design in mind but they helped us pick out a color and design. The manicure I got was 35 dollars pre-tip and I'm very happy with the results. They do speak mostly Chinese and chatted with us as they did our nails. Would definitely go back again! read more

I came back again today to get my nails done. I showed her a picture and she made my nails from shabby to perfect. She really takes her time to make sure everything is done in perfection and is so gentle on my nails. She doesn't scratch, tug, make me bleed like some other nail salons I've been to. I honestly feel like she is better than most nail salons that I've ever been to. Highly highly recommend. For the nail design I got today- it was only $25. Went in less then 24hrs & my nail broke..... very unsanitary!!!!! Paid 80$ for my nails to not even make it through one night !!!! They made my nail very thin & weak !!! The nails look nice but clear wasn't done correctly!!! & the worst part NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH... which is very bad in a MIXED COMMUNITY!!!! read more

First time here and I love this place ~~ yea its not fancy like a regular nail salon BUT the lady is really good at what she does ~ It's a mother and daughter business. The daughter did my gel manicure and she took her time , to make my nails look beautiful I tried making small conversation with her but she didn't really answer back but that's okay haha I really don't mind ~~ it was probably because of the language barrier, but she was really sweet overall. She has a soft touch as well, which made my experience even more relaxing. Plus gel manicure are $20 ~~ so good ^^ read more

A small salon run by mother and daughter. Their manicure and pedicure quality is truly amazing. Two tips: 1. you will definitely get the best of their services if you can speak some Chinese; 2. like some of the comments mentioned, it may not be your place if you are used to the chic and bright nail salons in Manhattan. CC nails sanitizes everything they use, although the tools look like they've been used for some time. If these are no problems to you, I would for sure recommend you getting your nails done here. I have come to them several times and always satisfied by their services. read more

1st the $20 job manacure is only available Monday through Thursday. I got there on Friday and they charged me $25. They only accept cash which I found out after my service. It was cold and the service was really bad. Ill see how long my nails will last. read more

I liked the service last time here so I came back. However it turned out to be a big disappointment today. I was in a good mood until this gel manicure ruined it. I picked a color but they run out of gel so the first layer was so light and uneven. I couldn't accept it so they let me choose another color, I tried 2 colors on my 2 fingers and picked one. I can feel the importance after. The girl rushed it and the IV light hurts a lot. The gel is not applied all the way to the side and chipped every where. Honestly I can do better at home. Considering what they charge for the services, I really can't complain. It's my go to Nail Salon for Gel manicure. The ladies that work here speak limited English - enough to get by. If you speak mandarin you would have no trouble communicating. It's an affordable choice to get a Gel Manicure. The seating area can accommodate 2 customers. The space is shared with a Hair Salon (to the back of the shop) and a small stall to the right of the entrance. The young lady was efficient in cleaning, shaping and polishing the nail. I like how she brushes the edge of the nail to "seal in" the polish, it helps prolong the manicure from chips. If you are not looking for the a high-end salon experience, then I'll highly recommend them for a no-frill, on point and affordable manicure. read more

I came here to get my nails done before my concert, and let me say, i am in love with my nails! they are gorgeous and i will definitely be coming back! they treated me so kindly and helped me achieve the exact nails i want. its easier if you come in with a picture of what you want. they only speak chinese, so it was a little hard to communicate, but they are so so sweet! i got gel nails with design for 40! read more

I gave this place 4 stars because the technician was great, and did excellent work (despite the language barrier). Also she was careful and gentle. However.. Word of caution: the salon itself isn't great, esp if you are accustomed to new, pristine, clean salons, I don't think this is the place for you. The space is divided into the nail place and a separate business (hair salon) in the back. Bring your own flip flops. Things look old and used, but I think they do their best to keep it clean. It's clearly a small establishment and I love supporting the hustlers. A quick pedi was only $16, and she gave me a quick massage. I would come here again! read more

Very unsanitary. While doing my nails, she used tools that had another person's remaining on it... she eventually just cleaned it with alcohol. Also, they raised their prices $5 more! read more

As other reviewers have mentioned, CC Nails consists of a mother/daughter duo who do it all. When I went in, both were servicing customers so I thought I was going to be there for a while. However, they work pretty quickly! The mom does most of the pre-work (polish removal, filing and buffing), while the daughter takes care of the application and designs. $20 for a regular gel manicure and a little more if you want designs. Price can't be beat and they do a good job. They speak little English and it is cash only. read more

Decent place for a pedicure for good price of $15. She did a good job. Other prices were pricy and it wasn't that clean. Area next to a hair salon and phone repair shop, all right in the same room. read more

I had a $25 gel (excluding tip) here and was excited to about the gel until it teared AFTER A DAY. The UV light machine was unsanitary as well (I felt dust when using it) and it is questionable whether nail clippers are cleaned as well... Would just pay an extra $20 for a proper and sanitary gel next time... read more

I sent a deposit to secure an appointment, clearly expecting it to go toward the booking. At no point did I say it was a tip. The owner had previously canceled on me last minute, and I was understanding. Instead of asking for a refund, I chose to reschedule. When rescheduling, I was told a time with no clarification of AM or PM. Since I asked for the earliest slot, I assumed AM. I traveled from Brooklyn to Queens early in the morning and waited 45 minutes without a single response to my texts or calls. Hours later, I was finally told to come back. Frustrated but still loyal, I canceled other plans and returned--only to be offered a free manicure to make up for the mix-up. That day, my Uber costs alone were over $100--more than the cost of the service. Given all the inconvenience, I chose not to leave a tip, which is well within my rights as tipping is optional. I usually always tip, but not after that experience. Later, I was refused service completely--because I wanted to apply the deposit I had already sent toward a new appointment rather than let them keep it as a tip. Denying a loyal customer over something so small and unjustified is beyond unprofessional. This business lost two long-time clients over a situation that could've been resolved with basic communication and decency. If you value your time, money, and being treated with respect--go elsewhere And I'm happy you responded the way you did because you only proved my point more of how viewed your customers as optional and I wasn't valued as a customer after 2 years of loyalty and consistent tipping !

Make sure to call to secure a spot, as they can easily get booked! The place is cash only, with tax if you Venmo/Zelle. The place was very chill, with the nail techs chatting with each other throughout my experience while they casually work their magic. I got the Gel Manicure ($40). They started off asking me to pick a color from a selection of books. Then the nail tech asked what shape I wanted, and began filing, shaping, and trimming my cuticles. Note to self and other nail newbies that nails need to grow out super long if you want square gel nails, to prevent the gel from touching your skin. The process was overall very relaxing, and fascinating for me to see the amount of care the lady puts into perfecting my nails. The process took around 1 hour 30 minutes, and even with my first time nails, the lady was chill and accommodated with patience, tips, and skill in making the gel manicure work on my short nails. Both my friend and I were very satisfied. My friend had the Regular Manicure ($15) and she noted how they added a finishing nail enamel spray, which other places don't do. Consider Arete for your next girls self care day!
