I came here for during July (second month of opening) and they had a 90$ any design promo. We were given the time frame of 2-3pm on friday and came here around 230. My sister was seated immediately and her nails turned out well. I was seated about 30 mins later and did a simple cat eye and pedicure. Service was great, workers were very friendly. They have a bathroom which is a few doors down.

Regular gel mani. Loving the color & the shape!

When I couldn't decide what neutral pink color to go with as there are so many great options, the staff recommended me a color that she knew it would look great on Asian skin. And she was right about it.

They took their time to be precise with filing and filling. My friend and I went for their bogo promotion. Their English is VERY limited so make sure you communicate exactly what you want. They have a good variety of colors and polishes available. For more complex designs they will charge for every little thing. Make sure to book your appointment to avoid waiting. I do not believe there's a restroom here. Would be back maybe another time to see if their quality is just as good without the bogo

Quality of work: 4.5 Service: 4 Value: 5 TIME MANAGEMENT: 0 I came in with my friend the last week of June for their BOGO promo. We waited about 25-30 min after our 1pm appointment to get seen. She got a pedicure while I got a gel mani with a simple design. I showed my tech and she was able to replicate it pretty well and for a fraction of the price I usually pay $35 before tip. The actual session lasted about an hour so I was done with my manicure at 2:30. Now, when I asked if they had availability for me to do a pedicure as well, they said yes only after asking if I was in a rush. I said no but should've known better since there were already 3 people waiting for their appointments and only 3 people working that day. 1 person was there for their 2pm appointment and didn't get seen until 2:30. I waited almost 2 hours before I gave up and left at 4-something. Another client whose appointment was at 3pm also left because it's ridiculous. They were very apologetic about it but I don't know what they expected when they were already so behind on clients. Although the work was good and the techs were nice, I'm very much on the fence about coming back because of their disregard for clients time. Being honest by turning away clients and not overbooking is a better way to ensure success in the long run, not just whoever can waste a whole day.

I was helped right away after walking in. My nails turned out beautiful and feel very strong. I love the 3D art and it was all for a very fair price ($120 for this set including the design). My nail tech was very efficient and it didn't take too long.

Everyone here is so kind! I was a bit unhappy with my nail…read moredesign and went back few days after to get it fixed and they were very nice about it! I found my go to place!!

Went here 2x in one week: first time for the manicure and second time for the repair…read more Will I go back? NO The picture of both hands is what we all ideally want but.... Quality of service 1/5 Some ladies translate amongst and for each other and that's okay but what is not okay for them to miscommunicate pricing to the costumer I asked the same question 3x to the person who spoke English: 1. Are those colors the same price? 2. No extra charge? 3. No more money? And the English speaking one said NO and another lady who does not speak English does my manicure and uses cat eye, which ends up being $25 extra at the end I ask them why because I clarified 3x and they gossip in Chinese not knowing I understand it that it was me not willing to pay it so they waived it forcibly and rolled their eyes at me and didn't talk to me. I still tipped 25% and leave $40 gel manicure $10 hard gel extra charge The lady that actually does your nails and not translating the first time? Friendly and that's 1 star The second one named Mia: pretend friendly BUT manipulative "There is morning wrong with our hard gel, your nail is just hard. You should have paid for the $90 UV gel instead of the $50 hard gel" and does NOT pay attention to detail NOR take feedback well Skill 2/5 You can tell they are trained in batches because they all utilize the same technique and it's only good if they are good and it's really bad if it's bad My First Lady: the 2 stars are for her My Second Lady: Paying attention to detail is SO not her skill NOR is taking feedback My Second Lady glued the end extension crooked and refused to take it out so just kept on filing until the nail was too short and not even with others. All other nails are concave. The extension is convex and titled out to an angle way too the left. The top coat from Second Lady: uneven with big dips and bumps and I will NOT wanna go back a 3x to let her fix it. With gel manicures, the top coat is everything and they ruined it I still tipped Second Lady 25% because if you speak up, they scream at you, give you attitude, and the door is locked unless they unlock it remotely Vibe 0/5 They are hot and cold re customer service wise and the second half of the store is under remodeling with some loud thumping. The first half can be more tidy albeit no remodeling. Back hand washing station is overcrowded. Walkway to the bathroom pass the hand washing station is dark Pricing 0/5 If I was paying for quality service and skill, this would have been slightly above average pricing in Flushing but because you get bad service and no attention to detail, it's a 0 Three days later after my first visit, 2 of my nails broke albeit I had hard gel. So the extra $10 for THEIR hard gel won't make a difference versus regular At first they said repair was free 2x but they were going to just paint of over the broken nails with no extension or filing meaning you were gonna have 4 long almond and 1 short square/jagged nail on each hand. And the nail tech proceeded to do that until I told her to please take the gel off my broken infield nail and put an extension on it so all nails are even length and shape and she said $10 for each, so the repair was $20 and not free. That's okay, but to think they really were gonna let you leave the studio like that SMH Also the supposed top coat they give you on all your nails after you repair 2-bumpy and uneven--huge dips and throws all the money you used previously on all other fingers out the window. Gel depends 90% on top coat This is above average pricing in flushing with really sh*tty service and below average skill. Check out Arete Beauty instead! Cheaper (cat eye is an extra $10 not $25) and better skill set and service but make an appointment

Extremely Disappointed After 2+ Years of Loyalty -- Very Money-Hungry Business That Doesn't Value…read moreCustomers My sister and I have been loyal, consistent clients at this salon for over two years. Sadly, our recent experience has shown that they care more about money than treating their customers with basic respect and professionalism. I sent a deposit to secure an appointment, clearly expecting it to go toward the booking. At no point did I say it was a tip. The owner had previously canceled on me last minute, and I was understanding. Instead of asking for a refund, I chose to reschedule. When rescheduling, I was told a time with no clarification of AM or PM. Since I asked for the earliest slot, I assumed AM. I traveled from Brooklyn to Queens early in the morning and waited 45 minutes without a single response to my texts or calls. Hours later, I was finally told to come back. Frustrated but still loyal, I canceled other plans and returned--only to be offered a free manicure to make up for the mix-up. That day, my Uber costs alone were over $100--more than the cost of the service. Given all the inconvenience, I chose not to leave a tip, which is well within my rights as tipping is optional. I usually always tip, but not after that experience. Later, I was refused service completely--because I wanted to apply the deposit I had already sent toward a new appointment rather than let them keep it as a tip. Denying a loyal customer over something so small and unjustified is beyond unprofessional. This business lost two long-time clients over a situation that could've been resolved with basic communication and decency. If you value your time, money, and being treated with respect--go elsewhere And I'm happy you responded the way you did because you only proved my point more of how viewed your customers as optional and I wasn't valued as a customer after 2 years of loyalty and consistent tipping !

I can't stop looking at my nails!…read more I've never done my nails outside before, so I was excited when my friend suggested doing our nails here. The spa is located on the second floor. Make sure to call to secure a spot, as they can easily get booked! The place is cash only, with tax if you Venmo/Zelle. The place was very chill, with the nail techs chatting with each other throughout my experience while they casually work their magic. I got the Gel Manicure ($40). They started off asking me to pick a color from a selection of books. Then the nail tech asked what shape I wanted, and began filing, shaping, and trimming my cuticles. Note to self and other nail newbies that nails need to grow out super long if you want square gel nails, to prevent the gel from touching your skin. The process was overall very relaxing, and fascinating for me to see the amount of care the lady puts into perfecting my nails. The process took around 1 hour 30 minutes, and even with my first time nails, the lady was chill and accommodated with patience, tips, and skill in making the gel manicure work on my short nails. Both my friend and I were very satisfied. My friend had the Regular Manicure ($15) and she noted how they added a finishing nail enamel spray, which other places don't do. Consider Arete for your next girls self care day!

This place left me with serious buyer's remorse--I regretted my decision to come here and even more so after paying so much. During my pedicure, the nail tech scrubbed my foot so aggressively with the exfoliating tool that she cut the underside of my toe. She seemed to realize it too, because she noticeably used less pressure on the other foot. I didn't notice the cut right away, but felt a sting afterward and saw the injury. When I pointed it out, she apologized--but said nothing in the moment and had me put my foot back into the water, which is a major hygiene concern and increases the risk of infection. I asked when I arrived if they accepted cards and was told yes, but the additional card fee wasn't mentioned until checkout. That kind of information should be disclosed upfront--especially given that their prices are already on the higher end. I also got acrylic extensions, which were really mediocre. The length was inconsistent (as shown in my pictures), the application was thick, and the finished result looked like I already had them on for a week--she didn't apply the product close to the cuticle line, which left an obvious gap. The total came out to about $180 for a gel pedicure and acrylic manicure, and unfortunately, the quality just didn't match the price. They're charging premium rates for subpar work. (Keep in mind I wouldn't mind the price if it actually looked good and they did not give me a cut on my foot) Definitely won't be returning, and I WOULD NOT recommend this place to others.

They have a ton of stones, pearls and the like that you can have added to your nail design. They are also good with shaping nails and drawing French lines as well. The interior is simply, but beautifully decorated. It is also very clean. Because they do a lot of nail design work, I would not think that it is possible to just walk in; make sure to make an appointment! They will try to accommodate you as best as they can.
