I walked in on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation looking for a gel Spa pedicure with callus removal. I had not had time to treat myself to a pedicure for a while so my feet were a bit of a mess. No problem, I was seated right away with a super friendly and cheerful technician. I went for the spa pedicure with the callus remover and the massage. I like a base color with a hitter top coat. They did an amazing job, it's a week later and it's still flawless. The whole thing was 75 dollars which I think is fair for a spa and gel and the massage was great and felt longer than 20 minutes to me. Oh and the calluses are gone. Will be back. read more

Very disappointed with my experience. About a week and a half after getting my nails done, every single one started peeling off from the top--something that has never happened to me at any other salon. The application was sloppy, with polish overlapping onto my cuticles, so as my nails grew, the polish peeled off from the cuticle line too. I originally came here because of the great reviews, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. On top of that, they tried to charge me a $5 fee for using a credit card, which they later lowered to $3--but even that doesn't reflect the legal tax rate for card transactions. Recently I took my mother for a manicure pedicure and we splurged on one rather expensive pedicure with pomegranate and hot stone massage (albeit relatively brief) during the pedicures. I've been going here for 10 years and I refuse to go anywhere else. They did my wedding nails too Yes, sometimes there is a short wait--it is a thriving salon. If you go in a weekday/night, it is less crowded. I've gotten dip powder manicures (really amazing--my nails never break with dip), spa pedicures, massages, regular polish, gel polish--all top tier. I bring in pictures of nail art and they always do a BEAUTIFUL job. Everyone who works here is the sweetest and incredibly talented. To the reviewer below who complained that all of the technicians are bilingual (and the reviewer doesn't know what they are saying), perhaps you could educate yourself and learn that the women are organizing clients/appointments to maximize efficiency. If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. I had never been to this salon so looking at reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. My sister and I made appointments a week in advance and they told us we'd be taken care of right away. We got there and not only were there only two people working, they already had a customer each. As soon as we got in, GiGi told us to pick colors so we did. We waited for a bit and they started soaking my nails to take off the previous ones. 20 minutes later, they finally took my sister and started working on her nails. The equipment was extremely unhygienic and unsanitary. She asked not to use the cutters + other equipment because of how dirty everything was, and she asked just to change her polish. However, they did not follow any of her requests and continued cutting her cuticles until she had to stop the unprofessional nail tech. This interaction had already rubbed us the wrong way, but it just kept getting worse. Then, as I continued waiting, they started taking other customers. Again, I had an appointment but I figured it would probably be quick so I did not say anything. 40 minutes go by and when my hands were burning from soaking, I asked them kindly to take a look. GiGi groaned and finally came over to remove the cottons ONLY to put new ones and did not even take a look at my nails properly. I told her I was in pain but she told me "it's fine." I started taking the cotton off myself before it caused any more pain and damage. GiGi made me "soak" for an hour, and kept me waiting until she tends to other customers who came after me (again, even if I had an appointment an hour ago) and then continued to roughly take my nails out and left my nails all brittle and broken while she again tended to another customer. I kept saying I was in pain with her technique and she told me "you're just too sensitive" to cover up her lack of technique .She kept going back and forth between customers and chatting with others while keeping me waiting again and again. My sister was finally done with a very bad nail paint job and I was still not taken care of. When I again asked for my turn and said I have waiting here an hour, she started giving me attitude in front of all the other customers and being very rude as well as hurting me and causing me to bleed slightly from her dirty machine. I had enough so I told my sister lets leave. I paid for my sisters nails and GiGi insisted I pay for mine as well even though she had not done anything but remove TWO previous nails in over an hour... We were so confused and we refused. She then continued being rude and muttered words as we were leaving. She told us at the end that she had enough loyal customers and did not need any new ones... GiGi and her staff were highly unprofessional, rude, and wasted our time. We ended up going to YAYA Nails after which is a 1 minute walk away to fix our disgusting nails. YAYA Nails is a WAY better salon with actual licensed professional nail techs who know what they are doing. We told the new salon about GiGi and her behavior, and they confirmed that they get a lot of unhappy customers come after going to GiGi's. Do not waste your time, energy and money in this filthy and dirty salon with that rude lady GiGi. Go to YAYA Nails instead! You won't be disappointed. read more

I've been coming here for years and I got a gel manicure with some glue on a broken nail ($3) on July 9th and it broke not even 2 weeks later. Today (July 25) I come in at 7:30 after a long day to get the one nail fixed and I've been sitting here for over 30 minutes waiting for anyone even tell me how long I'll be waiting or that they'll be with me soon and apologize. Always have had a bad experience. Visually they updated the store and it's really nice. Now if they could fix their attitudes that would help. It is very obvious they are talking about their customers not even behind your back you just can't understand what they are saying. They also argue a lot. I only go there once in awhile when Ya Ya is busy. I never see them clean there equipment either. I notice if your just getting a manicure and a walk in comes in wanting a pedicure and manicure your be rushed out not even that 2 second neck rude or even worse the have stopped my manicure and set them up so they would not leave. This happened couple times. They do a descent job but more concerned about sanity issues, not cleaning in between customers. read more

I am new to the neighborhood and wanted to give a local place a try. have mixed feelings because my gel manicure came out okay and was reasonably priced - however, I have an issue with the way they removed my gels. I soaked in foils for quite some time, which I am okay with as this is the proper way to remove gel. However, after removing most of the gel from my nails, the tech decided to go in on the last remaining bits with a DRILL instead of a nail file. This is a huge NO for removing gel as she was essentially just drilling my natural nails down. I really hope this salon learns natural nail practices in the future, including the proper way to remove gel polish. (Also, the natural nail salon in my old neighborhood didn't own a drill for this exact reason) read more

They appeared to get a lot of regulars as I heard the staff taking to customers about their lives and families I called in advance to see what was the latest time they would take their last customer to avoid them doing a rush job. Thankfully, the young lady who completed my pedicure was very friendly and took her time. The place was very clean and the staff were very welcoming. I was trying carefully to choose a color and I couldnt even do that, I was rushed by the owner gigi saying OH EVERY COLOR IS PRETTY . The color was so not what I wanted and she didnt even listen. Went in early Saturday morning for a mani pedi for me and my daughter to prepare for a wedding later on in the day.After reading some yelp reviews I was ready for the worst but the ladies there were very sweet. There was only one other customer there so we were taken care of very quickly. Cindy was the one who was taking care of me. She noticed that my feet were dry so she asked if I wanted to try the service that helps remove dry skin that was an extra $6. I opted for it and thank goodness for that, it's baby smooth now! Helen was taking care of my kiddo and she noticed that the mini bites her nails. She made sure to be gentle and even drew a small heart design on the ring finger. Overall the service was great! There was small talk and they were so sweet. We got mini rubs/massages during the pedi and after the mani. Almost wanted to pay extra for a ten min massage but was pressed for time. The mini's mani/pedi was a total of $20 with the small nail design on each ring finger. Mine turned out to be $29 (which included the dry skin removal). I tipped each lady separately. This establishment may seem a bit outdated but the price is inexpensive (compared to places in the city) and the services provided were excellent. They were very courteous and professional. Where do I even begin... I go in about 7pm to get my nails done. Waited for about 20 mins, not too bad, and she started to do my nails. Firstly they were filed unevenly, secondly she cut me, and when I washed my hands my nails weren't smooth. She continued to paint my nails and put so much nail polish and top coat on it didn't even dry correctly. I pressed them down and everything smeared. For the ones that did dry they felt so bumpy due to the fact they weren't buffed correctly. I went to my regular nail salon and they corrected the nail polish for me. Two days later I'm writing this with a now chipped nail. Not worth my $47. On a side note, my pedicure came out wonderfully and still hasn't chipped. read more
