A simple, yet intimate atmosphere paired with a clean layout and soft lighting awaits you in this cozy beauty parlor. This business also offers a comprehensive website for aftercare and other inquiries, including a detailed price list! I scheduled my appointment for 10am this past Monday, and though I had train traffic, my technician Lia was very understanding as I kept her updated about my arrival. After climbing up to the third floor, I was greeted with a smile and gently ushered to her workspace. Though I wish there was a place to hang my coat, she allowed me to take my time to settle in before we began. Lia's consultation with me was concise and informative, explaining how the process would work, easing my nerves as she was aware it was my first time. The studio itself We settled on a natural finish, with the largest lash being 12mm. There isn't much to say about the process itself, as I ended up falling asleep halfway through the hour! I was able to listen to a podcast off my phone without any trouble, and even caught some of the alluring lullabies that play inside the studio. There was little to no pinching at all, marking up the reputation of the studio to the upmost expertise and quality of service. The session was over before I knew it (definite A+ on the speed) and Lia provided a cute mirror and handheld fan to view her work. The lashes were placed perfectly, and provided beautiful, yet subtle volume to my natural eyes to accentuate their look. No signs of redness or stinging at all: just a gorgeous, luxurious look. From this experience, I know what beauty sleep means now-- especially if I wake up looking prettier with a new set of lashes!

The reviews looked good so gave them a call to see if they could accommodate a walk in for removal and they told me what time would work. They have cashmere and mink options Came back and got the volume mink set done for $120 for initial set. Emily did my lashes and she was super sweet. She showed me my options and made recommendations. Very happy with the service.

I noticed they have a deal on yelp and I asked for an appointment and text them, "I'm buying the yelp deal" They text me: Did you buy already? I replied: Not yet.. They text me: You can pay cash here same price for you. But Use only one time . I agreed, although it was best for me to pay by card on yelp. I was accepted their offer by paying cash to help them out. I get there, she looks at my lashes and says she's going to charge me extra $10 for removal. I agreed, but informed technician at this point I had to purchase the yelp deal online for cash balancing. Hanna gets very defensive and says I can no longer get the deal if I buy online because it's only one time use. I then realize the fine print on the yelp says first time customer. However, they knew I was an existing customer when I text them and were allowing me to get the yelp deal as a one time use. Hanna was very rude about the situation and apparently called her boss who also denied accepting yelp deal if i purchased online. They did not honor what they text, picture attached. Had I purchased before I went in on yelp, I would have been fine. By trying to help and agreeing to pay cash, I was later denied on location. Beware of inconsistencies and bad customer service from this business.

I got the lady eyelash (75 lashes) for $80 and got it done in a matter of 45 minutes. This was my first time getting extensions, but the staff was understandable and worked with you. I simply stated that I wanted it to look natural and went with JC curl, which is a slight curl. She also gave me thinner lashes since I wanted to go with the natural look and the length was 11. I was told that 12 is their longest length, which really didn't match up with reviews and pictures here so please double check if you want longer lashes! Other than that, the place was clean and played low music. No complaints at all. Definitely considering on doing a refill.

I moved to Long Island and take the 1hr drive once a month. They last 3-4 weeks, all staff is extremely professional, the establishment is immaculate and they are reasonably priced. I go to Ava, but all the technicians are great. My eyes are very sensitive and I never have any issues. They're also very fast. It never takes longer than an hour. Lastly, in all my years going they have always run on time.

This will probably be my last time getting my lashes done here. And here are the reasons why:…read more 1. The third time I had my lashes done and Linda is the woman who did them. Unfortunately, like in my previous review, she did accidental pokes on my eye AND put pressure on my head AND on my newly done lashes, which is why in the picture below showed her progress of my lashes after a week later. More than half of my lashes were falling off. And I believe she didn't even dry them long enough. I talked to the manager about the situation and they gave a discount which is fine and allowed me to come in another time for a cheaper price. Thankfully, it stayed long enough and I had them done with Irene. Irene was probably the only person who does so well on my lashes so props to her. However, after that appointment, my experience with this location began to drift. Which leads me to reason number two. 2. I booked my lash appointment with Meena. I usually set up my appointments through their website and when I got to the place, Meena told me it would be $80 however I wanted a $50 for 2 weeks. I was genuinely confused about the booking process so I asked her why and was charging me extra. She laughs at my for being ridiculous and said that it is that way because I passed the time after 2 weeks which was definitely so odd since the fucked up my lashes and gave me another set of lashes for three weeks with a discount. My honest opinion, if it was that way then why allow the customer to even pick the option on the website if they were going to give me the original price at the place? It's just very misleading. Another thing, Meena could've been more reasonable and look at the customer's perspective more rather than LAUGHING at them. It's just awfully rude and disrespectful. Anyway, after the appointment, AGAIN, didn't dry my lashes long enough. Hopefully nothing goes wrong but I'm just letting everyone know from my experience that this place is just awful. The location is horrendous and I almost got stuck in their elevator before which is now broken down. If want lashes done, don't ever go here.

We visited specifically for an appointment with NailsbyHyori, one of the nail artists working within the alcove. My girlfriend wanted a special birthday manicure, and the experience was fantastic. The appointment did run about three hours, which is on the longer side, but that's because of the detailed, custom design work. Hyori mentioned that simpler styles would naturally take less time. The results were absolutely perfect, exactly what she wanted. The best part might have been the price. For the quality and attention to detail, it was way more affordable than we expected. Given the great experience and the value, this will likely become her go-to nail spot whenever we're in the Flushing area. If you're looking for quality nail art from a dedicated artist, NailsbyHyori at 7 Lashes Alcove is definitely worth checking out.

Worst Lash-Lift Experience Ever…read more I wish I'd read a review like this before walking into this salon. From start to (abrupt) finish, every red flag was waving: * Untrained technician. She literally propped the product manual against the lamp and read each step aloud while "working" on me. Confidence-shattering to say the least. * Skipped the key step. Instead of anchoring a silicone rod to my eyelid to lift the lashes, she brushed perm solution straight onto my flat lashes and claimed they were "too stubborn" to curl. * Chemical overkill. She reapplied the perm solution three times, insisting it would "soften" the hairs. By the third coat my eyes were burning and my gut told me to stop the service. * Damage done. I left with lashes so brittle and limp that I can't wear falsies, mascara, or even attempt another professional lift for the foreseeable future. * Tone-deaf resolution. Management offered to "redo" the service the very next day--after stripping nearly every ounce of strength from my natural lashes. Absolutely not. I'm now stuck in a months-long recovery routine of lash serums and gentle cleansing, all because basic training and client safety were ignored. If you value your natural lashes, steer clear of this place.

First off, the salon is down a flight of broken concrete steps that are a tripping hazard and it is drafty and cold inside with no nice touches. I added on a service of callus removal - $15, not cheap. It was subpar, I've never seen a rasp used in any of the dozen salons I've used over the years, and the actual removal was not good. Maybe 50% of the callus was removed. Most salons have nail drying oil and saran wrap at the pedicure drying station for customers to use. This one did not. When I asked for saran, the nail tech wrapped it so haphazardly (like she had never done it before), that I ended up with marks from the saran all over my nails. Do NOT recommend.

Quality of service 1/5 Some ladies translate amongst and for each other and that's okay but what is not okay for them to miscommunicate pricing to the costumer I asked the same question 3x to the person who spoke English: 1. Are those colors the same price? 2. No extra charge? 3. No more money? And the English speaking one said NO and another lady who does not speak English does my manicure and uses cat eye, which ends up being $25 extra at the end I ask them why because I clarified 3x and they gossip in Chinese not knowing I understand it that it was me not willing to pay it so they waived it forcibly and rolled their eyes at me and didn't talk to me. I still tipped 25% and leave $40 gel manicure $10 hard gel extra charge The lady that actually does your nails and not translating the first time? Friendly and that's 1 star The second one named Mia: pretend friendly BUT manipulative "There is morning wrong with our hard gel, your nail is just hard. You should have paid for the $90 UV gel instead of the $50 hard gel" and does NOT pay attention to detail NOR take feedback well Skill 2/5 You can tell they are trained in batches because they all utilize the same technique and it's only good if they are good and it's really bad if it's bad My First Lady: the 2 stars are for her My Second Lady: Paying attention to detail is SO not her skill NOR is taking feedback My Second Lady glued the end extension crooked and refused to take it out so just kept on filing until the nail was too short and not even with others. All other nails are concave. The extension is convex and titled out to an angle way too the left. The top coat from Second Lady: uneven with big dips and bumps and I will NOT wanna go back a 3x to let her fix it. With gel manicures, the top coat is everything and they ruined it I still tipped Second Lady 25% because if you speak up, they scream at you, give you attitude, and the door is locked unless they unlock it remotely Vibe 0/5 They are hot and cold re customer service wise and the second half of the store is under remodeling with some loud thumping. The first half can be more tidy albeit no remodeling. Back hand washing station is overcrowded. Walkway to the bathroom pass the hand washing station is dark Pricing 0/5 If I was paying for quality service and skill, this would have been slightly above average pricing in Flushing but because you get bad service and no attention to detail, it's a 0 Three days later after my first visit, 2 of my nails broke albeit I had hard gel. So the extra $10 for THEIR hard gel won't make a difference versus regular At first they said repair was free 2x but they were going to just paint of over the broken nails with no extension or filing meaning you were gonna have 4 long almond and 1 short square/jagged nail on each hand. And the nail tech proceeded to do that until I told her to please take the gel off my broken infield nail and put an extension on it so all nails are even length and shape and she said $10 for each, so the repair was $20 and not free. That's okay, but to think they really were gonna let you leave the studio like that SMH Also the supposed top coat they give you on all your nails after you repair 2-bumpy and uneven--huge dips and throws all the money you used previously on all other fingers out the window. Gel depends 90% on top coat This is above average pricing in flushing with really sh*tty service and below average skill. Check out Arete Beauty instead! Cheaper (cat eye is an extra $10 not $25) and better skill set and service but make an appointment
