Last time I came here, "Sugar" did my lashes. She was so gentle, I fell asleep! In fact, I know at one point I was drifting off to dreamland, and I remember twitching (how embarrassing). She didn't make any deal of it, and simply waited until I was still, before resuming the application. She was also easy-handed with the glue, ensuring they were dried as much as possible, and my eyes felt little irritation afterwards. Highly recommend her! Instead, she put it aside and pulled out a new tool to continue on her client. Seeing that made us feel better about trying a new lash spa together. The technician asked if I wanted to upgrade the lashes for a little extra to either mink or silk for a softer feel. I believe I opted for silk as I was starting a new job days later and didn't want my lashes to look dramatic. I expressed I wanted natural-looking lashes and they worked with me to find the set I would like. I've only done my lashes once since I find it uncomfortable, but plan to return with another Groupon. This review is being written after my second visit. So I did my eyelashes for the first time there and went for the fill-in 3weeks later. Pros: The place has a beautiful ambiance. There are a wide variety of displays of lash types, styles, and pricing. The staff is friendly. Its a quiet place with tranquil music playing. I was falling asleep during my service. *First visit...my lashes stayed on for most of the 3 weeks. 2nd visit... most of my lashes were falling out within the first few days. Cons: I would give this place 5 stars but I felt I was being rushed by the lady at the front desk. She appears to be the owner or manager. I don't do my lashes at all so I wanted to ask abt the lengths, curl types and thickness... she was very abrupt taking my payment and assigning me lash tech. Her answers were short and on the cold side. I found the place on Groupon. By the time I was ready to use my voucher, the spa had no available dates for me to make an initial appointment. I had to trade in the voucher before it expired. She told me to pay out of pocket because she didn't understand the voucher system from groupon. So I paid twice for a service I what paid for . Also there was an extra charge to use my card too. The lash tech put a combination of fan lashes and individual lashes during my fill-in. I feel as though it was lazy and an attempt to get through my lash session quicker although I paid for individual lashes. It didn't look bad. But I guess the fan lashes were used to fil up spaces in my natural lash. I always use proper care with my extension lashes to preserve my natural lash. I really wanted to like this place. I gave it so many tries. The place is clean and they are really nice but their technique just is off. The first girl i went to did my lashes wayyy to close to my lash line, it was uncomfortable. Then the next time i got a new lash tech, they looked great but as the grey out i started noticing some lashes were glued to two different lashes and it would get stuck and hurt. But even so i went back. This last time i had to go back twice because it was so uncomfortable and the lash really poked me and hurt. They fixed it but then i ended up getting a stye. Which could be from me rubbing my eyes so much from the uncomfort? Who knows. My sister also came here and got a stye on BOTH eyes. Groupon was for 80 lashes but she said to add more (10 more for $10 and 20 for $20) which was pretty cool Got here and it's not a luxury spa, it actually looks pretty sketch, I wouldn't come here based on first glance I would say as a pre warning, they do get busy and it's not a place for first timer with lots of questions (they're not known for the best customer service) this was my first time here but not first time with lash extension so I had an idea of what I wanted but there was 2 people behind me that didn't and kinda caused a ruckus. I got the c curl, 12mm, and the cat eye effects, .15mm thick. For 10 bucks more, you can get 20mm thick and softer but eh I didn't care. I bought a Groupon for a cheap deal and had my lashes done on Thursday 10/31 for my wedding which is on Sunday. I picked curl - C, thickness - 0.15, and length - 11. The "cute" look. Aime did my lashes and it took exactly one hour since it was a set of 80 lashes. I had a good experience, Aime was very thorough and patient. I wear glasses - never worn contacts a day in my life. The lashes were kinda longer than I expected because it kept touching my glasses but it was very nicely done and super cute on me. I couldn't get them shorter as it wouldn't show too much of a difference and it couldn't be cut neither. I had them on for only a week as it was bothering me but when I took them off with the remover, the glue was still stuck to my lashes. Bling Lash was my spot for eyelashes for almost an entire year. Their prices are reasonable and their staff is very friendly and professional. I've read some reviews about people saying the staff isn't helpful but I couldn't disagree more. The staff has always answered all of my questions and provided helpful advice. Unfortunately I think I'm going to look elsewhere for my next lash appointment. The last 3 times I got my lashes done I had clumps of lashes glued together. I never ask for a specific eyelash tech so I can't say who. I've gone back to get things fixed a few times but sometimes I can't be bothered to go back after a few days. When your natural eyelashes start to grow out it can be very painful when they are glued improperly. I wish I could take a better picture of it. It also makes your lashes droop. I normally get them not very long because I do wear glasses but they look natural but also glamorous at the same time and I get also silk lashes so they feel very light weight on my eyes. They ask you what's your preferred style and I wasn't too sure. You literally decide the shape, weight, and length. I had been wanting to try lash extensions for quite some time and finally found this place via Groupon (I got the natural 80 lashes per eye). Groupon is only for first time customers, btw. I called to make an appointment and received a text reminder as well. There is street parking that is metered but if you drive a little further, there is free residential parking. Since it was my first time getting extensions, I had NO idea what length to get. The receptionist called an older lady in a lab coat to see what she would recommend and she recommended 10-11 since it was my first time. The receptionist also asked me if I wanted to try the silk lashes and I opted to do them because they felt more realistic and lighter on the display board. I didn't feel pressured at all to upgrade. The display board has samples of the different curl styles, lengths and material of the lashes for you to see. I just had to pay another $10 for the silk ones. I did not wait long until it was my turn. The whole process was pretty quick, under an hour. You have to keep your eyes closed the entire time. I only felt some very minor stinging and pinching 2-3x during the process but no irritation afterward. It's pretty relaxing as they do the extensions and there is relaxing music playing so feel free to nap! Two people were snoring next to me when they were getting their extensions lol. Like others said though, they don't change the sheets/pillows that you lie on. I actually really liked how they did my lashes on the right eye but the left looked a little odd. I thought maybe it was my technician but when I went back to get a refill, it still looked the same so I'm thinking maybe it had something to do with my natural lashes? Be warned though if this is your first time getting the lash extensions, it does take a few days of getting used to seeing the lashes. I normally have non-existent lashes so when I got the 10-11 I thought I looked ridiculous (I actually asked the lady if she could trim them a little for me but she said she couldn't do that) for the first 2-3 days but then I got used to it and LOVED them. I got a ton of compliments from everyone and one of the girls at work who is a makeup/eyelash fiend said that whoever did my lashes did an amazing job. Make sure you comb your lashes every night. They will give you a free eyelash comb. If you want to do the lash fills, make sure you make the appointment within their time frames otherwise you'll have to pay for a whole new set which is obviously much more expensive. I missed my 3 week mark (extensions were still pretty full at 3 weeks!) and didn't want to pay for a whole new set so I just let them fall out on their own (you have to pay $10 if you want them to remove it for you - no appointment needed for lash removal). I would say my lashes still lasted until a month after getting them done and even with some falling out, you couldn't tell any were missing! It was maybe at the 1.5 month mark that they started looking a little sparse. I decided to give my lashes a little break since I had them on for almost 2 months but I honestly wanted to keep them on forever! They're just THAT pretty! :) When the extensions were gone, my eyes looked SO plain and sad lol. It took me a few days to get used to not having the extensions :( I am getting married in 2 months and will definitely be coming back to Bling Lash & Spa again! read more

Hit or miss, lately its been a miss, when you ask for a certain amount of lashes, they put less than the amount you pay and ask for. I ask for 80 PER eye and it looks like 60 per eye. And when you say it doesn't look like 80 per eye or whatever amount you get per eye, they say "yes it is" and who wants to go back and forth with someone after paying almost $100. Over it. I am not someone who likes to leave bad reviews and would much rather leave a good one that being said feel I am being generous even giving two stars to this place. I got my lashes done on Saturday after struggling to get an appointment for weeks. A few times I called, no one would even answer the phone even when I called multiple times. I can understand that they get booked quickly but this seemed like a constant thing as soon as I told them I had a Hroupon for them. We then quickly went through what style, curl, length, etc. I'd prefer. Luckily I have had lashes prior to this so I had an idea what I would like or how things would look, because the girl behind the counter did not offer any help. I was taken care of fairly quickly and maybe that's why I'll give this place 2 starts, that and that it was clean. However, the ambience was quickly ruined as the girl doing my lashes would stop often to talk to her coworkers and since I was situated right by the door I was privy to all conversations happening around me even by customers. The girl who did my lashes pinched my skin twice causing me to tear up, but I understand accidents happen so I did not complain. How about the lashes themselves. I had chosen an 80 lash set for a more fuller look. However, I've had 60 lashes before that have looked fuller than this. The worst part is I feel like half of my lashes have already fallen out and it hasn't even been a week. I also feel like the lashes have been glued further down on the lash to make them look longer instead of using longer lashes but that is just my theory as to why the glue was placed so much further down rather than near the lash bed.
