Amazing experience! First time, came in for a consultation with Jamie about a year ago. I had a bad case of melasma on my forehead that would flare during summer time especially. My friend has been going here for a while and suggested I go with her for a Hydrafacial. I've had my fair share of facials and this was definitely one of the best. Loved the Hydrafacial machine. It's like a microdermabrasion but not as harsh. It has suction but it shoots out serum at the same time. My aesthetician Kate explained every step, which I liked. I know some people like a quiet session but I liked that she explained everything. Everything felt amazing except for the extractions. That felt more painful than other extractions I've had in the past but didn't have to endure too many. My face was so clean and glowing even before she did the whole mask and cream treatment. We ended with blue light therapy. Highly recommend before a special event or just to get your face clean and nourished regularly. I can't see myself driving to Flushing unfortunately so I'll have to go when my friend goes. But definitely thinking about getting the membership and I'm considering toning laser treatment after the summer. I've done 3 sessions of the Genius RF microneedling, several hydrofacials, and today the exosome facial therapy. I had mild acne hyperpigmentation but started seeing results just two weeks after my first microneedling session. 4 months later, my acne scarring is almost completely gone and I can feel my skin much healthier than ever before. I have had acne prone skin since high school and have tried more facial treatments than I can count at so many places. Many of which were quite discounted and have showed minimal progress, so I decided to make an investment and I came to Skin Solutions. I bought a package (3 sessions) where I recieved 3 treatments: hydrofacial, genius microneedling, and dermashine for $2300. Yes it is a hefty amount that I normally would not spend, but i like to think of it as I'm doing 9 treatments total at this price, and nothing I was previously doing was working. I'm 2 sessions in now and I have to say I see improvement! It is a slow process, but due to my skin history, I'm quite pleased. Staff is very nice and the place is clean. I've been wanting to get a facial and some skin treatments for my melasma and veins on my face and luckily a friend highly recommended Skin Solutions. I'm writing this review with my face still numb from the numbing cream since I just left from getting my second session. Jaimie who does the laser and is also the owner is very knowledgeable on treating everyone's face to what is needed. Save your money and the trip: I went in for a hydrafacial. Hydrafacial machine was not used how it should be used. Literally just used one option from the machine which was the suction when it is a 4 step system. I found this place because the legit hydrafacial website suggested them as license hydrafacialist. This review is loooong overdue. I found this place on Yelp last summer, when my skin was in desperate need of some help (as you can see from the left side of my picture). It's hard to find a place in Flushing that can really cater to people of my skin tone and the discoloration we get from scarring, so I was hesitant at first to visit in case it made my dark spots worse. I got a hydrafacial on my first visit and I was immediately impressed. I'm so used to coming out of facials with more breakouts on my face the day after, but this time my skin was unbelievably soft and smooth. Jamie, the owner, gave me a thorough consultation, and explained to me why certain popular dark spot treatments might damage my darker colored skin. She recommend ematrix treatments, which we got started on two days after. After only two treatments last year, my skin already started clearing up significantly. I'll admit I've been pretty inconsistent with making appointments. I was supposed to get 3 treatments last year but I only went in for 2, and also I've only scheduled hydrafacials 2 or 3 times this year. But as you can see from my photo, my skin is so much improved from when I started, and I'm excited to see what it will look like once I become consistent with my treatments. If there's anyone who's dealing with dark spots (especially those with darker skin tones), PLEASE DON'T HESITATE.
