Her demeanor remained rude throughout my appointment and even during checkout. Customer service and communication are such an important part of the client experience, especially at the front desk, and that was completely lacking. I came in for a light volume lash set, and unfortunately I was not happy with the results. The lash removal process was uncomfortable and caused a burning sensation, and the final result was uneven between my two eyes. After spending so much time at the appointment, I honestly didn't have the energy to ask for corrections and just wanted to leave. Given the pricing and reputation of the salon, I expected a much higher level of service and quality. Unfortunately, between the poor customer service and the disappointing lash results, I would not return.

I initially thought I would do the Natural Lashes which is what I've typically done with other lash technicians. The lady on the phone explained to me that the Natural Lashes are typically J curls and 11mm in length. Since I usually do C curls, she recommended the Glamour Lash Set instead. I paid a $30 deposit as this is a requirement in case you no-show or cancel within 24 hour notice and paid the remaining balance of $70 via Zelle after getting my lashes done. Note: if you pay with credit card, you will have taxes & fees added so make sure to bring cash or use Zelle. Also, tip is only via cash so come prepared. My lash technician, Lola, did a great job! My lashes have more volume and still look natural, but just more enhanced. She also has such a light touch (either that or I was super tired) because I definitely fell asleep for a bit. Technician glues multiple cluster of lashes to my right eyelid. Tearing for an hour after install. Texted Mirella Selimovich, owner, explaining issue. Told me to come in for review/correction. Noticed next AM at work, tech glued another set of clusters to my left eyelid. Texted Mirella requesting full refund as I now have to pay for removal by another salon as well a new set as obviously I have no further confidence in her or her lash technicians. Your statement with reference to poor removal/hygiene - it's sad when other technicians are scape goated for poor work they have to rectify when the installation was less than to begin with. Removal was difficult due to placement of clusters too close to lash line as well as too close together, glued on top of each other, and same holds true for appearance of a sty. Ocular sebaceous glands cant secrete as usual - again- because of poor application. But of course, you with your professional experience should be knowledgeable of that. And, please, stop acting as if the way I spoke to you was improper when your texts are posted for everyone to read LMAO. Lesson learned here is to be grateful for the money I spent to know unequivocally this is a business I wouldn't waste any money on in the future. I travel from Brooklyn to Queens for lash extensions. My first experience with Cozy this year was great, my cashmere lashes lasted at least 5 weeks even though I went to the beach and had gotten them wet/didn't take care of them. My next experience, I tried mink. I got a different tech and after two whole weeks, I barely have any left. Each day, so many lashes would fall off without my real lash hair attached, which means they probably didn't use enough glue or there was an issue with the glue that they used. Unfortunately, since these lash trips are quite the trek for me, I value consistency in all the techs. For Cozy to be a top tier lash place, all techs should have enough experience, so that even if I had to switch techs last minute, I would hope that whoever does it would produce the same results as long as they work for the same place. Cozy was really promising for me--it had every potential to be my go-to lash place. I hope that my honest review will have them consider making sure that their techs are consistently producing quality work, or for them to do quality checks on the glue that they use. Even though Cozy offered me a discount to get this fixed, which I highly appreciate, I just don't have the time to go back to them until 4 weeks later, when I expect to get a new set.

I came here on a whim as I walked past but soo much regret. Originally wanted to get my eyebrow threaded but forgot I already prepaid for an eyebrow threading card elsewhere so I switched to a manicure because I hate doing my own nails. Chose my colour and sat down.. the lady who did my nails did not want to do nails and you could tell. Whenever I walk into a nail salon, the host is very friendly, engages with you and talks to you about your day. Nope... not a single word out of this lady. She was a bit aggressive when she was filing my nails.. kinda pulled my hand like a mom pulling her kid to come this way. Like... you're in the service industry, what... Filing was not straight.. you can see that from my picture. I asked her to fix it because I could've done it myself if I wanted something so imperfect but I think she was annoyed.. she did cut my nails, filed, buffed, apply cuticle oil, cut my cuticle and gave me a small hand massage. Colour.. yikes.. the colour was sheer to the point where it doesn't look like I have anything on. I think she should've done at least 3-4 coats but only did two.. colours are suppose to be opaque but no.. I came home and luckily had a colour that was similar enough to paint on top. Overall, not returning for nails. Probably wouldn't even return for brows.. the place is tiny.. uncomfortably small but if you're really on a whim, give their threading a try as I do see a lot of people come in for that.
