SCAMMERS. I used…read morethem a few years ago with a Groupon. The same Groupon is still up... I purchased a new one. After years mind you. I go there for my appointment... and they said that they no longer go out Groupons for repeat costures... IT DOES NOT SAY ON GROUPON. Their excuse is that Groupon don't allow that, which is not true. I have seen plenty Groupons that have that disclaimer. What they are doing here? I can tell u... they have the repeat Groupon customers come in. Tell them that excuse that they do not disclose at all on the Groupon nor on the schedule call. And when u arrive... they double the price. Since you are already there and probably is doing this for a reason of special occasion. Now u are trapped and pay double. I'm not even going to review anything else since they are super scammy and dishonest with their business practice. This is unacceptable! Get out of Groupon or have the disclaimer on the site, and on the calls for appointments. I could tell they deal with this all the time, they have an excuse they keep repeating and clearly works to double their prices once the unknowing customer walks in and now is stuck Now idk how to get my money back and I walked put of this place that instead of honoring the service they charged me for, gave me a headache to get my money back, while they know this is happening because of them and their greed to take the thing off Groupon. They rather add a headache to someone's day than remove a deceiving advertisement from the app and lose exposure. Think about whom u are supporting when u get your services. THEY ARE THIEVES. Don't go here. UPDATE: I got my lashes done by another place. And the Groupon app returned my money as credits... I was gonna delete the app since it enables scammers like these. But now I have to keep the app and find a way to get the credit back or use it so I don't lose the money... this is frustrating. Don't go to this place.

Since all my favorite lash extension salons either closed during covid or relocated to an area that…read moreonly has paid street parking, I was looking for a new spot closer to home. I decided on trying out Fay Lashes since it was only a 2-block walk from my apartment. I was thrilled after my first appointment for a new set, they really went above and beyond in making sure the style was exactly what I wanted and took care in giving me soft and voluminous lashes. Unfortunately, every other appointment over the next 6 months was a disappointment. At first, I expressed to them that the long inner corners were uncomfortable and poking my eyes, and requested they be shortened but they told me I had to buy a brand new set if I wanted that done - which, as you all know, is much more expensive than a routine fill appointment. Second, once you're done they make you hold the fan to dry the glue yourself and basically try to rush you out the door even if your eyes are still tearing from the fumes. Third, I started noticing that they began to use fewer but larger clusters of lashes at every fill, which creates the illusion of volume but leaves obvious gapping when one falls out a few days later from being too heavy for my natural lashes. It got so out of hand that I would be "done" in only 15 minutes when I know full well that a normal 3-week follow-up appointment takes at least 45 mins to an hour when applied correctly. I did not appreciate the shortcuts they were taking, so I took my business elsewhere.
