What I got: Glamour Lash Set ($105): C curls with varying lengths depending on your preference (I did 11-13mm with 8-9mm at the ends) Aya's take: I've actually never heard of Lash Bar but I called the day before to make an appointment since the place I usually go to was booked. I initially thought I would do the Natural Lashes which is what I've typically done with other lash technicians. The lady on the phone explained to me that the Natural Lashes are typically J curls and 11mm in length. Since I usually do C curls, she recommended the Glamour Lash Set instead. I paid a $30 deposit as this is a requirement in case you no-show or cancel within 24 hour notice and paid the remaining balance of $70 via Zelle after getting my lashes done. Note: if you pay with credit card, you will have taxes & fees added so make sure to bring cash or use Zelle. Also, tip is only via cash so come prepared. My lash technician, Lola, did a great job! My lashes have more volume and still look natural, but just more enhanced. She also has such a light touch (either that or I was super tired) because I definitely fell asleep for a bit. I've been coming to Lash Bar for two years now and this place checks all the boxes. At least my tech, Sofia does ;) She's gentle, doesn't put lashes too close to your lash line, and they LAST, as they should. There was one time when my lashes fell off quicker than it normally does but I think that's when I had another tech work on my lashes. Once I communicated that to the owner, she told me to come in for a fix right away. Also to be noted - the owner may seem a little tough but she's a sweetheart. I think she's just foreign and may come off rough around the edges. She's not mean though lol. She's actually pretty funny. The space is small but clean and pretty. They've done really well with the space that they have. They make sure to have you take off your shoes on the bed which I appreciate. They have little goodie bags with lash care instructions and spoolies to take home. The pricing is very fair for Queens, especially for the quality of work done. Many other places might be cheaper but so will the quality of the job. I get the volume lashes and come back for fills every 3-4 weeks. They stay on really well. I came to lash bar for a few months and the service was really disappointed. This place genuinely seems like they prioritize money over their clients and it shows in their work and their customer service. I would go for volume lashes and would need to go every two weeks because the fall out was so bad I would have bald spots by week 2. my refills would last 40 minutes, which definitely is a red flag for a volume fill. I had constant issues where I would feel pain when blinking my eyes because the lashes were placed too close to my eyelid base. When I voiced my problem, lash bar dismiss my issues and stated that my eyelashes were too weak, which caused the pain. This was absolutely a lie because I now go to a new lash place and have never had that issue since and also was seen by my eye Doctor Who was able to tell under a microscope that the Lash is way too close to my eyelid. This place is beautiful on the outside, but the heart of the business is pretty spoiled. They are quick to blame their customers for any issues. the longevity of the lashes completely destroys any justification of their prices. read more

I got my lashes done here early in April. Nice, clean spot with nice technicians & receptionist. My problem is with how my technician did my lashes. it was my first time getting my lashes done, and i got the glamour set. it was done so quickly and guess what? one eye had less lashes than the other (or at least thats how it looked) bc i noticed it and thought it was just me but somebody else pointed out for me too it was embarrassing. i even noticed that the technician spent less time on that eye so no wonder!! i texted the place and asked if i can come in and get it fixed and they apologized nd had me come in the next day. though i appreciated it, it was still a pain to have to make the trip back. i got it fixed and i lovedddd how they looked. the day after that. i went on my vacation & two lashes fell out!!! i had many lashes fall out from that one eye over that week but the other eye was perfect. and then i noticed that ive had some of my lashes get stuck together by the lash glue in pairs. so if one lash came out, so did the other. arent the natural lashes supposed to be separated from each other???? so idk why they were stuck together like that. the lash technician needs to work on taking her time and not rushing to finish a set, and maybe this wouldnt have happened. i loved my lashes and how they look but im not going to back here to have my lashes done because i dont wanna lose my natural lashes. i would rather pay more for a better job done. read more

I really, really wanted to like this place. But I just couldn't. The customer service was not good, The positives; It was clean, cute, and the girl doing my lashes was very nice. Now, the nitty gritty: I don't think the cashier smiled one time while we interacted and it was my first time there. That's not how you keep customers. My lashes look so bad just one week later. The outer corners were drooping the same day- with a good lash artist this doesn't happen I asked for hybrid and she automatically points me to "light volume" without showing me any sort of reference besides the person who just got theirs done. Then she points out how my eyes are uneven (literally my biggest insecurity) so we should only do a certain length. TBH, one of my eyelids is heavier than the other but this would have zero impact on the length, that has everything to do with the height of the brow bone. I know this, because I get lashes all the time. Anyways, I paid $160 for cheap feeling and looking lashes, "light volume" barely even looked like a step up from classics. it took ONE HOUR only. No volume can be done in a single hour. $145+tip FOR AN HOUR!!!!!!! The fans closed within a few days despite me washing and brushing my lashes as needed. I prefer Lash Out Bar on Broadway! My lashes are always perfect quality, they stay looking gorgeous for 2-3 weeks with proper maintenance and the customer service is top tier. I honestly regret deviating from my normal lash routine by coming here. Really feel like I wasted my money. I've gotten much more beautiful lashes in Russia for $22. Not worth it. read more

My lashes are incredible. So far i've had them for 3 weeks and theyre on like glue! Very much so intact and look beautiful. As a first timer for lash extensions, i was nervous. I recently got lash extensions here. I went big and got the fabulash set or whatever their fanciest package is called. I usually do 12 and 13mm for length but this was 14mm and up. My lashes looked almost too thick and long. I got them because i was traveling and didn't want to wear makeup or worry about mascara running down my face. It took me a few days to get used to it. That being said, I've had my lashes for a month without a follow up and they still look good. I haven't worn makeup and have gotten tons of compliments on my lashes. Also the technician was fast. She did the whole new set in about an hour. I will say it can be hard to get an appointment, but if you are willing to be patient it is worth it. read more
