This location is conveniently located right off the train station on ditmars blvd. I was in and out earlier this month and the seats are well spaced that my stroller fit comfortably in between. THANK GOD! Although the prices outside are not accurate, the ladies in there were so sweet and patient. Party was great and I would definitely try her again for my other waxings. Definitely worth the trip, I paid $7 to have my eyebrows cleaned up. I would come back here if I'm in the area; on the weekends of course. Thank you Beauty Brows! And they have one of those free eyebrow cards; I love those. read more

Beauty Browns has been THE go-to salon for my waxes and eyebrows for YEARS. They get it right every single time. They listen to your concerns and they never push a service on you. Eyebrow threading can be daunting especially when you've never been to a place but I've always been clear with what I expected and I always get it here plus the price is unbeatable! read more

I don't even know what to say - you took so much hair off of my left eyebrow. Instead of stopping when you saw my microblading tattoo, you kept going. Then, you cut me by pressing so hard on my skin that it burned. You continued to press hard each time. When I spoke up, your coworker replied with, "Sorry - she tried to follow your microblading line." Are you kidding me?? All you had to say was sorry? You still happily took my money and shrugged like oh well, your problem, not mine. Last time I'm going here - absolutely unprofessional. This was unacceptable. read more

Gave them a second chance after many requests from their owner, and somehow had a worse experience. My brows look horrible, and when I asked her to try to clean up the edge at least after she said she was done, she just made them worse. Never, ever, ever again read more

3x for eyelash extensions and still not disappointed! Bina is QUICK and very gentle. I can usually get an appt 1-2 days in advance. Every 2 weeks is recommended, sounds like a lot but for the price it's pretty manageable. I always leave satisfied. Bina suggests to use oil-free makeup remover and oil-free eyeliner (clean eyes with Q-tips at night) to get maximum wear. I am considering going back for microblading - it's an unbeatable price. This is my go-to spot for eyebrows, head massages with hot oil, and waxing needs for the last 5 years. I've recommended this place to all my girlies in Astoria and will continue to do so. Bina and Pinky are my favorite but every one working here really knows what they're doing. How ever you want your shape to be, they will listen. If they can't shape them it to your liking, they'll let you know beforehand. For ex, I have rather straight eyebrows so unfortunately I'll never have the arch. But they shape my brows in a way that compliments my face and leaves me feeling super sexy. I get compliments on my eyebrows everytime. Also, it's 5 bucks so it doesn't really get better than that. If you have a bunch of stuff you want to get done, I'd recommend making an appt ahead of time with the person of your liking. Lastly, it's literally right off the train so it's also super convenient! read more

I thought I would give this place a chance since I had just moved back to Astoria since they always seem to have lots of people in there. Well, I asked for eyebrow threading and tinting... I've had this done at plenty of places before and none have resulted in the tinting being this horrible. It's messy and all over my skin and overall too dark when she assured me it would be light. Never again. read more

Definitely not the spot to go for lash extensions... I should have known better, but I had just moved to the 'hood and was looking for a new spot. This is right off the subway, and the prices were amazing. I gave them two tries. The length and fullness were amazing, but they did not last. Unfortunately, the second time I was out of the country and literally, the lashes were just falling off my eyelid. Plus, one eye was worse than the other, so they looked super uneven and strange. (I've had lash extensions for a while now, so I know how to care for them properly... they were just done very poorly.) Also, my eyelids were itchy for over a week. The red flag should have been the signs on the wall that said it isn't their responsibility if you're allergic to the glue. I have never seen that anywhere else that does lashes! And the lashes themselves were thick and kind of plastic-y. Very cheap. It's like they know that and are just trying to cover their booties with the signs. My first visit, there wasn't even any music playing... so I was just laying there in silence. Awkward. Equally unimpressive was the fact that the woman kept pressuring me into getting my brows waxed, even after I told her no. At one point, she had the thread in her mouth, ready to go! And she was going to put that on my face? No. I had to forcefully tell her I don't like threading to get her to back off. Last but not least, I made the appointment and showed her what I had left of my last extensions. She gave me the price for a refill, and that was fair. But when I came in a few days later, she charged me for a full set. It wasn't worth arguing because I know I wasn't coming back, but the fact that they weren't ethical in addition to being shoddy was irritating. read more

Came here for my very first set of lashes. I purchased a package through groupon and used a 20% off coupon. I absolutely loved how it came out. Putting them on was easy for me - I even took a little nap in the process. I got these done before my vacation - I went snorkeling, and was in the water every day (I was careful about not rubbing my eyes) my set still looks pretty good. I have really short lashes - with these I dont have to add my mascara or any other eye makeup for that matter, I can't even feel that they are on, and they give my face an extra umph. I will certainly consider getting them again soon! read more

Came here to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. They were quick and did a good job. The place was clean and the prices were good.

Went in for a clean up and Asha did a fantastic job on the hideous thing that were my former brows. I think this is the best my eyebrows have looked in the last 10 years. Also she didn't make me bleed or hurt my eyes which is sometimes common from my experience. Can we just make this salon the gold standard in threading?? read more

I've tried a dozen of waxing places in NYC and this place is the best one so far considering the result, professionalism and cost into factors. I've been coming here for about 6 months and every time I come, I'm greeted with warm smiles and have less than 5 minute waiting time without making an appointment (on weekdays before 6pm). They have a Groupon deal deal too so I get Brazilian wax for $20. The lady asks me if the temperature is okay and she rarely double dips. She is fast and efficient and the product that this place uses is decent. I'm satisfied in every single way and would stick to this place as long as I live in Astoria. read more

So clean very professional. Beautiful and talented people... My eyes brows always look amazing and eyelashes I won't go no where else..

I went here to get my lashes extension. Priaya is the one who did my lashes. Things you should know -she's going to ask you to hold a small fan -you're going to get teary eyes while she's putting the extensions because of the air of the fan. -she's going to lift up your eyes to see if the extension is touching your eye ball. For $25 and $5 for threading eyebrows total of $30 is not bad honey! BTW- $5 for refill and removal of lashes extension. This place is amazing! Clean and nice service! read more

I have been coming to Beauty brows for over a year now, for eyelash extensions and eyebrow henna and they have always done such an amazing job! I am constantly stopped on the street about my eye lashes, so clearly they are doing something right :). Also, i recently was in an accident and could not leave my house, so I contacted Beauty Brows to see if one of their team can come to my apartment and do my eyelashes ( i live a few blocks away)- the owner contacted me immediately and was so considerate of the situation and sent over Baina. So thank you Baina for coming to my home!! Baina always does such an amazing job and she is supper gentle, so my eyes are never irritated after! read more

Review only for Eyebrow Threading and Facial. I come here every 2 weeks to get my eyebrows threaded. Every girl that has done them has done an excellent job. Keeps the fullness and shapes nicely with a little trim at the end. I've gotten a few of the acne facials here and they are oh so relaxing! Just crossed my one year anniversary of only coming to Beauty Brows for my eyelashes. Bina is a carrying and personable lashes technician. I give 5 stars for the brows. So clean and nice and done super quickly. Highly recommend. I give 1 star for the eyelashes. I did the $25 set and I will say that the length was nice but the setting of them were done so terribly that they itched my eyelids. They were scraping close to my eye that I ended up losing about 40 eyelashes per eye.. when the lashes fell out. I've had them done professionally before but never lost so many lashes. This shouldn't have happened and I'm hoping they grow back quickly. As for hygiene I give it 2 stars. Please note that the lady did not wear gloves and I had to remind her to use hand sanitizer. Other than that she was super friendly. read more

Well...I don't usually leave reviews but this place is certainly worth it. If your looking for a place to get your lashes done...you have found it ! Bina is the absolute best. They just became my go to for the brows. Clean, pleasant service and the threading lady (Rosy) delivered what I requested. Relatively new to the Astoria Ditmars stop, Beauty Brows opened during the second half of last year. Their eyebrow threading is $5 and the same goes for upper lip. I finally stopped by the other day when I mustered up the courage to try a new place. After saying a little prayer to the eyebrow deity, I requested that my eyebrows be cleaned up but kept thick. When Rosy was done, I was relieved and very satisfied. Yes, they do have a rewards card where the 10th is free. Albeit, it is a common practice among threading businesses. read more

Beauty Brows is a hidden gem in Astoria. Each one of the employees is kind, respectful and very talented. I go here for waxing, threading and my eyelash extension. Bina is SO talented. She takes her time when she does my lashes and I always get tons of compliments! Definitely go here if you are looking for any extensions or threading! read more

DO NOT go to Priya. I've been getting my brows threaded for the past 15 years and this is by far the worst technician I have ever had. I specifically said I want my brows cleaned and NOT to make them thin. I literally stepped out of the chair with 2 pieces of strings as eyebrows. I've been going to this place for a year now and generally been happy with their service. I didn't see my usual technician so I went to Priya with the expectation that the talent would be equally as trained. BIG MISTAKE. Would still recommend this place but never this technician. read more

I keep coming for great eyebrow threading. Sumi is my favorite. I find that she gives me the best shape for my face & makes everything look full, natural & put together. The lady takes her time because, unfortunately, she doesn't know what she's doing. :/ I could tell she kept trying to pull my eyebrow hairs and wasn't getting them. For $5 eyebrow threading, I've been to a good number of places that are faster, more efficient, and better at shaping brows. My brows are uneven and also with no shape, but she helped to clean up the more obvious areas. They have a card where if you go 9 times your 10th eyebrow threading is free. Looks like a lot of specials going on with a recent opening, but I wouldn't go back. read more

**disclaimer*** i should have known better than to come here for this service. i bought a groupon for one set of eyelash extensions. when i called to make the appointment the lady sounded annoyed that i bought a groupon and asked me questions like "when did you buy it? how much did you pay?" and then proceeded to tell me "next time don't buy a groupon just come to us and we give you same price" (whatever that means). i should have know right there not to go. it took about an hour and a half, everything seemed fine during the process but later than night my lash line was very sore. it hurt to sleep on my pillow and was tender to the touch. i gave it two days and couldn't take it so i went in to get them removed. the lady who removed them was very aggressive, kept pushing her finger into my eyes which pushed lashes inside and causes it to burn and turn red. it was very uncomfortable and unsanitary. these people are not professionals. they are good for eyebrows and that's about it. they kept saying my eyes are sensitive - they are not. the application was clearly done incorrectly and the removal was even worse. then she had the nerve to tell me she charges $10.00 for removal. i was appalled that after i paid money for a service that lasted but two days she had the nerve to ask for money for a removal. i did not give her the money. do not go here please!!!!! read more
