I've been coming here pretty consistently for the last 6 years. I initially did not like this place that much until a newer lady (never got her name, just knew by face) joined in 2018 and started doing my brows, and I was so amazed by her carefulness and gentleness that I had a hard time being sent to the other ladies working there and would even queue up for as long as 30+ min so she could thread my brows! I even had a hard time going to other threading salons because she was so good. She left a few months ago and every time that I come here now and get a different lady, I'm literally just on the edge of my seat with lots of anxiety that they don't hate me and mess up my brows because I had a strong preference for my threader. They turn out fine most of the time, but I experience redness from the pressure they put on with the thread and constantly working on the same spot. It's a hit-or-miss place and it always hit when my favorite threader worked on me but now it's literally a gamble between hit or miss when I get thrown to the first available lady. Still, can't beat the $5 price for decent threading and they probably don't have any competition for that price point.

I came here on a whim as I walked past but soo much regret. Originally wanted to get my eyebrow threaded but forgot I already prepaid for an eyebrow threading card elsewhere so I switched to a manicure because I hate doing my own nails. Chose my colour and sat down.. the lady who did my nails did not want to do nails and you could tell. Whenever I walk into a nail salon, the host is very friendly, engages with you and talks to you about your day. Nope... not a single word out of this lady. She was a bit aggressive when she was filing my nails.. kinda pulled my hand like a mom pulling her kid to come this way. Like... you're in the service industry, what... Filing was not straight.. you can see that from my picture. I asked her to fix it because I could've done it myself if I wanted something so imperfect but I think she was annoyed.. she did cut my nails, filed, buffed, apply cuticle oil, cut my cuticle and gave me a small hand massage. The lady I had was excellent, the first lady that was free did not seem like she wanted to take me, which was odd, but then the lady I ended up having was such a refreshing surprise after my initial experience. Yes they do 2 facials at a time but they only move back and forth while you steam or while you lay with your finishing mask. They don't stop working on you to work on someone else. I don't mind this since it's probably how they keep their prices down. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of time, product and work they do. They…read moreadvertise that the facials are an hour and a half long but they don't mention that it's that long because they do two clients at the same time. While one person is getting something down, the other person waits then vise versa. This is how they schedule them (t's NOT because an employee didn't show up or they tried to fit another person in). A couple came in after us and they were also told that they perform facials 2 at a time. Both beds are right next to each other in what can only be described as a wide hallway (people have to walk through to get to the back). She started on me first before my nephew arrived and was brought in for his treatment. While I was getting extractions, he waited under the vapor (for longer than anyone should). While he was getting extractions, I was left waiting with a mask on. My nephew is a teenager with hormonal acne so I knew I was going to have to wait a long time before she would finish with me. After about 15-20 minutes, I used the excuse that I needed to use the bathroom to get up. While in the bathroom I noticed that the band she used to pull my hair back was stained. I can't confirm what the stains were but I have an idea of what it could be. I would have never seen it if it weren't for the fact that I got up to use the bathroom. When I returned, I watched her do extractions on my nephew for a few minutes. She used a tool I didn't recognize (it looked like a razor with a point at the end). Never once did she ask him if he was okay or he needed a break or anything at all. After waiting another 10-15 minutes, I finally told her I had to leave and she put my nephew under the vapor again while she took off the mask and finished my facial. My nephew was there for a total of TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Again, it's one thing if the 1.5-2.5 hours were all focused on you, but it's not. Half the time you're waiting for your turn. There were other things I had issues with but I think this is enough for one review.
