I don't know how there are so many good reviews of this spot. $60 for lunch for the three of us and it was a really long wait but ironically I was the one who most wanted to go and it was really inedible (haven't ever met a bad tomato soup / grilled cheese sandwich until now). The cheese in the grilled cheese wasn't melted and really oddly stringy with pieces not melted but sadly the tomato soup was so overly sweet that couldn't finish either. It was super busy so I probably just ordered a really off option but there are so many other great spots in this building and wish I had gone to another one instead. They have kiosks to order and make the orders pretty fresh. More of a grab and go place for sure. Great lunch spot in SLU - came in on the weekend when they weren't busy, and they kindly upsized one of our sandwiches for free! Plenty of seating in the food hall that it's located in, and the bathrooms are very clean. The KBBQ banh mi with chicken was delicious, though a bit untraditional, with caramelized onions and jalapeño peppers. The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy, which was a nice surprise since chicken is usually pretty dry at sandwich places. I recommend avoiding peak lunch hours it took almost 25 minutes to get my sandwich. I had the Korean BBQ Bulgogi Beef, which was good, but not something I'd wait that long for. There's no clear system for order priority; it doesn't seem to matter whether you order online, at the counter kiosk everything goes into one queue. I was hoping kiosk orders would be faster, but that wasn't the case. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4, but due to the slow service, I'd give the experience a 3. I went here to redeem my Doordash credits. Observation: prices on DD are $5-6 more so about a 50% markup, but still a good deal because I got a buy one get one free offer. Anyways, I got the KBBQ banh mi with bulgogi and obviously it is not the real deal. Very fusion, which is fine, but the sandwich is not the best. They really skimped on ingredients - the bulgogi beef was only very few slices on the sandwich, but they add a decent amount of veggies (cabbage, caramelized onions, etc). I was not full after a 7 inch banh mi. Overall, this place is good, but I feel that they skimp on ingredients, which is the biggest complaint I have. Also, order ahead not on DoorDash because the wait for a sandwich can be upwards of 30 minutes during peak lunch hours. Wow wow wow. Food, service, and space are all 10/10. It's nestled in the new Fairview Market Hall. Inside was decked out with Christmas decorations and perfect for photo ops! My friend recommended this place to try on a Thursday lunchtime. It was a tad busy during the lunch rush (~ noon) but calmed down as time went on. We didn't know we could order online in advance so we will be sure to order ahead next time. I got the tuna sandwich and my friend got the banh mi. They were both very good sandwhiches but the chicken club is just a classic (but good club), we both really enjoyed the banh mi though. After reading the reviews on Bleuwiches, I drove 20 minutes to try it. I ordered the Banh Mi and Chicken Katsu. Bang Mi - the bread and the meat are fantastic, and the aioli or, better yet, the sauce complements the meat well, although it tastes industrialized (a combination of different off-the-shelf sauces). This sandwich can be a five-star sandwich if they add pickle veggies (carrot, cucumber, and daikon) and use fresh jalapenos instead of pickle. It lacked the freshness of a traditional Bahn Mi. Chicken Katsu was delicious, and the coleslaw was tasty. Hold on to the sauce a bit and offer the option to get more on the side. Brioche bread is ok, just commercial off the shelf since it gets soggy after a few minutes. We will try it again in the future (in a few months). The seating area is gorgeous, with a bar, coffee shop, donuts, etc. It is set up like a beer garden! You will enjoy it, guarantee! read more

There was another person who had placed an order before me, and there was only one person working. It took over 15 minutes for me to get my one sandwich. But! The sandwich itself was great! But it was such a nice day we walked a couple of blocks with our sandwich and sat by the lake. We got a full size banh mi that was cut in half. The sad part is that there is only 2 workers here operating both sushi and sandwich place that are directly from each other. We ordered a sandwich and that took about 10 minutes but we also ordered the sushi the same time and it took 40 minutes to come. While the worker was finishing off orders on the sandwich side another customer was complaining about how there's no one on the sushi side and he's been waiting a long time. Although there was 2 workers only one was running the show. I didn't like how the sandwich was kind of thrown at me, then went across to make sushi. I would have totally understood that the establishment is understaffed. If they were nice or had better attitude I would have had no problem. Every time I eat here (either ordering online or in person) something is missing or late or wrong. They are so nice about fixing it. The customer service isn't the problem.
