Lemon Croissant & Nitro London Fog
    Dana S.

I came here because I wanted to try the nitro London fog and this was the only Blenz location in Vancouver offering it. I came on a Sunday morning and it was quiet and very calm. The barista was very nice. The shop was clean and the seating was very comfortable, and it's pretty spacious. The nitro London fog lived up to my expectations. The flavour was super smooth and just sweet enough and the velvety mouthfeel was pleasant and really unique. I unfortunately only learned after I got my drink that this location doesn't have glasses for dine-in drinks and only has plastic cups; I'm used to the Blenz I usually go to having them and didn't think to check, otherwise I would've given them my mug. I also got a lemon croissant to go with my drink. The barista asked if I wanted it heated up, and I said yes, but regretted it. I think it was microwaved, and croissants lose their flakiness if you microwave them for too long, which is what happened here. The texture was not there. It was also a little sweet for my taste, more dessert-y than what I was hoping for, so I'm not sure if I would try it again without the reheating. I think it could have been good though if you can tolerate very sweet things...

Blenz Coffee is my reliable go to for chain coffee when I'm in Vancouver, BC. Kind of akin to Tim Hortons for doughnuts per The Homie. Now before y'all get yer panties in a bunch because I usually promote going indie, support the mom and pop holes in the wall...sometimes they're closed already for the business day. Back to Blenz Coffee, they tend to be pleasant, consistent, longer business hours, and carry a variety of coffee and baked goods that do the job and reasonable on the wallet. Enough said.

Coffe a homeless guy spilt infront of the store

I went here with my family and first they got the sizes wrong then they took extra money and we had to wait for 20 mins for a single drink at 9 pm with a almost empty store and some of my family members noticed they got a medium drink and they didn't even switch it they just acted like the switched it and said it was large. Them clowns be making me pay for some sugar water and the matcha drink was only 1 gram of powder with 99% milk under the matcha powder which was of course was 8 dollars don't forget tax and the girl with the pink hair that works here u should be fired for how bad of a costumer service you have

Nice and clean place. Blue coffee was delicious when it's hot. It's taste too sweet when it's cold. BCAA MEMBERS gets free size upgrade here !! Nice bonus! BCAA

Delicious iced hibiscus tea, great staff, and comfy seating. Enjoyed our stop here, including the soft jazz playing.

Also, go early so that you have more bun options - they do sell out of certain flavors the later it gets. Luckily we were still able to get the two that we wanted which were black sesame and a custard buns. They were not only super cute, but they were really delicious as well. The fillings were very strong in flavor and did not disappoint. There was enough searing when I went. Next time I will have to try their coconut drinks and desserts!

So technically this was dessert #3 over the course of not even an hour. The good thing is that this was not an overwhelmingly sweet or heavy dessert. It really went down with the same ease as just a regular mango would have, but it just had some extra (mostly natural) stuff. I'd happily enjoy this deliciousness on a regular basis if I lived in Vancouver. There were a ton of menu items that looked appealing, so I'm might even be their best customer.

Food: 3/3 Service: 1/1…read moreAmbiabce: 1/1 A delightful spot that serves great food. I've had both their sweet and savoury waffles and both are top-notch. The space is lovely and the staff friendly. It's a very good hangout spot for a casual meal or snack, and they serve some basic alcoholic drinks as well to pair with food. Overall very solid, would recommend trying at least once!

Waffles for Dinner? Always a Good Idea!…read more I've been wanting to try Nero Belgian Waffle Bar for brunch forever, but the queue is always so long. I finally decided to pop in for dinner instead and waffles for dinner turned out to be the ultimate move! We had such an amazing meal from start to finish. First off, huge shoutout to them for not charging extra for alternative milk! My Tiramisu Latte with almond milk was absolute perfection. Here is what we ordered: -The French Waffle ($19): Their unique take on French toast using an egg-washed Brussels waffle, topped with rich pistachio cream, fresh berries, real whipped cream, and a delicious pistachio crumble. - Lemon Ricotta Liege Waffle ($19): Hubby's choice! A denser Liege waffle loaded with fresh raspberries, ricotta, tangy lemon curd, raspberry coulis, white chocolate, and pistachio crumble. Beyond the incredible waffles, the service was outstanding. The staff was so warm, friendly, and amazing with kids, they even let the little ones pick out a small treat from a sweet gift basket. . Such a sweet and warm feels dining in here. Fantastic food, thoughtful touches, and wonderful service. We will definitely be back!

Well it seems ownership has changed and the new owner doesn't give two craps about prior customers, honoring discounts, replying back timely or being more friendly? Was playing email tag and finally submitted the 39 flavors and didn't hear back until after another week and then told they won't deliver only in morning when they know our reservation was for 730pm and they're open until 9? I even replied back and nothing. We own and run several business in lower mainland and in United States and this customer service from Unni Pastries is trash. At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!

I'm from the Bay Area and we have our fair share of Japanese grocery stores (shout out to Niiya in Japantown in San Francisco) but I was very excited to see the selection here. Definitely came across items I've never seen before like a Takoyaki flavored Ramune. It was extremely discounted just fyi probably for good reason. They even had Japanese canned drinks stored hot like in Japan! The take away Japanese desserts also looked good. This place is right on Robson street so a great place to grab a snack, drink, pick me up while shopping. Prices seemed reasonable. One caveat is that it can get busy in here and the aisles are small so it felt a little crowded but that's sort of like Japan as well lol so not a big deal for me. Added to the ambience.
