Deville Coffee was one of my favorite coffee shops I tried during my visit to Vancouver. Presumably, specialty lattes are an "American" thing because I had a really hard time finding them at other coffee shops in town. Deville offered an Ube Matcha, which they were willing to make as an espresso latte instead and I thought it was great! We also tried a Nutella latte that was perfectly balanced and not too sweet without compromising on flavor. The service was great and there were lots of seating options! Very close proximity to Canada place but didn't have a super touristy vibe. I would definitely return to Deville Coffee! read more

My experience at Deville was so good. The barista let me customize the flavour of foam on my drink and helped me find a place to sit. They were very responsive to any request and you could tell customer service was their first priority. The cafe itself was very clean, and felt great to sit down for a pause in my busy day read more

Beautiful shop. One of several locations in downtown Vancouver. Nice calming music and awesome view. Good amount of seating but could get quite tight. Really good coffee. Baristas are alright. Some seem more alert than others, especially early in the morning. Rewards program takes a while to get a free drink but at least they have one. Code is required for the restroom. read more

Quick stop for drinks. Place is very nice. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Restrooms requires codes. Plenty of options of coffee, tea, pastries. We were tempted to eat, but we were about to head to dinner. I got: Earl Grey lemonade- summer special. Very refreshing. It doesn't taste artificial at all. The guy is super friendly. Will definitely come back again to try other stuff. read more

I was walking around downtown Vancouver and decided to stop in for a pick me up. After studying the menu, I opted for an iced chai latte with almond milk. I know many coffee shops are still behind on not charging for alternative milks, but it's still annoying. With my milk swap, the price was that of your average expensive downtown coffee shop. My drink was up within a minute and I enjoyed a sample of some kind of apple pastry while I waited. The pastry was delicious, bursting with apple flavor. My chai started really great, with a kicked up spice (my preference), smoothed out by the almond milk. However, about half way through I lost the chai flavor which was disappointing. The shop was pretty busy but there is ample is indoor and outdoor seating available. I however decided to take my drink to go. read more

Stopped by here with my mother on a break from some Christmas shopping. It was ... ok. The coffee was great, but it was just so full. And it wasn't full of people just drinking their coffee. It was full of people taking up entire tables with their entire laptop setups like it's some kind of WeWork office space, and they just sit there for hours with a single coffee so there's not really anywhere for proper customers to sit. They should probably put a time limit on seating if you're going to just get a drip coffee and set up a whole work station. They said, if I was grabbing coffee to go it would be ok, as the Dirty Chai Latte was not too bad. However there are 4 Starbucks near by which I very much prefer read more

Came here for the first time today. Nice, bright and spacious atmosphere with lots of seating inside and outside. Its such a convenient location right across from waterfront station. Decent coffee too! Great selection of baked goods, I got the mini banana loaf and my friend got the croissant. Both were really nice. Staff were friendly, I would definitely come back here. read more

This is a really nice coffee place. By W Cordova and Seymore St. Right in front of the Canadian Pacific Railway Station. Big bright windows, nice light ambient music, comfortable seating! I love the layout! Patio seating with high roof. Plenty of things to do in the area afterwards. I just ordered my usual black coffee , medium dark roast. Good balance taste. Not lingering finish in the mouth. There's only two sizes is my only complaint 16oz and 10 oz. Not really a "complaint", a preference. 10 oz is too small and 16 oz is too much coffee for me. Great service, conveniently located across from our hotel so decided to grab morning coffee here. They don't have substitute milk non fat. Their lattes were very watered down. Location is good and coffee place has a great feel to it and it is nicely set up but taste of coffee sadly didn't live up to the expectations. read more

This is a nice place to meet up with coworkers, potential clients, and other work-related business. This place has opportunities to be a take-out coffee place or a sit-down and enjoy your time off in-between your daily schedule. I ordered the Vanilla Latte and enjoyed my time completing work while relaxing in a nice setting. If you want to enjoy a cup of coffee or small baked treat, go before the lunch rush (any time before 10AM). Average service and average menu, but I would rate it highly because they still live up to the expectations they set for themselves. read more

I used to go here Tuesdays for two hours while our housekeeper does her thing. I'd order iced coffee and hang out on the couch. Today I was interrupted as I finished my drink and asked if I want anything else.. but this woman's tone was like; if you're not going to buy anything else you need to leave.. I asked if there was a seating limit and she said an hour because they're busy. Everyone I've talked to says a limit on seating, in a cafe, is wild work. There were plenty of places for people to sit as well! Part of me thinks I was profiled because I pulled up on a skateboard with backpack but they're literally Burberry and Dior.. and even if they weren't--it doesn't matter. I definitely won't with this place again :( read more

Super aesthetic coffee shop just across from Waterfront skytrain station. Flat white $6 - kinda pricey, especially when I added oat milk (+$1 extra? I forgot. Lactose intolerant problems oh well) Not a huge fan of their coffee roast/flavour profile, but that's just a personal preference. read more

Deville is across from the train station, had good coffee and strong wifi. When you get off the train from the airport, this is where you want to hangout to get your bearing and recoup your momentum. The only downside is the Gen Z crowd spending hours occupying all the seats over one measly cup of coffee. Just tell them to Slide Over and make some room for you. read more

Coffee is not my favorite, but the location is cute and the service is top tier. Nutella latte add shot with oatmilk and caramel latte add shot with oatmilk. I do like how they have Lee's donuts which is a vancouver staple. They are more on the cakey side. I enjoyed the donut. The lattes were not great, but they were not horrible. Such an aesthetic coffee shop right across the street from Waterfront station! I stopped here to grab a coffee before heading towards Canada Place and was very pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the space is. There was lots of seating and a lot of natural light and plants. The staff were really nice and the place wasn't too busy. They even had some donut samples which tasted very delicious. I ordered a latte and didn't have time to stay and sit but hopefully next time! read more

This is is my favourite cafe in all of Vancouver. Why? 1) the ambiance. The cafe has high ceilings, wood finished accents, and expansive windows that boast a beautiful view of waterfront station. 2) seating. They have stool seats facing waterfront (my favorite work spot). Relaxed chairs for convo. Tables for more serious work. And a couch for lounging. Oh and outside seating too. 3) the menu. This place has nutella latte. Need I say more? And their food items. Ive tried their avo toast and various croissants. Actually Im pretty sure Ive had more than that. And theyre all pretty good. 4) they have a washroom. Yes this matters esp when many places dont offer one. 5) the staff is friendly. Dont forget to tip! read more

This has become my go-to spot after long lectures at nearby Harbour Centre. It's a bit more expensive than other coffee shops in the area, but quality is definitely there. I really enjoyed the latte and mini brioche loaf (with honey butter and maldon salt!) I had during my last visit. And the service was excellent too. The atmosphere manages to feel airy/grand and cozy/down-to-earth at the same time. It's a great study spot...if you can get a seat. read more

This is definitely another aesthetic cafe in Vancouver! Not only is the cafe itself beautiful, but the cups as well. The space is spacious and it would be a great spot for studying, catching up with friends, etc. The location is really convenient as well. I tried the Nutella Latte with oat milk, which I assume was ~$1 extra? I didn't see a dairy alternative charge on the menu, and didn't think to ask. The latte was deliciously rich, but I paid a little over $8 for a 10 oz. drink. Ouch! read more

3.5 stars, based on 3 stars for matcha latte and 4 stars for berry scone. Matcha latte (with oat milk) was weak, not much matcha flavor and rather mostly of just steamed milk. Berry scone was good and hit the spot for me. read more

Downtown's newest cafe! Super accessible (right across the road from Waterfront Station) The interior and aesthetics of the coffee shop is very lovely! definitely a spot to get work done or have a coffee chat! I recommend this place for tasty hot drinks and food! Friendly staff and a super modern decor! I ordered: * Chocolate Gnache Latte (Recommend) * Ham & Cheese Scroll Love the chocolate ganache latte, a nice rich deep chocolate. Not to sweet with a nutty coffee taste. Would definitely get again! The ham and cheese scroll is pretty much like a croissant but in a cinnamon roll shape! Love the idea, super tasty and the girl at the till was helpful with recommendations. Only thing I'd say it is quite oily, I probably wouldn't order it again just because how greasy it was, tasty but my whole plate hands were just all covered in grease. I came to Deville Coffee to pick up some coffee as I had to be up early for an event downtown. The interior was nicely decorated with a fair amount of seating for patrons. I ended up getting a chai latte and a cappuccino for R. I loved the chai latte as it was just the right amount of spice and R quite enjoyed his cappuccino. Aesthetically pleasing cafe however the coffee is way overpriced. 10oz latte for $5.70 + tip option. They don't have 12oz coffee. Save your $ and find another cafe for better value as Vancouver have ample great cafes around its city. read more

I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!

We pick up as they don't deliver. Their fried chicken is Fritou and they originate from Quebec in the late 90's. Duffin's is the only place that served Fritou fried chicken and they are really good. I always order the 3 pieces (1 wing, 1 drum & 1 thigh with fries or rice) for $9.39. You can ask for a mix of spicy or original but think the spicy is better and not too hot. I usually can't finish and take the rest home. Open 24 hours and considered the best deal in town for the portion of food you get. The decor is not fancy more like a hole-in-the-wall but that is what I love about it! They are here to impress you with the food and not the decor. The colourful orange and green bench seatings were originally from their shop on Main and 33rd so I love seeing them as it's reminded me of their good old days when you see motorcycles mixed with Mercedes cars in their parking lot.

Our server suggested that, because it was happy hour, a pitcher would be cheaper and save us money. I specifically asked how many ounces the pitcher was and was told 32 oz, which sounded reasonable since we planned to get 15 oz beers. When the pitcher arrived, it was clearly 64 oz. The server apologized for the mistake, and I let it go, thinking we didn't have to drink it all. However, when the bill arrived, the price didn't match the quote. We were charged $25, not the $20 we were originally told when the 64-oz pitcher showed up, with the explanation that the regular price was $35 and that we had "saved" money. In the end, we were served twice the beer we wanted and paid twice what we intended, based on information that kept changing. Whether this was incompetence or intentional, it left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. The food and atmosphere really were great -- but the experience was overshadowed by feeling manipulated. Enjoy the food and beer, but pay close attention to what the wait staff tells you and what ends up on the bill.

Service was standard, nothing memorable one way or the other. I ordered the warm lobster roll and a prawn cocktail. Unfortunately, the lobster roll was a letdown. It wasn't very warm, the lobster itself didn't have much flavor, tasted off and the whole sandwich was just kind of dry. Thank goodness I also ordered the prawn cocktail because it saved the meal. It wasn't anything fancy, but the prawns were a good size and gave me something I actually halfway enjoyed. Overall, I didn't have the experience I was looking forward to.
