Stopped by here with my mother on a break from some Christmas shopping. It was ... ok. The coffee was great, but it was just so full. And it wasn't full of people just drinking their coffee. It was full of people taking up entire tables with their entire laptop setups like it's some kind of WeWork office space, and they just sit there for hours with a single coffee so there's not really anywhere for proper customers to sit. They should probably put a time limit on seating if you're going to just get a drip coffee and set up a whole work station. They said, if I was grabbing coffee to go it would be ok, as the Dirty Chai Latte was not too bad. However there are 4 Starbucks near by which I very much prefer

This is a really nice coffee place. By W Cordova and Seymore St. Right in front of the Canadian Pacific Railway Station. Big bright windows, nice light ambient music, comfortable seating! I love the layout! Patio seating with high roof. Plenty of things to do in the area afterwards. I just ordered my usual black coffee , medium dark roast. Good balance taste. Not lingering finish in the mouth. There's only two sizes is my only complaint 16oz and 10 oz. Not really a "complaint", a preference. 10 oz is too small and 16 oz is too much coffee for me. Staff are nice. I'd hang out here again!

Great place to grab a cup of coffee and sandwich. The staff are super friendly and fast. There are plenty of little tables where you can sit to work or just enjoy people watching.

Great service, conveniently located across from our hotel so decided to grab morning coffee here. They don't have substitute milk non fat. Their lattes were very watered down. Location is good and coffee place has a great feel to it and it is nicely set up but taste of coffee sadly didn't live up to the expectations.

This is a nice place to meet up with coworkers, potential clients, and other work-related business. This place has opportunities to be a take-out coffee place or a sit-down and enjoy your time off in-between your daily schedule. I ordered the Vanilla Latte and enjoyed my time completing work while relaxing in a nice setting. If you want to enjoy a cup of coffee or small baked treat, go before the lunch rush (any time before 10AM). Average service and average menu, but I would rate it highly because they still live up to the expectations they set for themselves.

I used to go here Tuesdays for two hours while our housekeeper does her thing. I'd order iced coffee and hang out on the couch. Today I was interrupted as I finished my drink and asked if I want anything else.. but this woman's tone was like; if you're not going to buy anything else you need to leave.. I asked if there was a seating limit and she said an hour because they're busy. Everyone I've talked to says a limit on seating, in a cafe, is wild work. There were plenty of places for people to sit as well! Part of me thinks I was profiled because I pulled up on a skateboard with backpack but they're literally Burberry and Dior.. and even if they weren't--it doesn't matter. I definitely won't with this place again :(

Ordered an iced matcha latte and it was good! Service was quick and the workers were nice. The place is cute and a great place to sit and relax before continuing to walk around the city.

This is relatively a new spot in Gastown! I ordered the iced matcha latte with oat milk and ended up coming back twice in one day it was so good! Inside is modern with quite a few tables available to work from!

Didn't get their coffee but got a cookie. All of their pastries looked super good. It was a super cute place!

Super aesthetic coffee shop just across from Waterfront skytrain station. Flat white $6 - kinda pricey, especially when I added oat milk (+$1 extra? I forgot. Lactose intolerant problems oh well) Not a huge fan of their coffee roast/flavour profile, but that's just a personal preference.

The absolute best Nutella coffee I've ever had ! Toast was a little on the oily side, and restrooms seemed like they hadn't been cleaned that day. Would go back again just for the coffee.

Almond croissant and latte

Coffee was very good. The almond croissant was a bit too sweet and slightly hard but otherwise very flaky and high quality.

Chocolate Ganache Latte
Sravya B.

Light and airy atmosphere. Service was kind and offered to remake my drink when I forgot to order it decaf. I loved the decadence of the chocolate ganache smoothie.

Their peppermint latte with almond milk was creamy, perfectly sweetened, and extra hot! Minus 1 star because it was a bit pricey.

THEIR BFAST SANDWICH!!!!!…read more Mortadella supreme 10/10 - favorite cheesy, savory, eggy perfection - croissant was also perfect flakiness - sauce is immaculate - TikTok did not lie about this one Bodega 8/10 - potato bread was thicccc, not rly my fav - okay sandwich, nothing too special in terms of flavor but it's solid - sandwich fell apart super fast, sauce was okay with this combo - still good tho Hojicha latte 6/10 - not much hojicha flavor, very milky - not rly sweet at all I wish I could've asked for more sugar Matcha latte 7/10 - matcha quality is meh - very milk forward as well - not rly sweet also but was okay in this drink versus the hojicha Overall, service was immaculate. 10/10 the cashier was so nice and was so patient. We got our food to go but we were waiting for our uber for a long time so we ate in the store. She noticed that and gave us napkins. I felt so bad we should've just ate there at that point but they didn't make us feel unwelcome at all. Our uber came after we ate everything :( the vibes inside this coffee shop is perfect for a cute lil coffee date or friendly catch up but def not a study/work here type of coffee shop. Would come back!! Maybe to try their coffees instead. That was my fault.

Iced matcha: (4/5) Pretty decent flavor, it's unsweetened but had good flavor with the syrup that was added. Breakfast sandwich: (5/5) OMG. It was delicious. The texture, the flavor, everything was perfect. The egg was cooked to perfection. Rice pudding cruffin: (4/5) Delicious texture, moist and flavorful in the inside. Pistachio: (5/5) Best pistachio pastry I've ever had. I could eat these all day. They are rich in flavor but delicious!

One thing noticeable about this restaurant is the lacking of plates. They used majority of their plates to serve the food on. However the food were served as finger foods and we were expected to hold our food in our hand. Somewhat strange. They also ran out of glasses during the party. The bartender couldn't even keep up with our drinks. Anyways other than the above. The event was a great event. I got the opportunity to try all four of their mocktails: - Blueberry Basil Lemonade - Mango Lavender Lemonade - Minty-Berry Sour - Pear Lavender Sour All their drinks were very fancy prepared and my favorite are the Minty-Berry Sour and the Blueberry Basil Lemonade. I also found that there is some inconsistency in the glass they serve it out of. The food was delicious as mentioned before. My favorite out of their finger foods were the grill cheese brisket. OMG that was really good. The other memorable items are the porkbelly and fried chicken. I think the fried chicken is one of their popular items on the menu served during brunch. The cheesecake at the end I got was very soft but flavorful. The cheeseburger slider was really good too. Overall I really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere and decor of the place was nice. The restaurant is very small. Because we were over 100 people, there was a wait for the 3 stalls in the bathroom. There was not enough tables and chairs for everyone to sit. I think the restaurant can comfortably maybe accommodate around 40 or 50 guests max. I will definitely be back again someday to try their brunch menu.

My boyfriend lined up at 9:30am for a 10am opening and there were already 25 people ahead of him. By the time the store opened, the line was over two blocks long. I heard the line up was up to 2 hours long later that day so to say that Angus T is a hit is a bit of an understatement. This is a cute location where the emphasis is on sweet and savoury croissants but they offer Danish, cinnamon buns, tea, and coffee options. We ordered the limited offering of the strawberry creme croissant plus got a regular croissant, onion jam & bacon, pistachio & raspberry, and ham & cheese. All of these croissants were DELICIOUS and the regular croissant brings me memories of Paris! Yes, they are pricey but at around $1.50 to $2.50 more than a croissant from Starbucks a block away, it is well worth it as a treat. I look forward to tasting more flavours and taking friends here to catch up over a delicious croissant and hot cup of tea. The River District neighbourhood needed a cute café like this and so glad they are finally open. Pro tip: if enjoying the treats at home, reheat the croissants in low heat. They taste better warm!
