Blaze Pizza is not a place I would recommend. I ordered my food and my order was wrong they refused to fix my order when they refused to fix my order Blaze pizza then refused a refund . I call my credit card company and disputed the charge in which they handled the issue and I was given back my money . When I walked in, there was a bit of confusion about how to go about ordering food. Once I figured that out, I order the white top pizza. Unfortunately, the white top pizza wasn't a meatless option and I missed on the menu where it said it included bacon. I don't eat bacon, so when I asked the employees if I could exchange it for a new one without bacon they were pretty courteous and understanding about it. The pizza was a little extra crispy at the bottom from being cooked maybe a minute too long, but overall it was pretty good. I like the added arugula too it. I never thought arugula would be good on pizza but it was. I also was not too crazy about the Caesar salad dressing, but I did enjoy their tiny croutons that weren't extra toasted and hard like most. read more

In this world of "fast casual pizza factories", a person can get a little overwhelmed. Will they have classic crusts or flatbread like crusts? Are there low carb or gluten free options? Will they have all the toppings I like? Salad options? Do I get a pre-fab pizza or build my own? I'm usually a MOD girl. I had never been to Blaze, and was excited to have it come to my home town-in a brand new strip mall across 140 from Town Mall. I went with my guy this weekend. And I love it!!!!! There are several dough options including cauliflower, keto, gluten free. And the pre-selected menu pizzas are nice, but we love to customize and that's no problem here. The friendly pizza makers had no problem building our pizzas exactly as we requested. And they were fast, and moved the line along. The crusts were being pressed continually while we were there. And yes, they have my kalamata olives. Blaze's original crust is larger and more home style than MOD ( and with that more fattening). Our pizzas were yummy. The dining area is clean and modern with industrial decor. There is an outside patio as well. Maybe they'll get some umbrellas out there. Joe was amazing!!! Came in for a couple pizzas for my hungry family and asked for every little thing you can imagine, from paper plates, cups with ice, even balloons for the kids. While waiting I boarded him with all sorts of questions and never once felt like I was getting on his nerves. By the way, the pizza is out of this world!! My first experience with Blaze was great They have specialty pizzas you can order or you can build your own. The build your own was right up my alley! You can get as many toppings as you want without having to pay per topping. Works for me because I like more then one cheese and almost every veggie they have The salad works in the same fashion, 1 flat price and build your salad When you go make sure you try the Blood Orange Lemonade, deliciousness I can't complete this review without speaking on the excellence of the staff. They are very welcoming and patient because if you're not familiar with the Blaze they walk you through everything. Before asking about our order, we went up to the person working there, and he first threatened us of not paying since he didn't have a receipt. we showed him the email confirming not only our order, but that it was paid in full. He didn't even glance at our phone screen before telling us he didn't have a receipt so he couldn't make our order. The only solution that was given to us was to call the customer service line, which did not work. we later called our bank, got a refund and will not be coming back. A disappointing second visit to this location. They were understaffed and it took no less than 20 minutes for the five of us to get through the line. We were clearly waiting for on-line orders to be fulfilled. For example, while we stood there, they were preparing an order for a waiting Door Dash employee. There were only 3 staff members working, which is too few for pressing the dough, preparing the pizzas, cooking the pizzas, and ringing up the cash register. Because of the lack of attention that could be given to the cooking pizzas, one of them came out burnt and my teenager son ate less than half of it. The other pizzas were fine, but certainly not exceptional. We felt the time we spent at the restaurant was too long and with half or less of the tables occupied by patrons, they were clearly understaffed. In the 25 minutes it took to order and receive our pizzas, we may have been eating just as fast at a sit down pizza restaurant. Then the order came out wrong and the other guy argued with me that I must have placed it wrong. Then they decided to make me what I asked for (entirely different type of pizza). Chalky hard crust that seems more like something you would have ordered from a restaurant supply. Not a fan of the sauce either. How can you fault cheese when they didn't make it? I never would've stopped here, but it was in the same shopping center as taco Loco ( which was terrible) And I was dying to try taco Loco, so I figured I'd get my kids some pizza. This place desperately needs good management. It took nearly 45 minutes from ordering time until the order was presumably ready. When we arrived to pick up - chaos inside. 45 minute wait. People grabbing boxes, waiting in fury for their orders. One poor guy stood there cutting pizzas, slapping them into boxes, and trying to sort out who was to get what. I could taste the 900 degree stone hearth hot fired difference even on a simple pepperoni pizza. I do love pizza! There is a great variety of toppings including pineapple, artichokes, red onion, olives, green peppers and hot peppers etc. (the spiciest!). This place needs to get it together. The first time we ordered, we went to pick up a large pizza. They were out of large pizza boxes. After 10 minutes of trying to figure out what to do, someone finally had the idea to cut the pizza in half and put it into two smaller boxes. Tonight we ordered two 11 inch pizzas and a entree size salad. When we got there to pick up, one pizza was done. My husband let them know there was another pizza and salad on the order. They were clueless and then proceeded to make the second pizza. They brought out the rest of our order but we were given a small salad because they were out of the larger containers. So, we got half the salad we paid for. We asked them about it and again they had no idea and it wasn't worth our time anymore. I dont blame the people who work there.
