Then there were no available tables (there were 2 available tables when we first arrived) and had to wait til girl, who was originally on the phone came to bus and clean tables. We had already sat at one table and instead of cleaning that table first, she cleans an empty table first. This employee is totally clueless about customer service. The staff at this location seem angry and the sub rolls tasted like old bread and not fresh. Poorly managed location. We traveled to Westminster from Harford county with our girls FCA basketball team to play a game at Carrol Christian. After the game we decided to come to this location with 18 people. The staff from the moment we arrived was very attentive to making sure we were well taken care of. Moving tables and getting everything we would need in place. Even after food was out they checked in multiple times by different members of the staff. All I can say as a business owner is great training. Overall Westminster Genova's To Go has been somewhat above average, with a few misses. Cheese steak sandwich has hit the spot every time I've gotten it. Their in-house made sub rolls have a nice outer crust with soft center that soaks up all those amazing steak juices. Usually get with fries, which are average but a must for me with a cheese steak. Sausage Parmesan sub has been hit and miss. Same great in-house made sub rolls. When it is cooked correctly, its great. However, I've gotten it on more than one occasion where the sausage was waaay overcooked, including once it was like a charcoal briquet. Like their pizza. Usually get pepperoni and cheese. Sauce is an on point traditional sauce. Been cooked correctly ever time. Really hits the spot when you want a traditional slice of thin crust. Plus, they have a 20" pizza. Italian sub was good but nothing special. Wings are large. Been cooked correctly ever time. Hot wings needed more sauce both times I got them. Old Bay wings have been hit and miss on having enough seasoning. Absolutely LOVE their Garlic Parmesan Wings. Not only do I lick my fingers, but scraping the container with the celery to get every last bit of sauce. This was our first time trying this place. Ordered on the website and there was no indication of how long it would take.. we are a 15 min drive so headed that way. Used to love this place. I don't know what happened. I'm done with the cheesesteaks here. I order double meat because they already skimp on the meat portions. I ordered double meat yesterday and it wasn't even close to what a normal sub would have in it. Their meat portions do not add up with their bread. My sub last night was more of a salad sub with a meat topping. Your best bet is just buy the sub rolls from here and make your own cheesesteak at home. Several different types of full sized sub sandwiches, such as chicken parm, meatball park, cheese steak, etc. A few had to be tailored to suit food allergies. Great pizza horrible customer service from the owner/manager. I order pizza from Genova two to three times a month. I had a free pizza but my 10 stamps were on 7 different cards. The owner looked at me and in a very serious tone and said "are you kidding me?" At first I thought he was joking but then he went on and continued to say "you know these cost money". Extremely rude. Well sir 1 I will never come back so you will not have to worry about your pink cards 2 when all of my friends and family come in town we always put a big order in.
