I went to blaze pizza today with verification code and debit charge in hand expecting to pick up my meal. I have a limited amount of lunch time hence ordering 30 minutes before which to my surprise the order had not been fulfilled. But this is not the reason for the bad review. Mistakes happen and that's fine. The reason for the review is due to unwarranted hostility and combativeness. I worked in customer service and understand issues occur but the last thing I desire is having my day ruined by a disgruntled employee. I really love Blazes pizza. Unfortunately, there seems to be a big disconnect if you want to have your pizza delivered. We ordered a delivery via the app, and after an hour, still no pizza. No way to reach anyone in the restaurant to find out what happened; so I went to see for myself. They told me, "We don't deliver the pizza, you have to order it through 'Door Dash'". Well, the Blaze app CHARGED ME A $5.00 Delivery fee-but they don't set up the delivery?!? Unfortunately, I couldn't understand what they were trying convey due to language barrier. I had to insist on new pizzas and they made them. Even the sign in this store does not clearly say anything about ordering delivery through door dash. I wonder how many times they have gotten away with this? Then OVER TWO HOURS LATER, Door Dash calls and says that they received confirmation that I picked up the pizza myself...WTF, so much for technology. Staff was disinterested at helping and when I asked to speak to a manager the staff "yelled" back to another staff and then just made the same statement. Did not even pass the phone off. I ordered from the app. When I arrived 20 min later they still hadn't started my pizza. I had to wait an additional 20min. I verified what the toppings were and they said yeah yeah they got it. 15 min later my pizza was ready and I left because I was in a hurry. When I got to my destination and opened it up there were three toppings missing. Talk about disappointment. I was too far away to take it back. Needless to say I will not use the Mobil order again. I have been there before and the pizza was great although it's like pulling teeth to get them to put enough cheese on it. They will but it takes a lot if asking. Great management here! I had ordered the margarita style pizza on cauliflower crust and it came out so bad :( the crust was so cold and soggy couldn't even eat it pat a few bites. BUT I went back in to ask if it was possible to have them remake it, the manager himself (Abdul I believe) came out and took care of remaking it for me. Very thoughtful and greatly appreciated! Every time I come around 10 or 10:30 (they close at 11 on Fridays) the employees seem very irritated and unfriendly. They also make it a point to complain out loud about having people come in 30 minutes before closing. I would give them a 5 Star, but I felt the girl at the register was rude. I went to pay with my check card and couldn't find my ID. I told her I forgot and do I have another method of payment??? Of course not. All she had to say was we ID if it is over a certain amount. Since I didn't have my ID on me at least tell me next please have your ID. Okay, I love Blaze Pizza but this particular location has an issue that I see over and over and today was just very disgusting. Every time I go to this location there is a girl that's just hanging out. I'm not sure if she's an employee or just a friend of the employees. I will just talk about what I saw tonight. She was (and is always) seated at the tall tables in front of the sodas and spread out on this table was a Panda Express cup, a big Gulp cup, Mc Donald's coffee cup, a Jack n the Box food box and a food wrapper of some other sort. Over and over again she was going over to and at times partially behind the counter talking to the employees that were doing their job. Then I saw one of the female employees come and get a cell phone off the table and take it back to her workstation with her this employee was not wearing gloves as she handled the phone and the food. While she had the phone I watched the girl at the table picking her nose multiple times and then go back to the counter and get said cell phone back and make a call. The food was alright, about same as usual, this post is on customer service. Very very poor. First an last time I will walk into our blaze pizza. The 3 people in front of me,including myself was getting handed the wrong pizzas. There was this young man working an in the middle of gathering my order he he just walked away an someone else took over, I get it may have been your "break" all, that's all you had to say.. rude. This lady in front of me walked out with 3 pizza that were meant for "In store" FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Keep in mind the place was not busy. Mayb 6 tables had 2 ppl who were already eating. I ordered two pizzas on line. Information said the pizza would be ready in 18-23 minutes. It took us about 20 minutes to arrive. I went up to the register and waited for a moment, but no one acknowledged me. I then thought that I had to go through the line (which took some time) to pick up my pizza. When I received my pizza I mentioned that the salad was warm and the employee said to me that the pizza had been sitting there for awhile (as if I was late picking it up-not very friendly). After bringing the pizza home we found that the pizza dough was tough and tasted like cardboard. It appeared to me that the employees were more interested in "getting people through the line" than making sure that they greeted their customer and made sure that the customer had a great Friday night pizza. The establishment was clean, the line to make a pizza well organized, and the salads very good. Maybe another chance as the first pizza we purchased there some time ago was actually quite good. read more
