Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the hummus plate, cheesy garlic bread, bbq chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the Hawaiian pizza. The food was super good, everything tasted great. The pizza crust had a nice char. The pepperoni is a little on the spicier side when it comes to pepperoni, but it's really good. The Hawaiian pizza was a total sleeper hit. Cool vibes throughout the restaurant lots of space and aircraft decor. Would recommend to go, just check the hours. read more

Another one of my discoveries whilst visiting my hometown is Hangar 7. It sounds like a place where you'd think you would see a bunch of military members hanging out but the feel i get is a mellow yuppie hang out wine and beer bar. This place is great - I loved the food and the beer selection; didn't get around to the wines but those looked good as well. I would give them 5 stars if not for their bizarre operating hours. We went on a Friday and wanted to come back today (Saturday), but I discovered they are only open on third days and Fridays form 5-8pm. How can you have a restaurant/bar that is only open for 3 hours a day, 2 days a week?? read more

I've been wanting to try Hangar 7 for so long, and I'm really glad I finally did. I only stopped by for take out, but there's lots of outdoor seating available complete with lots of gentle lighting and plenty of heat lamps. I ordered the Pear & Goat cheese 12" Neapolitan pizza (w/o bacon). I had this all to myself, but it would be wonderful to share with someone, perhaps along with a bottle of wine from their locally sourced collection. I would be remiss if I didn't mention splendid doughiness of this pizza dough! I'm not sure how, but the breadiness of the crust was top tier to say the least. read more

I finally got a chance to get in here and it was really nice inside. Their beer selection is maybe the best in town. You don't need to have 50 different beers available, just about 10 that are all good to great. The only problem is the place isn't open more than 2 days a week. Wish I could go here regularly to lounge, drink beer, read books and maybe write a little. It's perfect for that. read more

Deep respect for this family-run restaurant and their staff. Some of the friendliest people in Lompoc for sure. A must-visit when entertaining out of town guests. Food's great, plus great beer to boot. But the wine... They chill the red wine. I'm not sure if this is becoming industry standard, but the last thing you want is an ice cold glass of red wine if you want to actually taste any of the nuances. Yes, they are only open on Thursday and Friday Evenings. However, you will immediately understand when you take in the whole experience! We ordered a charcuterie board with a few glasses of wine.My wife ate the Margherita Pizza and I ate the Pepperoni. Absolutely delicious! Owners are friendly and professional! Such an amazing place. Good food, great service, relaxing aesthetic. It was like taking a step back in time with the nostalgic photos and antique chandelier hanging over the bar. After looking for somewhere to dine while visiting family, I came across this hidden gem and it didn't disappoint. We had pizza, frozen rose, stuffed mushrooms and a charcuterie. Visited on a Friday eve and so glad I did! The relaxed atmosphere is just what I needed after a long week. Comfortable seating and just right lighting is very warm and inviting. It was easy to lose track of how long we had stayed! The staff and owners were attentive and helpful in their suggestions for food and drink (tasters are always a nice touch!). We enjoyed a bit of it all- stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, pizza, and BOTH dessert offerings. The food was served hot and fresh, which is always a plus! We both agreed dessert was AMAZING! The blueberry in the cheesecake was flavorful without being overly sweet or sticky. The flourless chocolate cake was amazingly moist and just the right amount of sweet- it also paired well with the wine! I appreciate the offering of local brews and wines and look forward to returning. Lompoc definitely needs more places like this! After a bad experience at Solvang Brewing Company, we decided to stop by Hangar 7 and I'm glad we did. The food was great as well as the ambience. There are small games on each table and a live band. Not quiet but not loud either. Good place to hang out with your friends for a night out. Where to even begin!! My girlfriend and I recently went to hanger 7 during our first trip to Lompoc and had an amazing experience from start to finish... First off, they recently redid the interior and it has such a cool and modern vibe with Space/rocket themed elements - keeping in trend with the local SpaceX location. Nice touch! Also tons of fun board games all around to play around with while sipping on drinks and eating. More importantly, the food and drinks - everything we had was on point and delicious. The stuff mushrooms were an excellent start and we ended up getting a second pizza because of how good the first one was. Chris took care of us while there and made sure we were happy and that everything was coming out well, we were impressed. Great local beer and wine selection, and even a frozen wine machine! Lompoc's little piece of heaven. I'm a local and this town isn't that great BUT when I come here I don't even feel like I'm in Lompoc. The atmosphere in this place is unlike any wine bar I have been too, I find myself traveling out of town a lot for night activities but hangar 7 is by far my favorite place to hang. I came for the wine but now I continuously come back for the Neapolitan pizza and spicy candied bacon. This spot is family owned and well cared for.
