A very unique space. Awesome space theming and many cool display pieces throughout the venue, including a helmet signed by Elon Musk himself. Good solution of beer and wine, and some good appetizers. "Welcome to Mars" is the floor greeting as you step into (the) space, and it's not wrong. What can I say? This place is spectacular. A family owned business with a Mountain View from their lovely outdoor patio. They have really done such a wonderful job with Covid regulations here. Ordered a salad which was so overdressed and sweet-really need to understand that having a drink a something to eat is for adults and not children with a sweet tooth. The caprese salad was not tradisional but ok and with a little work could be ok. They were not busy and the wait was over 30 minutes for two salads. Cool, fun place to come relax, and have a drink or two! The staff is super friendly and the owners are great. I had the opportunity to check out this cool new wine bar when I was visiting the Lompoc area. Hangar 7 has such a cool vibe to it! From the decor to the deliberate videos on the tv - this place will not disappoint! And I haven't even mentioned the food yet! I ate the spicy bacon and the stuffed mushrooms. Honestly if I could eat these two menu items every day until I die, I would die a happy lady! Delicious! The wine list is impressive and the beer selection is spot on! Ok... so the Hangar 7 is a great new joint here in Lompoc, and a great addition I might add. The wine selection is fantastic. The food is fresh, creative and on point. And the Peanut Butter Milk Stout is like having a party in your mouth. The wait staff are all amazing. But I'll give a special shout to Rayleen and Joclyn!!! So Elon Musk rented out this place before and that night I couldn't get in. Decided to go back and try again. It was a Friday and as an owner, manager, or bartender you should expect that it would be busy. It was ridiculous! They ran out of stuffed mushrooms and it took them forever to tell us that. It took two hours to get our pizza. They ran out of tasty frosé. They comped our drinks but overall terrible experience. read more

We were given seats next to where the kitchen and the bathroom was, it felt like a hot sauna in that place and on top of that, we were seated at a child's table for a 5 year old. We were not even acknowledge for 30 minutes. We finally ordered our food which we only ordered salads. We notice everyone else's food being served to them except us. 45 minutes went by and we still had not receive our food! SERIOUSLY.....45 minutes just to slap some lettuce and croutons on a plate. So after 50 minutes and still NO salad, we decided to cancel our order and leave! They have the most HORRIBLE customer service ever & I will never go back there ever again!! All the staff was really friendly and helped each other and us. The food was tasty and we were excited to find somewhere fun and lively with good ambiance. We got a Cesar salad, artichoke toast things and brushetta.All a good amount of food for tapas and my husband was excited they had peanut butter beer. In these trying times, stress seems everywhere. Hangar 7 is such a relief and the perfect setting to relax. The transformation of the patio is warm, inviting, and sheltered from the Lompoc winds. Their menu expansion is great for light fare or evening meal. Love their choices of beverages as well. Staff are so helpful and if they don't have a beer you might crave, they'll go above and beyond to find that one to try and enjoy. Reservations are easy but definitely recommended. read more

My husband and I visited Hangar 7 on Saturday evening. We went fairly early around 6ish. It was pretty quiet when we first entered, but that gave us a chance to soak in our surroundings. The decor is very fun with lots of eclectic pieces. The chandeliers over the bar area are amazingly beautiful. The seating is inviting and yet spacious, almost like sitting in someones living room. They have a nice selection of local beers and wines. I opted for a hard blackberry cider which was really wonderful. The food was terrific! We had the Margarita flat bread pizza, stuffed mushrooms, and meatball sliders. While the mushrooms were wonderful I think my favorite was the meatball sliders. The meatballs were so well spiced and moist that I know any Italian Grandma would be happy with them. The pizza was great too. Crispy crust with the perfect amount of toppings. Pricing is very reasonable also. As we were getting ready to head out the band (Bender and Jack) started. They sounded great and had we not been exhausted from the rest of our day we would have stayed longer to enjoy them. The music was just the right volume to be able to converse and yet enjoy what was being played. This is a great addition to Lompoc. I can't wait for our next visit. read more
