Another one of my discoveries whilst visiting my hometown is Hangar 7. It sounds like a place where you'd think you would see a bunch of military members hanging out but the feel i get is a mellow yuppie hang out wine and beer bar. I was looking for live jazz band playing. Ha. All in all the service was very friendly and with limited bites and drinks it's a place to just chill at.

This place is great - I loved the food and the beer selection; didn't get around to the wines but those looked good as well. I would give them 5 stars if not for their bizarre operating hours. We went on a Friday and wanted to come back today (Saturday), but I discovered they are only open on third days and Fridays form 5-8pm. How can you have a restaurant/bar that is only open for 3 hours a day, 2 days a week??

this got to be the best pizza I ever had, the ambience is nice and chill and the decor is speakeasy like. the pizza is an incredible italian style pizza with the best tasting homemade tomato sauce, the staff is friendly and the pizza took a while but it's definitely worth the wait!

The best apps and pizza! Solid drink selection with a cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or just when you're hungry!!!!!

Food was great! Environment is beautiful! 100% recommend. Pizza was fantastic and service was amazing.

My husband and I have been here a few times in the last month or so and we really enjoy it! The two ladies who work there recognized us the second time we came in and made us feel very welcomed! The pizza and Cesar salad are phenomenal! Great place for date night, with many different areas for seating the ambiance is fantastic!

I've been wanting to try Hangar 7 for so long, and I'm really glad I finally did. I only stopped by for take out, but there's lots of outdoor seating available complete with lots of gentle lighting and plenty of heat lamps. I ordered the Pear & Goat cheese 12" Neapolitan pizza (w/o bacon). I had this all to myself, but it would be wonderful to share with someone, perhaps along with a bottle of wine from their locally sourced collection. I would be remiss if I didn't mention splendid doughiness of this pizza dough! I'm not sure how, but the breadiness of the crust was top tier to say the least.

Best wine bar in town. Such amazing food and staff. If you like beer and wine, this is the place to Stop. Also. Best bbq chicken pizza in town.

We drove over from Solvang on state highway 246, which was nice because we got to avoid the rush hour traffic and construction on 101. The round trip is not bad. The service was excellent. Iliana our server was very nice and attentive. We got the chicken and meatball soup and the pan seared salmon. The soup was just ok, not bad, but not super exciting. The salmon was excellent. It is normally served with hollandaise sauce, spinach, and mushroom over mashed potatoes. We subbed the potatoes for more veggies. The veggies were well seasoned, salmon coked well, and sauce was a nice compliment. Their Diet Coke cups were huge. They only have one toilet and someone was in there a super long time when we wanted to leave, so plan wisely if you need to go. We had to hold it all the way home. The lot has adequate parking. The bar is only beer and wine. The restaurant is not super visible coming from the east, so listen to your map app when to turn. We had a good experience and would come back when in the area again. Recommend you give them a try.

It's an interesting setup, as there's a separate space for Pico and a space for Lumen Wines, however we were told that the wine tastings are done in the restaurant. The ambiance is upscale-casual, the service is excellent (thanks Kali for getting my joke and making me laugh on our last visit), and the food is wonderfully delicious. They have main floor seating, a balcony, and a back patio, so request your spot when making a reservation. DRINKS: They have a full bar and the cocktails we've tried were very well made. The wine list is primarily Lumen wines, but there are some other local and old-world wines available, and some alcohol-free cocktails and beer too. On our first visit, we tried a Lumen wine tasting flight consisting of a '21 Chardonnay, a '21 Pinot Noir, and a '21 Grenache, and a couple extra pours, like the Escence orange wine and the "Hey Ginger" Pet Nat (check out my separate review for Lumen Wines). FOOD: We've eaten something on all three visits and everything we've tried has been very good. The menu is seasonal, so it's ever changing. The appetizers/entrées we've tried are the Wedge Salad, Kabocha Salad, Grilled Carrots, Avocado Crudo, Channel Island Squid, Steak Tartare, Pico Burger, and Rabbit Carnitas Tostadas. The food is well-seasoned and prepared as ordered. The kitchen seems to work well with the wait staff to coordinate when courses are delivered, so you're not getting everything at once. Pico is one of our favorite spots in the Los Alamos/Los Olivos/Buellton area and well worth the drive if you're not staying right nearby. I highly recommend you check them out.

We sat in a lovely waiting area with couches and they brought over water for us before we were seated. Ambience: 5/5 Inside, the cozy warm ambience made the experience feel even more elevated. We loved the decor and the layout of the restaurant, especially the upstairs seating area (where we sat) overlooking the dining room. It felt a little more private which we loved as we got to people watch. When we thought the inside was romantic, the outside seating was like a scene out of a movie. Hope to sit out there next time! Service: 5/5 Our server was very attentive and charismatic, joining in on our jokes, checking on us promptly, giving us recommendations, and ultimately adding onto our experience. The busser was quick and timely, he always made sure our table was clean and our water was full. Food took a little while to come out, which was expected, but after everything we ate, it was completely worth the wait. Food: 5/5 I could probably eat ten of the avocado crudo and the mushroom and madeira. The crudo completely melts in your mouth with the most addicting sauce, and the puff pastries lingered in my mind the entire meal. We had the burrata which was fresh and tasty, the warm french loaf which shocked me how compelling a loaf of bread can be, and finally were graced by the agnolotti which had the perfect amount of lemon that paired so perfectly with the mushroom sauce. Keep in mind, every plate was wiped clean of its sauce with the bread because they were all too good and we couldn't get enough. Also could have had endless "For he's a jolly good fennel" (love the name) mocktale. Highly recommend!

That misleading listing is what caused me to book in the first place. When I discovered the error, I called to cancel. I asked three times whether a refund would be approved. Three times I was told yes, the manager would take care of it the next day. Don't worry, it's fine. So I trusted them. The next morning: denied. No refund. No explanation. No accountability. Because I trusted their word, I lost the window to just bite the bullet and make the hour drive to and from family. I had to book a second hotel out of pocket, stretching my budget in a way that was genuinely costly. All because a staff member couldn't simply say "I don't know" instead of giving me false assurances to get off the phone. This isn't a miscommunication. It's a lack of integrity. Do not rely on anything you're told verbally here and think twice before booking at all.
