Loved this place! I'm not from here and wanted to taste local wines. Amy one of the owners was AMAZING! She just made me feel as welcome as the locals. The environment is great, loved the vibe and everyone was so friendly. I gave Amy small idea of what I like and she was spot on with her selections. I can't wait to go back on my next business trip out here. And the charcuterie board was beautiful and delicious.

A good way to start the holiday weekend!

Vino et Amicci is a great locals wine bar that has struggled during the pandemic. They are hanging in there like many other hospitality places. Food trucks are there on the weekends and you do have to sit outside, but it's a cool place and some tasty Central Ca wines and beers. I highly recommend showing up when the doors open to get a table and enjoy the atmosphere and people. Everyone makes you feel at home.

Business response to my google review. Very professional.

This place is a mess. More concerned with pushing their backwards political views than delivering a satisfying customer experience. Inside the bar you'll find "Let's go Brandon" merch...see the photo I took inside.

This is a cute little place inside and out to grab a glass of wine. The food truck outside is super convenient as well.

I'm not gonna lie I wanted to give this place four stars for one reason and one reason only: hella old people there. But I have to give it five because those old people know how to turn up. This place was absolutely popping on a Friday night. They had live music and the vibes were amazing even tho we were the youngest people in there by like 20 years (no shade). Also it seems to be military owned which I love to see. They had so many great wines that you can't get at a store and it's very informal. None of that "hints of this" or "undertones of that" bullshit that you might get at a regular wine bar. Overall great experience and will be going back a lot.

Great little wine bar with live music on Friday nights. They even have bark chocolate on the menu. Win for me. :)

Came to Old Orcutt on a Wednesday afternoon for a beer at the brewery next door and ended up here.

That misleading listing is what caused me to book in the first place. When I discovered the error, I called to cancel. I asked three times whether a refund would be approved. Three times I was told yes, the manager would take care of it the next day. Don't worry, it's fine. So I trusted them. The next morning: denied. No refund. No explanation. No accountability. Because I trusted their word, I lost the window to just bite the bullet and make the hour drive to and from family. I had to book a second hotel out of pocket, stretching my budget in a way that was genuinely costly. All because a staff member couldn't simply say "I don't know" instead of giving me false assurances to get off the phone. This isn't a miscommunication. It's a lack of integrity. Do not rely on anything you're told verbally here and think twice before booking at all.

Breakfast was mediocre as the pastries were stale. Best part of breakfast was the strawberries. Only 1 person staff at the front desk. It was likely the best hotel in the town of Orcutt. Oh. My. Gaaaaahhhhhh…read more This place is AAAAAHHHHMAZING. We stopped here for dinner on our way up to Cambria and what a great find! We got the fig jam and prosciutto (fig, arugula, prosciutto and gorgonzola with a balsamic dressing) pizza and it was so so so good. Our crust was a bit too overcooked but it was still magnificent. We'll definitely stop by again if we're driving thru Orcutt.

Should've ordered through phone because when I arrived for my supposed pick up time, I was told they just saw my order come through & wont be ready for another 15 minutes. Ended up waiting another 30 minutes. 1hr total. However, I would've let it passed if I was greeted and dealt with more pleasantly. Wasn't greeted, wasn't asked if I was looking to dine in or picking up, all without a smile. Just a RBF from one the short, female hostess. As well as the other female waitresses who didn't bother to check on my order after I was told it would be ready; but I was approached by a younger gentleman who did have the audacity to nicely ask and check on my order. And eventually when my order was ready, the hostess was eager to see me leave with my order so I wouldn't be roaming the entrance. Wouldn't have if they would've had my order on time. Wasn't even crowded. All in all, pizza wasn't good nor bad. Don't think i'd come back.

This was our first visit to this rustic tasting room, and we had a nice experience. It was a Friday, right after opening, and we had the whole place to ourselves. The service was friendly, and my wife and I shared a traditional and custom flight. We thought that the wines were decent, some better suited to our palates than others, but well-made, nonetheless. We were fortunate to meet and speak with the owner who happened to be bringing in supplies and got a little more detail on the wines, than we did from our "winerista". He also mentioned that his niece opened a winery in Los Olivos (Story of Soil), which focused on wine styles a little out of our wheelhouse, but we thought we'd give that a try as well, and it turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. Costa De Oro is a nice place with wine varietals for everyone's tastes. I recommend you stop in and give them a try when you're passing through the area.
