I only came to naughty oak to get my daughter a root beer yesterday afternoon and the older blonde lady yelled at us to get out because I happened to be holding a beer from the place next door. Their sign says do not bring wine from next door. They should make it say do not bring beer OR wine from next door, especially if their staff is rudely yelling at paying customers to leave over it. I also recommend they train their staff how to properly handle a dispute with a customer. I spent alot of money at this place over the years, but thanks to the older blonde lady with the attitude problem, they will not be getting any business from me or my people anymore.

If you're ever in Old Orcutt I'd recommend this business even to just stop in and grab a snack or beverage. They stock some local items which is always appreciated. The interior is pleasant and redone. When I go in at night I have witnessed a thorough cleaning of the floors inclusive of pulling wine and bottles from the rack to dust and white down. That is incredibly impressive for a small locally owned shop.

Such a fun little family adventure!…read more We decided to visit when we saw that the apricots were in season and you could pick your own. I had also been wanting to check out the distillery ever since I discovered them at a wine festival, so this was the perfect excuse to finally make the trip. The little farm is SO cute! They provide food so you can feed the pigs, turtle, and goats, which our kids absolutely loved. Everyone was so welcoming, and the property itself was beautiful and really nice to walk around. After visiting the animals, we walked out to the apricot trees to pick our allowed 5 pounds. The apricots were AMAZING! So fresh, juicy, and sweet. My son loved them so much that he still asks when we can go back for more. He had such a great time picking them and eating them! Of course, we couldn't visit without trying the distillery too. We ordered a sampler of their liqueurs, which was really good, and I ended up ordering a cocktail afterward that was AMAZING. This was such a great experience for both the kids and adults. Between feeding the animals, picking fresh apricots, walking around the property, and enjoying the distillery, there was something for everyone. We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend visiting, especially when the apricots are in season

We all enjoyed our tastings, but naturally, a few fan favorites leaned heavily toward the liqueurs. The apricot was sweet summer sunshine in a glass, the coffee the most delightfully rich wake up call, the quince a surprising cozy, fall-essence in a glass, and my personal fave, the Victus Amaro - a magical immediate transportive experience straight to Italy. Each tasting is $25 for 3, including a cocktail of your choice. Sarah, the owner, was a font of info as she shared how the magical process of distillation occurs to become the taster in hand and wonderful cocktail in your glass. It was wonderful to hear that fruit is grown and harvested on property. It's apparent to see how passionate and excited she was to share their creations with us. Really, each taste is a story, where we got the happily ever after ending in a glass. The outdoor area was relaxing, and we enjoyed our drinks chatting away surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. And, pigs! And goats! And veggies to toss their way! Thanks so much for such a truly delightful experience!

I love that I can go in the store and ask questions about certain bottles and price and have a great conversation. I never feel pressured to buy higher priced higher allocated bottles. Infact the opposite Andy will give his honest opinion and recommend a different often times cheaper and easier Bottle to find. It's a refreshing experience that I can go in have a conversation and not really be expected to buy. Because of this I have been a return customer and will continue to support a local business with majority of my purchases. Mark & Ian (proprietors) were on vacation, but their friend Carlos was manning the tasting room and was a fantastic host.
