Love this place. I guess it's considered fast food since you order and they call your name when it's ready. BUT it's more like a chipotle where they at least prepare your meal in front of you with fresh ingredients so can't complain. We were super hungry and didn't want to deal with a sit down restaurant and all the waiting it would entail so we decided to give this place a try. It tasted great the "build your own" which is their most popular option allows you to hence build your own pizza from scratch: you pick the dough (gluten free is available too), the sauce, cheese, toppings. It's really great they have so many options to pick from and you can really load up they don't skimp at all. Within minutes we received our well done pizzas and they did not disappoint. Absolutely in love. I've been to other locations for Blaze, but this was my first time visiting this location; this location is hidden, but I'm glad they opened one in the Galleria. The service is as good as it gets and very quick. A build your own pizzza on regular dough is $7.95 with whatever toppings you like. The pizza goes into the oven, which then comes out in about five to seven minutes depending on how crowded the restaurant is at the time. When I was a kid my parents would say to the family, where do you want to go out to eat? I would say Hot Dogs, and the rest of the family would say pizza. I haven't been a big pizza person most of my life but Blaze, well they are great. I get to make pizza my way even down to the sauce. I was diagnosed with Acid reflux and I don't eat tomatoes most of the time so pizza would normally be out the window but not with Blaze. They have a cream sauce that is really yummy and then I pile on the veggies which there is a wide variety of. I am not big on meat but they have a wide variety of it for those that do. I do like having them sprinkle on Applewood bacon. They are very friendly (well I did have one guy that I think was just having a bad day so I won't fault him because well we all have bad days) and helpful. (offering to take my tray or do I need a to go box) They have no problem going back and adding more cheese on top at the end of my order. I love that. The price is great 7.75 for build your own and it is just the right size. I love the smores heated up. I liked it so much that i went two days in a row. Oh and if you like Pesto sauce, they have it but you have to ask for it, same with BBQ sauce. There food is yummy and fresh, the staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are just right. I was here before I started my no fast food diet. I love how you can build you own pizza. I would get the bbq pizza and add a bunch of stuff(at no extra charge). The pizza is thin which I love and it's ready in about ten mins. Also it's cooked in a huge stove in front of you really cool. This place is like subway for pizza. Its awesome. You get to choose how you want your pizza. Either custom build or one of the choices on the menu. I usually custom build my pizza, they have a lot of different toppings to add. Theres always a line, but the employees are so fast and so caring that it goes by quick. The price is great. Got to the line and there were two people in front of us, the girl plating the dough was going as slowly as humanly possible. She gets my dough on the line and Ashley looks at it, looks at me, and then walks off to see what she can do other than sauce and top my pizza, I cannot stress enough how disappointing that was. The disappointing feeling lingered just enough to see the first girl come plate my second order and then sauce my pizza so poorly I had to ask the tall bearded white guy to spread it a little better due to the bald spots on my shit. As all this is going on Ashley is doing everything other than pizzas, this girl is everywhere but where she needs to be, including talking to her fellow employees, shitty sauce girl was at least up front doing her job and the other employees were talking but still working, which was still acceptable. I never had a problem with Blaze before. I am a regular customer, but through my experience in this particular blaze, my little brother had choked on his pizza in the restaurant. He coughed for about a minute straight where he was about to spit and throw up in there. The problem was the amount of cheese that was put in his pizza. It was also very hot, and the bulk of cheese was stuck throat. I mentioned this to the cashier just to make it clear what the problem was.
