I've been here a couple times with friends, once for happy hour and another during normal hours and both were really nice experiences. Their happy hour has some pretty good deals on drinks and apps. It's pretty easy to get caught up in it and before you know it, you are three drinks and 3 apps deep, lol. Their food is really good overall. I had the Tipsy Cuban and it was pretty dang good. My daughter got the kids chicken tenders and fries and they were pretty good as well. The service is always friendly and accomadating. This is a nice place to grab a drink and some food. they have a nice outdoor seating area as well. I will definitely be back.

New Menu

I used to love Blatt, but since their recent menu changes, they got rid of my favorite menu items including hand cut truffle fries , deviled eggs, garlicky green beans that were perfectly garlicky (now they have no veggies on the menu anymore), and the buffalo chacos. The only thing they kept that I would consider ordering was the chicken strips. However, they got rid of most of the sauces that went with it. The loss of the truffle fries were the biggest bummer. Their current fries tasted stale and dry... I do NOT recommend them if you're expecting their old fries. Overall, their menu was very simplified and doesn't really have the appeal that it used to. On a good note, their burgers are still pretty good... just don't get the side of fries.

Chicken & Prosciutto Scaloppini

Good flavor but skimpy portion size made it a disappointing experience. I ordered the Chicken Prosciutto Scallopini. I was really surprised with the serving size for $26 meal plus all the fees and tip! 4 oz of chicken, plus 2 stalks of broccolini and maybe 1/3 potato. I didn't see the prosciutto. It was slightly larger than a TV dinner.

Garlic Parmesan or Truffle Hand-Cut Fries

I've been here a few times and haven't found any entrees I was impressed with (as I'm usually a salad eater) but I loved their app selection! Truffle fries have a great garlic Parmesan flavor without being overpowering, and the pretzels were the perfect texture. You can't go wrong with Mac and cheese bites either! I'd definitely come back here, only for a good HH/beer spot.

Great beer selection including two non alcoholic

Food and service were on spot! We came in right before the dinner rush in a Friday night. The ambiance is relaxed and the staff is friendly. They have a shuffleboard that had a reserved sign on it and TV's playing a variety of sports. We enjoyed the food especially the potato salad that came with my burger! The only thing I would have preferred would be the meat on my husbands burger, it seemed a tad underdone and all the juices soaked the bottom bun after the first bite.

I've been here many times over the years but this is my first review! First off, parking can be hard to come by on a busy night. Once you're inside, its a very cool vibe, with old Rosenblatt decor and a bar with lots of beer taps in the middle. Always a great craft beer selection! Service is always very friendly and accommodating. I usually start with pretzel bites, served with cheese and mustard for dipping. This last visit, I tried a new dish, the Down South Pork, which was jalapeno corn bread waffles served open face with bbq pulled pork and coleslaw. It was delicious!! Even the side salad was great, made with butter lettuce and yummy ranch. Blatt will always be in our regular rotation!

Chicken & Waffles

So good!!!! The overall atmosphere was just chill and very enjoyable. They have a huge selection of beer which myself and fellow beer lovers can surely appreciate. Their menu is slightly limited in my opinion but what they do, they do well. The jalapeño waffle for the chicken and waffles was fantastic and such a unique flavor. This place is definitely worth a visit!

The food was amazing! The Mac and Cheese bites are breaded to perfection! Also the Mule was served quickly and with a smile

Tipsy Cuban Garlic Parmesan or Truffle Hand-Cut Fries

I would describe my experience as adequate. Service was pretty fast. My Kinkaider Blackberry wheat was ok, nothing special really. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't drink it again if there were other options to try. I ordered the "Tipsy Cuban" my buddy had the "Manhandler Mac" we had a pretty good laugh when we realized it was the exact same meal, one on mac and cheese and one on a pretzel bun served on a bed of cheese soup. The sandwich was warm with lots of flavor. I ordered garlic parm fries which were served cold with a side of ketchup. I was allowed to have some hot fries after a short wait, which were perfectly cooked and HEAVILY salted. My Buddy was less impressed by the pulled pork than I was; however, he said the Mac and cheese was surprisingly good. All in all we had a good time, but not sure I would make this a destination restaurant.

Extra dry Mac n cheese. The chicken was good.

Very basic and limited menu, but yet way over priced. I ordered a plain cheeseburger and fries and it was $18. Nothing special about it

We started with the Brusssels Sprouts and while it wasn't the largest serving, they were excellent with a balsamic and candied pecans adding to the tangy sweetness. Their caesars comes on a stalk of romaine, the crab rangoon is vertical, and the pizza is fantastic. The standalone location in Legacy had a cool vibe with great staff who were eager to assist you in any way they can (filling waters, asking if you need more drinks, anything taken away, etc). The Westroads/Flagship Commons spot had none of that charm and service. It is very much a food court vibe for the exact same price that you'd pay at the actual restaurant. When we visited during holiday shopping recently, there was maybe one table seated in their little dining area. We thought we'd save everyone a trip and order at the front, which it appeared you could do. We asked two girls behind the counter if we could just choose a table in their (basically completely empty) seating area to wait for our food. And they said that you're not allowed to sit in this area (even if it's completely empty) if you didn't sit down in that area to have a server take your order. I've never hear of such an asinine policy in my life. I'm paying the same amount (and tipping the same), but I'm not allowed to sit in your dining area because I saved someone a trip and order myself at the front counter? What in the absolute world?? So we took our food and ate it in the communal area of Flagship Commons, which I'm not above doing or anything - I was just very annoyed by the Blatt seating policy (if you couldn't tell yet!) The food was also not on par here than with their brick and mortar locations. Maybe because they don't have as large of a kitchen to make everything from scratch or something, but again - paying the same as at the physical location in Legacy for lesser quality food. Is there a convenience of having this version of Blatt right in the little food court at the mall? I guess, but it's not worth it to me after this experience.
