They gave me a repair estimate of $17,335.18 on October 15, which seemed reasonable, and I assumed work was being done. For over two months, I waited with no updates. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

Now as far as the work done, we brought in my son's 2003 Subaru because his car was hit in a parking lot, they gave us a very fair estimate. We brought the vehicle in the next day, they gave us a 2-3 day estimate time of the vehicle being ready. Car was ready when they said, the work done was way more than we could have hoped for, they left it brand new they even buffed out and fixed some spots on the bumper that weren't part of the accident! Great quality work, with honest service, what more can you ask for! Bring your vehicle in, you won't regret it. I will be recommending to all my friends & family!

The first estimate was that we would get our car back in two weeks. Then after that, it became every 3-5 days, with some times where they would never respond back. We finally got our car back about 6 weeks later with more problems. The fuse box was falling off and the man told me, "There's documentation that shows it was like that when it came in." I was floored...I didn't sign off on any documentation. The suggestion from the staff was to tape the cover back up with double sided tape. The rear window wiper was installed upside down (the wiper was cleaning the license plate instead of the window), the gear shifter was very sticky, and there was a part missing from the gear box. All damages were cosmetic on the rear end, so we're not sure what they were doing in the gear box to begin with. We asked them to replace the plug and after multiple times of inquiring when it would come in, we ended up just giving up. The guys who work here are really nice. They had our car for a long time and fixed a dent for us for free, but in this case I would have preferred professional competence over "really nice". It seems like they're more geared towards auto detail instead of auto collision.

I ended up here because my insurance, Geico, works with them. Felt good about that. So grateful they made my appt with Car Source Collision. Although, the damage didn't seem significant at first, it added up after everything was completed but that would have been the case at any other shop. After leaving my truck for repairs, the rental car company provided pick up from the shop. Unfortunately, I left my wallet at the shop (with lots of important info/cash/several credit cards) and Matt, personally delivered it to my location within minutes. So grateful he did that! Matt was pretty awesome throughout the entire process; nice, professional while explaining the process, providing estimated repair time, etc. The mechanics did a great job, my truck looked exactly like it did before the accident. Actually, it looked even better in and out, because they detailed my car too! Loved that! The insurance covered all the repairs but I would definitely use use this shop again, even if I had to pay out of pocket.

As I looked up Car Source Collision center, Mia S.'s 5 star review was more than enough to convince me to take my car here. And Im so grateful that I did! Andrew was amazing..explaining the process, keeping me posted on updates, and even graciously transporting me to/from the car rental place. But the absolute best part-my car repair looked fantastic!! Perhaps looked even better than prior to my fender bender :) Also, Car Source Collision Center was the most cleanest and stylish body shop Ive ever visited. Staff was nice, but lacked haste. Often times, I had to reach out for updates after being told by…read moretheir team that I'd be reached out to that day (or days prior). The wrong parts were ordered, further delaying progress. It took 3 weeks after receiving a quote for them to start working on the car. It remained at their shop for another ~5-6 weeks - and the work still was not completed/ fully drive-able. Body work performed looks good, but all work internal to the car either a) did not get completed or b) had to be redone by my mechanics (who I ultimately had the car sent to to get it right). They tried to outsource electrical tasks to another shop, but it was punted back 2 weeks later with no progress. For example, I was charged for a new battery by Paintmasters that had to be replaced weeks later. My mechanic shop suspects the electrical issues I experienced with the car (which did not exist prior to leaving it with Paintmasters) may have been created due to lack of careful handling of battery and other electrical components within the car while welding and other grounding-adjacent tasks were being performed. Who knows (which in itself, is a problem)? I don't like giving out bad ratings, but the extra work that I needed performed downstream to my car after getting it back from them was not cool at all - and significantly decreased the value of what I paid for. Regardless, I paid (quite a bit) for services that were unsatisfactory.
