Now as far as the work done, we brought in my son's 2003 Subaru because his car was hit in a parking lot, they gave us a very fair estimate. We brought the vehicle in the next day, they gave us a 2-3 day estimate time of the vehicle being ready. Car was ready when they said, the work done was way more than we could have hoped for, they left it brand new they even buffed out and fixed some spots on the bumper that weren't part of the accident! We got rear-ended in late January. NYLA was great because they were able to take in our car immediately. The longer we worked with them, the more disappointed we became. The first estimate was that we would get our car back in two weeks. Then after that, it became every 3-5 days, with some times where they would never respond back. We finally got our car back about 6 weeks later with more problems. The fuse box was falling off and the man told me, "There's documentation that shows it was like that when it came in." I was floored...I didn't sign off on any documentation. The suggestion from the staff was to tape the cover back up with double sided tape. The rear window wiper was installed upside down (the wiper was cleaning the license plate instead of the window), the gear shifter was very sticky, and there was a part missing from the gear box. All damages were cosmetic on the rear end, so we're not sure what they were doing in the gear box to begin with. We asked them to replace the plug and after multiple times of inquiring when it would come in, we ended up just giving up. The guys who work here are really nice. They had our car for a long time and fixed a dent for us for free, but in this case I would have preferred professional competence over "really nice". It seems like they're more geared towards auto detail instead of auto collision. read more

I shopped around for a paintless dent repair for a single light crease on my car. I've used PDR a couple of times before at another shop, got great prices and the work was excellent. That shop is no longer around so I went shopping. To my surprise the pricing model has changed. Know how much time and work was involved I got quotes of $450-$850 for a single dent. When I asked a couple of shops why the prices were like that I was told they all use an estimating system that was about as inflated as dealer book pricing. Because it was a crease NYLA gave me a quote, explained the difficulty in getting creases out like the other shops had mentioned but didn't pretend one crease would take four hours like other shops did. A couple explained the difficulty level of the job, mentioning the tail light would need to be removed. This amused me because my 2002 Mini Cooper S has a no tools access panel and removing the tail light takes 5 minutes if you're a slow mover. Not only was their quote more realistic, they repaired the entire quarter panel and I got them to detail the black roof on my car for far less than the dent alone at their competitors. I'd say the crease is 90+% removed, I can see it only if I'm looking for it, otherwise it and the few dings on the quarter on gone. They washed and vacuumed my car too. If I need PDR again I won't need to shop around. Great job. read more

Top notch service from start to finish! Finding NYLA Magic Recon on Yelp was the best decision I made! I was involved in a car accident in November 2022, where I was hit, resulting in a need for a collision shop! My insurance adjuster asked me to find a repair shop that I wanted to send my car to!! When I went to pick her up, I couldn't believe my eyes when I pulled into the parking lot. She looked better than new. At 14 years old, I am more than impressed with the work they performed. 2 days later, while loading the boat on the hitch, my neighbor caused a dent/crease on the tailgate. Came back to do a paint-less dent repair and they also found 2 other spots on the hood and door. They had me drop her off and picked her a few hours later. NOW she looks brand new! Checked around, was given a more reasonable quote, so I hopped skipped and jumped over to Nyla Magic Recon. In addition to the thermostat fix I asked that they clean up the car as well (Silver package or Gold, I forget.) Car was ready today, drove it home. Happy with what I got. I had a great interior detailing experience with NYLA! I was able to drop my Corolla off with out an appointment but I did call ahead to confirm they would have time. The cleaning itself did take 5 hours but they warned me ahead of time that it would take a while. My car, before the interior detailing, mainly had some dirt on the carpets and floor of the car, lots of dust and some stains on the seats. The photos below are from AFTER the detailing. Everything was spotless after the detailing. I thought my windows were open because they were so clean from the inside. The conditioning on the fake leather on the car steering wheel and dash board made everything shiny and fresh. The individual I talked with before and after the detailing was very friendly and explained everything they did when I came to pick up my car. He also gave me a plastic covering to sit on, on my car ride home since the seats were slightly damp (but overall everything seemed fairly dry). Most stains were removed but the individual said I could bring my car back to them if I notice any remaining stains after drying. Great customer service! I would highly recommend NYLA to any person and I will definitely return for any detailing needs. Price was reasonable and there were no hidden fees. The final price was the same as listed on their website. All workers were wearing masks and I felt safe in regards to COVID. read more
