I've been using Blanca's cleaning service for almost 4 years now and am very happy with them. I seem to pay a little more than some people I know ($50 for a 1 bedroom apartment), but I completely trust her staff in my apartment while I am at work. Like all cleaning services they get lazy at time, but I've found if I make them a reminder list once in a while I come back to a perfectly clean apartment. Blanca is also extremely reliable- I"ve booked her weeks in advance and they show up without any reminder. It's definitely a treat to come back to a sparkling clean apartment after a long day at work. read more

The jig is up. After several years of withholding my official review, others are finding out about Blanca's Cleaning Service. Actually, their secret is Maria. And she's mine, biotches, so don't request her and make her so unavailable to me that I'm forced to use someone else. :) I love Maria. She's cleaned my place every two or four weeks for over six years. She cleans the same routine every time. Actually, the sad part is that I'm not sure how long I can use Blanca. A month ago, I learned Maria is down in Central America undergoing surgery and might not be back. I know when Blanca sends someone else--mirrors have streaks on them, things in the kitchen are moved and not put back in the same place as before, the bathroom smells like bleach, MY SHAMPOO BOTTLE ENDS UP IN THE CLEANING SUPPLY BASKET. Yeah...if they send someone other than Maria, weird things happen. read more

I needed a cleaning service and went to yelp for a reference so I am passing it on...Blanca's cleaned today and I just got home to see the work...I let them in mid day and they appeared to be trustworthy so I left to go back to work. They are trustworthy. They are kind hearted. I came home to a super clean place. Sounds strange but it's obvious that they clean with loving kindness for their clients. The woman who cleaned was happy. Blanca and her brother(?) who I didn't meet but talked with on the phone were responsive and extreeeeeemly conscientious. I am grateful that I lucked out with them. read more

I am a long-time, avid Yelp reader who has never written a review before, but Bianca's was so amazing, I feel I have to sing their praises. My initial call was responded to within 24 hours, and they set up an appointment for the very next day. They quoted me a price based on the fact that we have a 3-bedroom/1-bathroom and a cat - I felt the quoted price was very reasonable, considering they hadn't seen how truly grungy our apt had gotten over the winter. The cleaning lady came right on time, was very sweet and trustworthy and spoke decent English, though Spanish was her first language. I had to leave in the middle and I had no worries about leaving her alone in the house. And this was a BIG job - I'm a little embarrassed to admit how bad it had gotten between the forced-air dust and the cat hair. She stayed a full five hours, and even called a friend to come and help her for the final hour! She also discovered that our vacuum wasn't actually working, and called an acquaintance who was able to come over and get it working again, at no extra cost. Five hours of hard, elbow-grease, thorough cleaning later, our apartment has honestly never looked better, and I cannot recommend Bianca's Cleaning Service highly enough! read more

*NOTE: payment is cash only and your own cleaning supplies are needed* I have a two bedroom two full-bath condo with an office and a shedding dog whose hair is absolutely everywhere. I have been looking for a good cleaning service for a while, and have tried many others, but was very dissatisfied with the outcome each time. I was looking for someone who could come and do a thorough cleaning of the kitchen and bathrooms and clean the floors, windowsills and baseboards. I called Blanca on Friday to make an appointment, and she was able to schedule me for the following Tuesday at 7:30 am and quoted me $140. I wasn't to concerned with the price as I was more interested in making sure the job was well done. It was great to be able to make an appointment so soon also, which I was not anticipating. On Tuesday morning, a woman came around 7:50am (20 minutes late) but she was extremely kind and apologetic for being late. I explained roughly what I wanted done and I left out all the cleaning supplies I had as well as clean bedding. She got started immediately, had another woman join her, and they were done by 1:00pm. When I came home, I was happy to find my apartment cleaner than ever. The dog hair was all gone, my sofa was vacuumed, the kitchen sparkled, my bedding had been changed and my bathrooms looked outstanding. All the cleaning supplies had been put away and the rags that had been used were put on top of my washing machine. She was so detailed and did such a thorough job, I couldn't have been more pleased! I will absolutely be using Blanca's service again. The only negative aspect was that she wasn't on time - otherwise, everything was outstanding. read more

I found out about Blanca's cleaning service through Yelp. The ratings were really high and and a fellow Elite Yelper seemed to be really enjoying her services so I decided to give it a shot. She quoted $130 for a move-out cleaning of a two bedroom two bathroom condo, which I thought was pretty high but she was really highly rated and it was only for a one-time cleaning. We scheduled the appointment for Monday, the day of our move-out inspection, at 7:30am. We had already moved out of the place and scheduled to meet up at 10:00am to pay them. My boyfriend wanted to make sure that everything was on track for our 10:00am meeting, so I gave her a call at 8:45am to make sure that everything was fine. She asked me what the address was and the apartment number, which I thought was strange, and said that she would call the supervisor and get back to me. Five minutes later, I receive a call from the building doorman asking if it's okay to give keys to the cleaning crew as they had just arrived at the building. I give my okay and waited for a call back from Blanca as to what was going on. I didn't get the call from her so I reached out and asked when they would be ready, "maybe 11:00am". Ok...my boyfriend showed up at 11:00am only to discover that the lady, not Blanca, had not finished. Nope, the job wasn't completed until noon. I understand that things come up, people run out of gas/cleaning products/what have you, but if you're running 1.5-2 hours late, I shouldn't be the one to accidentally discover it. A simple phone call, perhaps with a quick "sorry, things came up, please meet us two hours later" would go a LONG way. It's really unfortunate for them as we moved into a larger unit and were interested in finding someone who could clean our new place weekly. I'll look elsewhere for a cleaning services which provides good cleaning and good customer service. read more

Overall I was very happy with the service that was provided by Blanca's Cleaning Service. We were moving into a new apartment and needed to get it cleaned before we brought everything in. We asked for them to clean the fridge and oven and make sure that all the dust that had accumulated in the apartment before we had moved in was gone, in addition to the normal cleaning of bathroom, kitchen, etc. They did a great job. It looked very clean and everything that was in the apartment was as we left it. The cost seemed more competitive than other cleaning services I had called. They don't do appointments in the afternoon, but were willing to work with me to do an early morning appointment at 6:45am, so I could let them in before leaving for work. The people coming to clean the apartment ended up being about 30 minutes late (which made me late for work), but Blanca was very responsive in communicating with me and was very apologetic; she takes a lot of pride in the business she runs. read more

Best deep cleaning service! Excellent communication, scheduling, and above all...great job! Price very competitive. Every nook and cranny dusted and cleaned including ceiling fans and heat registers. read more

My fiancé and I have been looking for a thorough and reliable cleaning service since we moved in together. Today we had Blanca's come in, and we are both pleasantly surprised. They were extremely detail oriented, reasonably priced, and easy to work with. They were by far the best cleaning experience I've had in the 5 years I've been living downtown. As my fiancé put it, we rate them 13/10, because they went so far above and beyond. read more

My experience with Bianca's was horrible. They arrived an hour late and did not have adequate cleaning supplies and towels. They expected to use mine. A crew of three "worked" for two hours. I guess I should've stayed in my condo to watch them. They didn't do anything. When I came back, it was just as dirty as it was when I left. I expected a thorough move in cleaning. I complained and pointed out a few things that I wanted cleaned. They quickly wiped the countertop, shower, ran a mop over the floor and left. It was a total waste of $150. read more

I found Blanca's Cleaning Service through someone in my building and what a gem! I have recommended them to many, many of my friends. I can tell that they move EVERYTHING to clean (once because one of my things did got broken) but all and all, they strive to do a good job. The cleaning staff does not speak good English- so keep that in mind if you leave directions. I've been there when the staff is there at times and they take cleaning very seriously- I haven't seen them on the phone and they don't even seem to take a break for lunch! Blanca is easy to reach and has done me last minute favors- once after a Saturday night party I begged to have someone clean on a Sunday morning and they delivered. A definite find. read more

This cleaning service is very inconsistent. I had them 3 times and only once did they do a good job. The gal who did this good job put all my loose paperwork in a basket in my bedroom next to my desk. Then the next time they cleaned, a different person threw all these important papers away! I was very upset. Blanca didn't have the courtesy to do anything about this. Another time they did not sweep my large living room oriental rug. I called and Blanca said she would call back. I had just walked in from work and was changing when her brother walked in my condo. (He was cleaning a different place in the building). I had nothing on and screamed for him to leave. Blanca never called back about this either. Considering the lack of managements care and lack of communication, I will never recommend this cleaning service! read more

I have had Blanca's Cleaning now for about a year. They are friendly, thorough and accommodating to my schedule. Blanca herself is super happy on the phone and positive, considering what a tough job she has. I wouldn't dream of switching cleaning companies. One final thing, they are very trustworthy. Love them. read more

Blanca's cleaning crew has been stellar. We use them to clean our factory and offices every week. They are always prompt, even when we request changes, and they do a fantasic job at a fair price. We have used them for almost 2 years now and couldn't be happier. read more

I hired Blanca's Cleaning Service while on crutches and in dire need of thorough cleaning in my studio apartment. I could not have been more impressed. Since I was here while they worked, I saw the efficiency but also attention to detail. They were flexible in assisting as needed and took the time to really do a nice job. I've never seen my place so clean and it's terrific to know that this reliable team of professionals is available with a fairly short notice. I never write yelp reviews but wanted to share the good review so that others who google a house cleaner in Lincoln Park know that this family team is amazing! Your money will be well spent and your home will be in good hands. read more

I had the cleaning service for the first time this morning. It's a four bedroom three bath house only the main rooms used as a two person household although I was happy enough with the service I was a little shocked by the price $390. I would never have used service if I thought it was that much. I guess I should have got a quote first. read more

Blanca's team has cleaned my apartment three times now, and I will be calling them again the next time my apartment needs a cleaning. They are a bit on the pricey side, especially considering that they do not bring their own supplies - but I am happy with the work that they do. read more

My friend reccomended Blanca she cleaned my apartment so wellThanks Blanca

Beware.....this cleaning service is very disappointing. I hired Biancas to do a "move out" cleaning of our 2 bedroom condo. I explained that I needed a thorough clean of the baths, blinds, floors, cabinets, and appliances. There was no furnishings to be dusted. They seemed to be in a hurry and came with minimal cleaning products. When they were done, the wood blinds in the bedrooms were still dirty and I asked if they could wipe them down with a damp cloth. She refused and said it was against company policy to do that and said she had ALREADY feather dusted them!! Also noticed after they left, that the kitchen floors were not cleaned along the cabinets and baseboard so I had to redo it myself. This was not a professional cleaning job and I would NOT recommend that you use them. Their customer service is non existent . read more

Depending on which woman they send, cleaning will be really, really good or horrible. Also, they are always around an hour late with no communication, which is beyond frustrating. The 3 stars are due to their lack of ability to be on time or communicate and the drastic difference in cleaning performance. read more
