I recently visited this establishment with my best friend, both of us with our 8-month-old babies. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. The hostesses were not welcoming, and when we were seated, the high chairs were placed across from us rather than by our sides. When I politely asked if we could move the high chairs to the sides for easier access to our babies, we were told no--citing a fire safety walkway issue. I offered to move to a table with chairs instead, so we could simply replace the chairs with the high chairs, and again, we faced refusal with the same reasoning. I had to thoroughly explain what I meant before the hostess finally accommodated us. Throughout our meal, several servers stood nearby, staring at us, which made both me and my best friend extremely uncomfortable. Ultimately, We decided to order our food to go, as the environment no longer felt welcoming. Even when we asked to switch to takeout, there was confusion, as one server had to call another over to clarify what we needed. I spoke with the manager, who was apologetic, but this was the second time we'd experienced this kind of treatment at the same location, seemingly due to having children with us. It's clear this place does not accommodate families or young kids, and I will not be returning. read more

We had a great brunch experience, and a big part of that was our server, Matias. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right from the start without being overbearing. I ordered the steak and eggs, which were cooked perfectly everything came out hot and exactly how we asked. Matias checked in at all the right times, kept our drinks refilled, and had a great attitude the entire meal. Hubby & I went here today to try their brunch. We were greeted by German. He was super friendly and knowlegeable with our questions. Hubby ended up ordering their chicken & waffles and I got the chilaquiles tomatillo with scrambled egg. For drinks, he ordered their iced dulce de leche latte and I got an iced banana latte. Food was very good. Drinks could've used a bit more ice though. Ambiance was nice. Trendy and modern feel to the place. German recommend we come back and try them out for dinner time. This place has been open for some time now and we finally made it here. I have read some reviews of people saying how good the food was so we had to try it. The restaurant is nicely laid out and modern looking. The menu offers a variety of different food items both breakfast and lunch. My daughter had the waffles and my son had the chicken and waffles. He said several times that this was the best fried chicken he has ever had. My wife had the avocado toast trio and I had the chilaquiles with eggs over medium. The food took some time but was on point. If judging on food only, I would give this place 5 stars. My only complaint was that I had to get up and ask for water and salt/pepper. Our server was nice and busy and the person I asked was standing around and didn't even tell our server that we asked for water. We also missed out on the bread service which I hope we get next time when we come back. I can highly recommend this place the food is on point as are the drinks. read more

10/10 the steak and eggs FIRE! Call 911 and excellent the steak was nicely cut and served with a killer chimi churri sauce. $36 plate but it comes with potatoes two pieces of toast and ketchup. Just delicious. My sister got the chipotle chilaquiles they were too cheesy for her liking but I tried them and they were yummy. The drinks and iced coffee taste like chocomil so delicious. Reminded me of my grandparents old skool homemade chocolate milk shakes. Guys this place is delicious and very nice environment. The bathroom smelled clean and the staff speaks Spanish. My family celebrated our daughter's graduation here and it was fabulous. The ambiance was very zen with beautiful decor and clean atmosphere. Ever dish we ordered was fresh and delicious. We had chicken and waffles, ahi tuna salad, eggs Benedict, and even the spaghetti pancakes was unique and refreshing. Juan Carlos was a great server. Came for brunch. Made reservations and it was a fast and easy process. We got the chefs special, it was so well served for 2-3 people, there were left overs. The chilaquiles de chipotle and a skillet were wonderful as well. Our waiter was Matias who was kind and very helpful. I appreciate it when they're attentive to my parents which is as a plus! We had no reservations but since it was during the early week we went, there wasn't any wait time and got seated right away. The restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated! Our server was very nice and attentive! My husband ordered the jalapeño pasta dish and I ordered the mole enchiladas and for our appetizer we ordered the ribeye guacamole. We came here for breakfast on our anniversary and were the first guests that morning. It was a random Thursday around 8:30. The place was spacious and romantic. Our server was very hospitable and patient. I ordered the slam with fruit instead of potatoes. It came out on a round wooden board, like charcuterie. I loved it! It was abundant in protein but didn't taste heavy, if that makes any sense. The two small round pancakes were fluffy perfection. My husband ordered the biscuit gravy and eggs. We first visited Blackstone not long after they opened and tried their brunch. The food was delicious, but we had a few takeaways that led us to knock off a star--like being seated right next to the kitchen, dealing with the door draft, and getting served cold coffee. It was good, but not quite five-star at the time. Fast forward to our second visit--this time for dinner--and what a difference. We made a reservation for 9:00 PM, not realizing that's their closing time. That felt a bit odd, and we were concerned when we showed up to find only a few tables occupied and the restaurant winding down. We decided to sit at the bar and ended up having the most personalized, relaxing, and surprisingly intimate dining experience. Despite our concern about keeping the staff late, we were warmly reassured and never rushed. Our bartender was a gem--genuinely friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. We felt completely at ease and taken care of. We ordered the jalapeño pasta with shrimp and the porterhouse steak--both cooked to perfection and easily shareable. My dining partner had a spicy margarita recommended by the bartender, and it was spot-on. Everything about the meal, the drinks, and the service felt elevated and intentional. It was a lovely late dinner made even better by a team that clearly takes pride in their work. Thank you to the staff for making our night so enjoyable--we'll definitely be back... just a bit earlier next time! I had the chilaquiles w/ the chipotle sauce, with 2 eggs over easy. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AND ORDER THIS AGAIN. There are so many things on the menu I want to try, but I will need to have this dish again at least one more time (with pork belly added) before I can explore more. It was that good. Oh my goodness, gracious hands-down this is the best. Nice restaurant in Corona. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. The presentation was beautiful. The flavor was so amazing. The shrimp or huge whatever sauce they put in there had me licking my fingers..... when no one was looking. The service could not have been any better. We didn't realize you needed reservations, but they were kind enough to fit us in. We went in pretty early for dinner. by 530 people were pouring into that restaurant.
