The food was delicious and the service was great. My problem is that they added a 20% tip for a party of 6. A tip is to be determined by the guest based off the level of service received. If the restaurant applies the tip as they feel appropriate it is no longer a tip, it's a service charge. For this reason I probably will not return. read more

Went to Blackstone for my grandma's birthday dinner. Food and atmosphere were excellent! Waiters were always checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything. What really stood out, was our excellent waiter Matlas. We brought a cake, and unfortunately for safety reasons no outside food was allowed. They did keep it safe for us. At the end Matlas actually brought it out with a candle so we could wish my grandma Happy Birthday. He also split it up so everyone could take a piece home to eat. Awesome place! Great vibes. My husband and I came on a Saturday around noon. We walked in and sat at the bar. The rest of the restaurant was quite busy. We had the southwest wrap and vegetable omelet. Both were delicious, fresh, and large portions we also did the mimosa flight which came in three (jicama, orange, and strawberry). Can't really mess to mimosas. The service was great. The servers were attentive. I would definitely come back. read more

My mother and I came in due to a mishap on our hair appointment. This place did not disappoint. Their food was good I got the chorizo flatas and mascarpone French toast. It was all delicious. Our waiter reminded me of Ben Affleck... our server was Matias.. he was polite, quick and friendly. Walked around the restaurant to make sure everyone had what they needed. After reading some of the negative reviews, I realize the ratings weren't accurate. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was even better. There was no wait time as we did not come on a holiday or a known busy time and didn't have a stroller. Definitely worth coming back to. Yes, prices are high, but they are high everywhere. Had reservations and got sat right away. Really nice inside and has an upscale vibe. Food was all decent to really good. Calamari was generic but fried really well. Drinks are overpriced and not strong at all. Was excited to try the smoked cherry old fashioned, it was presented nicely by actually being smoked but it was 95% bitters and syrup. I can't justify it being $20 so I tried the $18 Midnight and that was also 95% fruit syrup so couldn't taste the whiskey. I got the vodka shrimp penne and I probably could've made that at home pretty easily. It was good but not a $30 pasta. Wife got the jalapeño enchiladas which she really liked and I can tell they put more effort into that recipe. So all that and tip was almost $200. In Dos Lagos I know places there are more expensive and for that money Reunion makes way better drinks for a few bucks cheaper. I would go here again but maybe ask for the drink to be stronger and try the expensive steak read more

Through his recommendations, we ordered the Mascarpone French Toast, Steak and Eggs and Chilaquiles and let me tell you, phenomenal choices. Matias also brought out different salsas for us to taste that complimented our entrees perfectly. The best part of our meal was Matias beyond exceptional service to say the least. Terrible food. Got the slam, croissant, and apple empanadas. Everything is Orange County over priced. $26 for the slam. Coffee watered down and no flavor, syrup little taste like water, pancake batter was so thin and you can tell it is watered down. Pancakes were burnt with no flavor and crumbly. Scrambled Eggs literally had zero flavor. Stick with chick fila breakfast down the street. Not only does chick fila have flavor but you will save $75 and the coffee is actually good. This place cost $123 for breakfast and was terrible. Never again! Will never recommend. read more

I hate to say this but... I would absolutely never come here again. I eat out more than I'd like to admit so I was super excited to try out a new place. I'll add details below but don't waste your time. Drinks: They charge per drink on nonalcoholic beverages. My daughter and mom were both drinking strawberry lemonades. Between the two of them they drank 5 I guess or so the receipt said. $9 each - 5 strawberry lemonades so $45 in lemonade!!!! There has never been a margarita that I couldn't drink BUT the kiwi-something margarita was AWFUL. It tasted like pure triple sec. I couldn't drink it so I ordered the jalapeño cucumber margarita and that was just ok. Food: They have two menus. We came at 2pm so we received the "brunch" menu. (Dinner doesn't start until 5pm.) If you don't want breakfast the options are super limited. Although the presentation was great the food was very average. Very, very basic. Seating: They packed as many tables into this place as possible. Expect to be elbow to elbow with everyone including the other tables. Servers: Our servicer was nice. It's not their fault that the restaurant sucks. read more
