Bob's Big Bear Burger* (1360-2400 cals.)

great location since it's right off the freeway! there's a big parking lot, so plenty of parking. we came here on mother's day for brunch with no reservation & it was pretty busy but we were seated quickly. our waitress was so friendly & she gifted the women in our group with roses! it's a diner so not the cleanliness place, but the food overall was super good! their menu is super unique & tells the history of the diner

Stopped by to get a dinner salad to go. Was pleasantly greeted by Breanna once I entered. She took my order and was also going to prepare my salad to go. She did a great job in making a fresh and presentable and tasty salad. Accompanied by CornBread muffins. She included my dressing on side and utensils and carefully packed it all. Her customer service was great and i so enjoyed the salad. I'm tempted to try those pies soon.

Birthday desert!!

My daughter chose to eat here for her 8th Birthday dinner. We were traveling and had never ate at any of the Black Bear Diners.. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They gave her a birthday treat and sang to her. It was a very pleasant and welcoming experience!

There was a major accident on 80 and the highway closed. The staff at Black Bear was overwhelmed with people stopping off to eat while waiting out the traffic woes. It didn't help that the rain was heavy and that they were understaffed. Still, they were pleasant, friendly, and as quick to serve as anyone could expect. The food was up to Black Bear standard and the restaurant was very clean considering the crowd.

Cobb salad, BAM!! Crispy chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce!!!

Always very busy. Great omelettes and burgers. The biscuits and gravy aren't the best but the service helps make up for it.

Mai is the owner and she provides very professional service as a bartender and waitress as well. The food always tastes very good and comes out hot and fast. You never have to wait long to be served. The restaurant has many TVs for watching sports and it's never noisy like traditional sports bars. It is in a convenient location on Lincoln Way just off of the Auburn-Ravine / Foresthill Road exit in the Raleys shopping center with lots of parking available. I recommend this place to everyone.

The bone-in wings were a great deal and huge, however, I felt like the wing was mostly batter rather than chicken. That was pretty much the only downside. The burgers are 1/2 lb each and are hefty, filling, and come with a nice portion of crispy, salty fries. They were an excellent choice! We also got the sampler platter which had a nice variety. Nothing was overly greasy and the tenders had a good chicken to batter ratio. Inside is spacious with lots of seating. It gives the vibes of an after work hangout spot. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Whether you're stopping during a roadtrip or have a wedding to attend in Auburn, this place will keep your belly full!

My kids and I came here for the first time, and I literally wanted to buy everything! It's pretty tight inside, and since we came on a Sunday, it was super busy but things kept moving. They have a market side where you can find all their pies, pantry items, deli items, pre-made foods, and more. We spent a lot of time browsing all the market items and ended up getting their Japanese Curry Pot Pie, Cinnamon Bread, and some house-made shmear to try. My kids tried their Wagyu Burger while I got to try their famous Marionberry Milkshake and a Banana Cream Pie that was offered through Yelp. We didn't have to wait too long for the burgers since they moved pretty quickly. The boys gave them a 10/10! The burgers were juicy, and the flavors really hit the spot. The onion rings they got were pretty big and flavorful too and not greasy either. I know where I'm getting my holiday pies from now on!

I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the pumpkin bread pudding with a peach cider. First the seasonal peach cider was really fresh and a great Sunday afternoon beverage. The biscuits and gravy were incredible. Full of flavor and the biscuits were perfect! The pumpkin bread pudding was amazing as well. Crispy edges with soft middle and a butter flavor. Outstanding. Dining was primarily outside and this place probably is great at sun down with the breeze. So glad we made it in and we will be back for sure.

First, we loved this place when it was the original owners. It was always a 10/10 experience. However, since the new owners took over, it really has been a disappointing experience each time; we keep going back hopeful, but I think we've hit our limit. The positives: the menu is creative and has expanded, a great outdoor seating area with fun events throughout the week, and one of the employees (younger tall guy) is super helpful and friendly. The negatives: lacking attention to detail, customer awareness and warmth, and longer than normal wait times. Our last visit, we walked in and were hardly greeted though being the only ones there. We ordered appetizers and drinks. We finished our drinks well before our food came out, 45 minutes later. It took so long we went in to check to make sure they hadn't forgotten. The table next to us was also extremely perturbed because their food took 45+ minutes, for it not being busy. One of the guests asked why the hold up on food and the response was: "well it's Thursday after being closed for 3 days and we weren't as prepped as we thought; that's what happens in restaurants. You can take it to go." I also ordered their Macho Salad, which came without any dressing. Just lettuce and a few toppings. It's disappointing to spend a decent amount of money to have pretty poor experiences. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

It came loaded with Tillamook cheddar, crispy bacon, onion rings, mayo, and their gourmet BBQ sauce. The burger was juicy, cheesy, smoky, and slightly sweet without the BBQ sauce overpowering everything else. Adding that second patty made it a beast of a burger! It was way too much for me to finish in one sitting, but that worked out perfectly because it became two meals and how the heck was it more delicious the next day? My friend ordered the Boss Burger, which came with lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion rings, Swiss and American cheeses, and their signature sauce. He made his a double too, which turned an already fully loaded burger into something absolutely massive! Both burgers looked impressive when they arrived. By the time I barely finished my half, he was practically done with his burger... how the... well, lol, he's a man! The restaurant was crowded when we visited, and only about half of the tables were clean. However, the customer service here is always great. I also like that they keep water available on the counter so you can easily help yourself. We had a great time laughing, talking, and even chatting with other customers who shared our love for Burger & Cream. That made the experience even more enjoyable! Of course, you can't come to Burger & Cream without checking out the desserts. We chose a chocolate cookie dessert made with chocolate ice cream, took it back to my place, and shared it there. It was rich, chocolatey, and the perfect sweet ending to a fun time with my friend.
