My hope for this place seems to get crushed for each time. The food/bagels are decent. The coffee is good - but they OFFICALLY have the worst takeaway cups in the entire world. It's leaking no matter what you do. Just hold the cup with coffee still and it keeps dropping all over the floor and yourself. No idea how they can have these terrible cups? I thought the first time, if was just a bad coincidence, 2nd time the cup still leak/drops. Third time I was like, it probably was just bad luck, but it keeps dripping and leaking.... BAD CUPS! I know, it seems like I'm annoyed over some cups, but each time I've had to through away my coffee at this place.... Overall, it's an ok place if you have no other options at all.... read more

I love this place. Everyone who works here is so friendly. The owner is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. The Salmon Goodness, TABT and Croque Madame are my go to sandwiches. And their jalapeno cream cheese is fantastic. This is my go to breakfast and iced coffee shop. read more

Visited here for the first time today as they just opened up this week. Décor is great, lots of light and bar style seating. Bagels were good, but not out of this world, I would have liked more of the "everything" on my everything bagel. I had it with scallion cream cheese which was fresh and delicious, as well as generously applied. Ice coffee hit the spot, they have soy milk at no added cost. I will be back for sure, have a feeling that this will be my new weekend bagel spot! Happy to have them in the neighborhood! read more

This review is in regards to their delivery service. This place charges for delivery yet the delivery guy refused to come up and deliver my food to my door. He made me come outside where I found him just hanging out smoking in my courtyard, which mind you is prohibited. And to top it all off the bagels did not taste like NYC bagels. They were more like what you would find at a bagel shop outside of the tristate area. Not impressed and due to the horrible delivery service (which again, they charged for), I will not order from here in the future. read more

It's a hit or miss, sometimes I get my coffee done right other times it's done wrong. Like if I ask for a dry cappuccino with skim/2% milk but get one with whole milk? I only keep going back because I'm too lazy to find another coffee shop, I live across the street. I used to get bagels here but they managed to always mess that up too, so now I just get coffee. I mean it's not hard just toast the bagel slap some cream cheese on it and boom, done...nope not as easy as I thought. This morning on a dreadful rainy day, I was waiting outside with my 1 year old son for our Uber when the barista came out. She asked me to wait inside and out of the rain and gave my son a delicious chocolate chip cookie. I'm sure I'm being bias because of her friendliness and kind gesture but the cookie was absolutely amazing, my son loved it. Their kindness and heartfelt act was so truly appreciated by me and I know where I'll be getting my morning breakfast from now on. I love their coffee, cakes and breakfast sandwiches. They have great customer service. If there was one thing I would say needs some work is the organization of how food is dispensed. Like from when you order to when it's prepared and to when it is served, it takes too long because of a bit of disorganization. Sometimes customers don't get the right thing because their order got lost somewhere in translation...but they always fix it right away. Venus the barista is my favorite employee there she's great! Everyone else is too but she stands out ! Overall they are awaome, clean, and lovely people. I decided to give this place a try since it's literally the only bagel shop in the area. It seems they've decided to capitalize on the fact that a bunch of white yuppies with a bit more money in their pockets are moving into the area. I paid $6 for two bagels with cream cheese! Any deli in the area will charge you a dollar for a bagel with cream cheese. Yeah it's a better quality bagel but it's not amazingly good. The cream cheese also had a refrigerator taste, bleh. I asked why it came up to that price because I thought maybe it was a mistake. They charged $1.25 for the bagel and $1.25 for the cream cheese... the cream cheese is the same price as the frickin bagel and tastes like the fridge. I won't be returning. When I need a bagel I'll head across the street to the deli. read more

There is nothing "BAD" about the food. It is just bland, under-seasoned, basic food. Even the food in this neighborhood is gentrifying, and it doesn't taste great. Chicken Sandwich: Ingredients were fresh. Baguette = BLAND, Chicken = BLAND, Garlic Mayo? = Somehow still bland. Croque Monsieur = The sauce is like wallpaper paste, and the sauce is everything. TBLAT (Turkey Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato) = Im fairly sure I only paid for the assembly of this wrap because it tasted like nothing. Please for the love of food, put just a tiny bit of salt on ANYTHING. Or display your sauces so people can choose to have flavor in their sandwich/wrap. Stayed at the RL hotel and this spot was the closest to the hotel. Came back every morning for the week I was in New York and can't wait to go back. Might stay at the RL hotel (which was great) again also because of how close it is to this spot. I love their fried egg BTA on a whole wheat wrap. The flavors are absolutely delicious. It is filling but not greasy. I usually have it with a small latte or a cup of coffee and it makes an amazing weekend morning breakfast. As my aftermeal treat, I may also splurge on a slice of carrot cake. To be honest the carrot cake is amazing! Light fluffy layers put together with just enough cream. You can see the carrots in the cake and the whole concoction tastes divine.
