New Korean Sweet and Sour chicken sandwich - awesome flavors however bread was soggy and sweet potato fries were cold in the middle. Chicken parm was doughy and not fully cooked and the iceberg wedge was served with 3 little tomatoes and a few bacon bits. My sister ordered fries no salt as it hits her blood pressure / my niece ordered fries as well - plates were mixed in kitchen and my niece and sister literally grabbed their burgers from each plate to switch. First order of Bloody Mary came without requested celery stock with my bacon and my second one I specifically requested and it came the right way. My niecey ordered margarita flight and was told bar didn't have all ingredients to make flight however flight was charged. The overall experience is a one star/ the saving grace was that both the General and Kitchen Managers came out and made adjustments to the bill and gave sincere apologies and provided dessert on the house of which I elected not to try. Honestly, the food was actually so horrible, first, we waited for so long and I get that your kitchen can be backed up but it should not take 40 minutes to bake a cookie and put ice cream ontop of it. When the food finally came out, the plate was dirty, still had food residue on it, and some meat juice which honestly killed my appetite. And again the wait?? So long to the point where we just wanted to leave, when we tried the food, the strawberry syrup tasted like straight up metal. Might be because they dont wash their silverware but dont order anything from here again, in the middle of our awful dining experience, the whole place started smelling like rotten fish. Great options for everyone and who doesn't love a pizookie! Large parking lot with plenty of space. I went with my family of 5 and one person has a gluten allergy. We told the waiter and they were very respectful of this. I forgot what everyone ordered, but I got the Parmesan crusted chicken with the mashed potatoes and broccoli as my two sides. The chicken was seasoned well. It could use a little bit more, but overall a great taste. The mashed potatoes were supposedly white cheddar, I didn't necessarily taste the cheddar, but the potatoes consistency was good. The broccoli was just a really good healthy option for me. I do remember one person got the little sliders with fries. We arrived during happy hour, so this was still available. I specifically went there for their Pizookies. It's a cookie in the shape of a pizza lol we got the classic chocolate chunk flavor and it comes with a huge scoop of ice cream on top. Hot and gooey chocolate chip cookie with a very sweet vanilla ice cream. It is a sports bar so there was a lot of TVs playing different sporting events and the place is a huge venue so the sounds kind of echoed, it can get a little loud. Visiting BJs for lunch, I wqs surprised by the crowd. Then I remember it was Veterans day. Lol. My server was training a new server. Nice location, lengthy lousy of food options. I had the Brisket and bacon burger substituted the fries with broccoli soup. I liked my food however my burger was burnt. I didn't say antibiotics because it was nice to just be out. The atmosphere was nice average noise at the time and the music was pitch louder than one would notice in the beginning. The server and her trainee were great. My drink consisted of strangeness. Hot water with lime since they were out of tea and I felt cold inside. I have to say that the broccoli soup was veto good, warm and fulfilling. Overall nice experience. I came here to watch the CU game with some of my family, and we ended up having such a great experience. As soon as we sat down, they were kind enough to change the channel for us so we could actually watch the game we came for, which I really appreciated. Not every place will do that without acting inconvenienced, but they handled it with no hesitation and a smile. The servers were all super sweet the whole time. Even when they messed up one of our orders, they came over, apologized politely, and replaced the item right away. No attitude, no excuses, just genuine, great customer service. That alone goes a long way for me. The food was delicious, too. Everything came out hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast considering how busy they were. You know how some places take forever when there's a game on? Not here. We got our food quick and it all tasted really good. The overall vibe is like a mix between a restaurant and a brewhouse, casual, comfortable, and super laid-back, with just enough energy to make it fun without being overwhelming. Tonight's dining experience was fantastic in a way that we had a great server named Davianna who was absolutely above and beyond for our needs. To be frank, the food they serve at this restaurant is OK-ish, They are not the tastiest dishes you'd ever have but their portion sizes are pretty decent to generous. Its spacious, clean dining area is always appreciated. Its beer selection is so wide range. They can make variety of cocktails. Their wine selection is not bad either. I had Daou Cabernet Sauvignon and he had two different beers (both of them were really good.) We were pretty happy with what we had for the night. We sat at the bar. Although we aren't necessarily football fans and yet the game that was on the TV screens (Pittsburg Steelers and Baltimore Ravens) somehow entertained us to a point where we were kind of closely paying attention to the scores. Hence, it's a great place for a game watching. We will definitely dine again at this place in the near future when we are seeking some casualness. For a brewhouse, BJ's does offer a wide variety of options to suit just about anyone's taste. From hearty burgers to lighter bites, everything I've tried has been quite yummy. The selection of craft beer is a little noteworthy, with unique brews on tap that cater to casual drinkers and craft enthusiasts alike. However, my common gripe never seems to be addressed. The service here leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, it's consistently slow, and despite visiting a few times since my last review, I've yet to see any improvement. We had one staff member take our drink order, then waited, then had a second staff member try to take our drink order again. Oops but still. It's frustrating when you're hungry (and thirsty) only to spend a significant portion of your visit waiting. Ordered take out for New Year's Eve, avocado egg rolls are always good. Brisket and bacon burger had brisket around the edge but not actually in the burger; should have been called a bacon burger. We also had the deep dish nachos with chicken added. There was about one table spoon of chicken, the nachos were overcooked (how is that possible?) but we're hard and brown and inedible. Avocados were understandably in a smaller container but it was two chunks of avocado-not made into guacamole. Overall very disappointing, would not recommend. Glad I had a 10 coupon but the meal was very bad and should not have been served. We threw it away. read more

Really happy to realize that there are a few BJ's locations in Colorado, as we used to love to go when we were in Texas. First time to visit in a few years, my wife got what she thought was her regular mini cheese pizza. Once it came out, however, she realized she would typically get the small, as the mini is, well, mini. At least she saved room for her triple chocolate pizooki, which didn't disappoint. I decided to try one of the brew house bowls with grilled shrimp. It was delicious and quite filling. My wife thought it looked good too and said she'd try this next time, likely the vegetarian version. Her $5 pizooki was delicious, granted they charged the regular $9, and we didn't realize the mistake until after the bill was paid. The manager corrected it on the final version. Half-price wine night was also a treat. It'd be great to have a location a little closer to Castle Rock, but at least we now know this one is up here for the next time we're in the area. read more

Message to the Restaurant I wanted to reach out to thank your staff for the kindness my wife and I experienced today. There is some meaningful context behind this visit. My mom, Pam, was a regular customer who often came in with her niece, my cousin Steph. Robert was always their server -- in fact, they specifically requested him every time. He knew them, knew their order, and always made their visits special. My mom adored your burgers, had her favorites, and her drink of choice was always a gin martini with an odd number of olives. "Even numbers are bad luck," she'd say. Robert remembered that every time, and that small detail meant the world to her. Today, my wife and I came in for lunch. We sat at the bar, not having met Robert before, but I was able to find him. I told him how much his presence had meant to my mom. He was incredibly kind. He remembered her and my cousin, and he shared warm words with me as I tried not to get emotional. Being able to tell him how much of an impression he made on her -- and on us -- meant more than I can express. Our meal at the bar was outstanding. The poke bowl was absolutely delicious -- I could have happily eaten a full portion as my main meal. The soup-and-salad special was wonderful. And our bartender was friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny. She made the experience feel comfortable and welcoming. When we went to pay, we were surprised to learn that our entire lunch -- except for one round of drinks -- had been taken care of. We later understood that this gesture was from Robert. My wife and I were floored -- we hadn't come expecting anything at all, and certainly nothing for free. We truly hope the discount didn't come out of his pocket. We like to think your management recognizes how much good people like Robert contribute to the spirit of a community space. We came simply to eat, but we left feeling deeply moved. Haven't eaten here in 3 years until tonight. Decided to give it a chance......that was a mistake. The food came out cold and over cooked. The pizza my wife ordered barely had any cheese. It looked like someone opened a can of crushed tomatoes, dumped it on top of some bread, smothered with pepperonis and left to dry out on a heating pan and it tasted awful. I ordered the tritip and chicken with mashed potatoes and the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked to the proper temperature and that's about all I can say good about it. It tasted awful. Whatever sauce they used to drizzle it was gross. The chicken breast was over seasoned and dry as a shoe. The mashed potatoes was okay, just also cold. Brussel sprouts weren't cut properly, so they left the woody stems on them, and they sure as hell don't taste like honey OR sriracha. It was some kind of white vinegary sauce. Literally the only thing objectively "good" about the meal was the beer. I'm probably never coming back. This was the 3rd time and the last. I'm not even sure how this place can still stay operating. It's awful. If you're reading this, don't come here. There's an Applebees up the road a bit and I'm sure there is a chilis nearby. read more

We've been to the Aurora BJ's several times, and it's always been great! They have a wide selection of food and beer. Their food is excellent across the board, and their own beer is better than most craft breweries. The only thing better than their menu is their service. The staff and management are so friendly and accommodating. They treat you like family. The place itself is spacious but inviting, and it never seems to be loud or too crowded. I really can't find any faults with this restaurant & brewery and highly recommend it. read more

I ordered a quick burger to go from BJs because it was close and I'd heard good things. Bad choice on my part! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger medium well with sweet potato fries and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. This cost me $40...Waaay overpriced imo. There were no utensils or even napkins in the bag. The soup was grey with mushrooms floating on top (I didn't even try it). The sweet potato fries were mushy. They were more like mashed potatoes than fries. The burger was ok. Definitely under cooked with the entire middle being pink/red and very heavy salt taste to it. I ate around the edges but no way to cook a little more to eat the undercooked middle. Still can't believe I paid $40 for this but live and learn. Definitely won't be back. read more

We had to get up & ask for someone to come to our table to even acknowledge us. Our waitress brought us water then, never came back. The restaurant was completely dead only a few tables at the end of the night. She complained that, she was having a long day. A kind gentleman took over our order & our waitress was still no where to be found. Her coworkers said saw her standing around doing nothing the whole time. She lied & said she'd be back again & never came back. If she hates working here why does she even bother showing up??? She has a foul mouth dropping f* bombs walking around complaining & there's kids & families nearby. We were looking forward to a nice evening out & she ruined our night. Make this make sense! What a disaster! She's making bj's look bad. I don't think we'll be back again if she's gonna be working here. In past visits BJ's has been really good. This time it definitely was not like my past experiences with this restaurant. Maybe it's because this is a location I haven't been to but the food was not good. We started with the avocado egg rolls and they were not good at all. It was literally nothing but avocado when it should've had some other fillers with it. I was like just biting into a crunchy avocado. For main dishes we had the loaded nachos, tri tip salad and sizzling chicken sandwich. The loaded nachos were ok they just had minimal flavor were underwhelming for nachos we have had in the past at other places. The salad was actually really good and had great flavor with the dressing and everything in it. The sandwich was a huge let down though and I would say steer clear. The piece of so called chicken was so small and was literally all breading. It was extremely greasy too and just did not taste good. Our server though was really nice and checked in on us several times during our visit. The inside was also very nice inside and the décor is done well as they do with these restaurants. Incredible prices in their Drafts as well as their happy from what I saw. However my margarita flight taste like it was crazy heavy in their fruit syrups so I really couldn't enjoy them with out feeling my teeth were gonna fall out. I haven't been to BJ's in several years but we had the chance to go for date night last night and it was just as amazing as I had remembered it. Service was outstanding. Our waiter, Robert, was very friendly and very attentive. He made several great recommendations for appetizers and drinks and stopped by to check on us throughout dinner. The atmosphere was the perfect volume level and although the tables around us were full it wasn't super loud. The pricing was also great. I ended up having the grilled salmon with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli which was delicious. The sauce on the salmon was outstanding. My husband got the pepperoni extreme pizza which he really liked. For our appetizers, we split the mac and cheese balls and chips with queso which were both very yummy. The mac and cheese balls are crunchy, cheesy goodness and we didn't even need the dipping sauces they came with. I had a glass of their Chateau Ste. Michelle Reisling which is now my new favorite and my husband opted for the handcrafted root beer float which he was raving about. The only downside is that they were out of their berry cider and the Parmesan chicken which were my original menu choices. Kind of strange for a Monday night when they weren't crazy busy but oh well. I ended up loving what I ordered instead so no hard feelings from me. We will definitely be back soon. read more

We love BJ's! The Aurora location is in our restaurant rotation if we don't feel like cooking. From the second you step inside, staff greets you with a friendly hello, we usually sit in the bar area, and the bar staff is wonderfully friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and through observation of other staff bustling around the restaurant, it's the same, we feel staff genuinely enjoy their job. Food is great! So many options and we have tried the salmon with lemon Chardonnay sauce, the same but with chicken, pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, I can honestly say we haven't been disappointed. Of course some things I like better than others, but that is my preference, not because the dish wasn't good. Check them out, start with their amazing happy hour. Lackadaisical serving staff and incorrectly prepared jambalaya, dirty glass separators and windows. I did not feel like anyone much cared about the cleanliness and appearance of the physical restaurant itself, indoor and outdoors. Many times I had to ask my server Dajuan to refill our drinks, pick up the paper trash and dirty dishes from our table. I could barely understand anything he said because his thick mask loosely covering his mouth muffled his mumbled speech horribly. My ziti dish was very tasty but awfully small for the price and somewhat greasy too. My wedge salad was wonderful, being crisp and cold and covered in a delicious blue cheese dressing. My hubby ordered the jambalaya which came out cold and tasted like old mushy food. He returned it to the kitchen and got the fish and chips instead. THAT dish was terrific!
