I should've turned away as soon as I saw the typo on the menu "The Best Tapas in Twon". Just like the menu, everything including the food and service was awful. We ordered a pear salad and got a salad with canned pears. Who in their right mind would serve canned pears to their patrons? We also ordered a ribeye steak, what arrived was far from acceptable. We received a gray colored, flavorless, and under-seasoned steak. The steak wasn't even a ribeye, it was a sirloin. It had no sear and no appeal. The mojitos were mediocre, and the tapas we ordered were nothing to write home about. The best tapas in twon? Maybe, but the best in town? Definitely not. Barcelona Wine Bar takes that crown.

Sweet hidden gem! stopped by here while i was going to open houses in CT and this spot really did it! the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating (dog onsite for their outdoor seating) and the food was absolutely delicious. we were ironically on our way elsewhere but i'm glad we were so hungry we decided to stop by here instead because it was ridiculously filling and flavorful. They were even kind enough to bring out a dish in 2 plates already split up since they knew 2 people were going to be sharing it!

Sangria

If you don't try anything here. You Besta (better) try the Sangria... We did happy hour, thank God we arrived at the perfect time. We tried one of everything on the menu. Money well spent... Thank you for a wonderful service.

Amazing Tapas lunch! The food was really delicious in a cute atmosphere! They're doing a great job keeping in their protocols during these trying COVID times.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant was really good. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated. For starters we ordered a pitcher of Sangria which was delicious. For appetizers we had the empanadas and stuffed lamb peppers. We were served two empanadas, one beef and one chicken. My preference was the beef. The stuffed lamb pepper was absolutely delicious, definitely my favorite appetizer. For our entrees I had the surf and turf which was delicious and plated beautifully. My girlfriend had the short rib pappardelle entree and she thought it was awesome. The servings were very large, we loved it. To finish off our evening we had the puff pastry with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate. Unfortunately I was not a fan of the desert. I would have preferred if the puff pastry would have been a bit lighter and warmer. Overall we were impressed with the establishment and definitely will return to try other items from the menu.

Risotto de mariscos

Came here for dinner with the Groupon discount. The food here is unlike any other place I've tried. We had the risotto de mariscos (favorite dish) and lamb kabob tapas, and my penne pasta with chicken and spanish sausage entree was melt-in-my-mouth amazing. Such rich, unique flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. Even the brussel sprout salad was packed with flavor! The dessert was also great - not as excellent as the entrees but still very impressive. Also, extra points for restaurant ambience; loved the classy background music. Service was fast and courteous as well, up until the end. Had to go up and ask for the check after 15 mins post-dessert, but then again it was near closing time. The restaurant was really cold so be sure to bring a jacket. Overall, I love this place and I will certainly be coming back :)

Good food and quick service. A little pricey but expected at a tapas place. Location is very nice as well. Apple cider sangria was amazing

I received the worst steak here I've ever had. It was grey, no crust, no taste. Would never go here again.

I recently decided to go vegan and am always on the look out for places that offer vegan options…read morewithout having to modify anything. Truly Greek is a great place for lunch and dinner with vegan options that you can customize by creating your own bowl or sandwich. I go with their bowl (because of dietary restrictions with bread) and get a lettuce base with my protein being lentils. Then I pile on veggies like onion, chickpeas, beets and more! Choose the vinaigrette dressing because it is beautifully spiced. You can also choose a vegan lentil soup, hummus, dolmades ( grape leaves stuffed with rice). The regular fries are also addicting! This place is great to go even if you are not vegan because of the amount of customizable options!!! I have gone two days in a row and plan on making this a regular spot! The service staff is on point too. So incredibly friendly and they move so quickly. The owner is typically there too and checks in with guests to make certain you are enjoying the food. They have spots for in restaurant seating - cute decor - as well as take out. ( One recommendation/ request is for the owner is to add marinated tofu to the choices of protein just to help us vegans out some more.) I hope you try Trumy Greek and enjoy it as much as I do!!

We Absolutly loved this Israeli Restaurant with authentic food. Staff was terrific, friendly and…read moreattentive. The restaurant is adorable, with a nice outside terrace. The portions are quite generous. Now for the food. We started with Moroccan Cigars; Merguez wrapped in phyllo, very yummy. I had the Eggs Sophie; crispy potato latkes, smoked salmon, top with sunny side eggs and a small salad. The Avocado Toast with sunny side eggs, feta cheese on a multigrain toast was delicious. Shakshuka ( regular or spicy) careful with the spicy, eggs, peppers, feta, cilantro with stewed tomatoes was equally delicious. The Schnitzel and waffles delicious, copious serving. No room for desert. They have a full bar. There a children's menu. Definitely will go back.

STAY AWAY: An Insult to Israeli Cuisine and Common Sense…read moreRating: 0/5 Stars As an Executive Chef and an Israeli citizen, I am rarely speechless, but "Blondit" managed to achieve a level of stupidity beyond comprehension. Let's start with the name. In Hebrew, blondinit is often used as a derogatory shorthand for a shallow, vacuous, or "clueless" woman. It is incredibly fitting that the owners chose this name, as it perfectly reflects the restaurant's operational philosophy: total, unadulterated ignorance. The entire experience was an exercise in deception. This isn't just a bad kitchen; it's a "fake" restaurant. They have no understanding of the ingredients they are handling or the culture they claim to represent. The menu is a work of fiction. What you order is never what arrives because the kitchen staff clearly doesn't know what they are making or selling. The "Food": A Culinary Disaster * The "Cigars": The menu promised delicate Moroccan cigars in crisp phyllo dough. What arrived were heavy, leaden, grease-soaked eggrolls. * The Lamb Burger: This was a masterclass in how not to cook. The meat was over-processed to the point of having the texture of "guppy poop" and was salted so heavily it was borderline toxic. * The Halloumi Fiasco: They topped the burger with Halloumi--a squeaky, salty cheese that does not melt. Placing a cold, rubbery slab of salt on top of an already oversalted, mushy patty shows a fundamental lack of basic culinary knowledge. The Environment: A Health Hazard If the food wasn't insulting enough, the atmosphere was stomach-turning. While I was attempting to navigate the inedible mess on my plate, there were kids vomiting in the dining area. Multiple children were getting sick, and the staff acted as if it were a routine occurrence. No one cared, no one rushed to clean it properly, and no one seemed concerned about the obvious health risks. I should have taken the vomiting children as a warning sign. I left the restaurant feeling ill and ended up getting violently sick from the few bites I actually managed to swallow. This place is an embarrassment to Israeli hospitality. It is fake food run by people with zero understanding of cooking. Save your money, save your stomach, and stay far away from this disaster. I will never return.

Naya offers a very good product with consistent flavor, which is why I keep coming back…read more Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short when it comes to operations. The biggest issue is online ordering and fulfillment. I almost always order online for convenience, but on most occasions my order is not prepared until I physically arrive and ask for an update. At that point, the convenience of ordering online completely disappears. You are honestly better off ordering in person. My most recent experience, which was today, really highlighted the problem. I placed my online order around 11:50 AM and did not receive my food until 12:50 PM. Another ongoing issue is the inconsistency with double protein orders. I have ordered often enough to notice that this is a recurring problem and something that clearly needs attention. I am sharing this mainly to bring awareness to others. If you are ordering online for pickup, be prepared for a gamble. If possible, just order when you arrive. For delivery orders, the drivers are not at fault. They are dealing with the same issue, where orders do not seem to be addressed until someone asks for an update.

I grabbed a NAYA Bowl with chicken shawarma, vermicelli rice, fresh veggies, toum, cucumber yogurt,…read moreand pita. Everything tasted super fresh and balanced; the chicken was juicy, and the mix of yogurt and garlic whip was great. The veggies were crisp, and the sumac onions added a nice tang. A couple of things didn't hit for me though, the "spicy" sauce barely had any heat, and the pita came cold and untoasted, which was a bummer. A warm, toasted pita would've made a big difference. Overall, the bowl was tasty and fresh, and I'd come back, but I hope they step up the spice and fix the pita next time.
