I'm really disappointed with my experience at this salon. I paid for a stiletto French acrylic fill, but the shape was wrong and the gel polish was lumpy and uneven. My nail chipped the next day.When I went back to have it fixed, I suggested switching to a solid color since some of the French polish was still showing after they started removing it. Instead of helping, the nail tech tried to charge me for a color change -- and then even more when I tried to explain the situation how I was helping, he still tried to charge me. The acrylic application was also done poorly (leading to the color bleed), and the nail file burned my nails during the process. I wish they had handled everything with more care and professionalism, especially when it was clearly their mistake. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I hope they take this feedback seriously moving forward. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for a few months now and I love it so much. The prices are pretty consistent with the rest of the prices in Milwaukee. I consistently am able to quickly get an appointment, I am treated with respect and I feel like I am receiving appropriate, high quality services. They are very clear about their pricing upfront and I have never been in a situation where there were any surprises. The ambiance is beautiful as well with lovely chairs and relaxing scents to give you when you are getting a pedicure. I got a pedicure today, and it is PERFECT. The service was thorough with a foot massage, exfoliation, and cuticle trimming. Initially, I didn't love the shine in the color I picked (it looked a little different on the swatch) and they changed it with no hesitation. It is also very clean and cute in the establishment. This place used to be really good but suddenly they started to really suck. The last two times I went they were rushing so much and doing everything really poorly. The guy I had applied gel on my skin and didn't even try to fix it. It caused my nail to break in half and I've stopped going. Too pricey for what you get. read more

Went in for another walk in, and my goodness although I dread getting helped by the manager, my actual nail technician was so nice and pleasant. Karly was able to accommodate my mani/pedi with previous removal on a busy mid day Saturday. She was so quick with me but it didn't feel like she was rushing at all. Others I noticed had to wait an hour to be seen, but she not only took me in about 10 minutes but extended my service when I asked if it was okay. The colours in general at Bisou are really pretty and fairly true to colour. This week I tried their new OPI shimmery line that they just got. The end result has me a bit split if I like it; I was hoping for a more traditional rainbow, but some of the colours are mixed results. The yellow is as you can see still too translucent. The green, blue and pink are so addicting. It was a new combo and I'm not sure if I love it, but I definitely don't hate it. And I appreciate that Karly worked fast and didn't force conversation the entire time. We did chat and she was so knowledgable about the Wisconsin area but never did i feel pressured or like I was annoying her--- something I frequently worry about when I'm at a salon. She supposedly does nail art so I want to come back and see her soon. read more

They look nice and design but for my liking they where too thick. And they barely lasted a week before a nail coming off so it did not last. Based on that the pay was not worth for the job. I use to patronize this establishment prior to the pandemic so I decided to give it a shot on my birthday as my fiancé was treating me to a manicure and pedicure. I called to make an appointment and was given a time to arrive. Upon arrival I articulate that I only needed a shellac polish change on my hands and a shellac pedicure. Two Latina women worked on my hands and feet simultaneously which was kind of distracting but I wasn't bothered by their attempt to finish quick. However, the quality was TERRIBLE! My shellac polish on my feet have come off and it has only been 3 days. My polish change is as decent but wasn't worth the price I paid. My fiancé paid $125 for mediocre quality. I won't go again. I was in town for the weekend and had time to kill while my friend was working, and they were able to get me in for an appointment on short notice! Lana was the nail tech I worked with and she was so helpful! I had a picture from Pinterest I wanted to replicate and she was great in helping me pick colors that were close. The appointment went smoothly and efficiently and I'm so happy with how my nails turned out. They have a discount if you pay with cash, which was nice. I've gotten my nails done here a couple of times out of convenience. They do okay work. Last time I went I paid 85 for a full set plus tip. Price is not worth the experience. Some of my nails bubbled up, and I asked them to fix it. I got sent back to my original nail tech and she cut my cuticle while she was filing. She did not acknowledge it, it was very weird. Though I refused the cheese grater (been refusing it for years), I walked out with beautiful feet, and a no chip mani that far outlasted my nail growth with zero chips. This was my first pedi of the spring, after a long dry winter. Outstanding all around. My second time sucked. I once again refused the cheese grater, and the technician persisted. I politely refused again. She scrubbed with little effort, almost as if she were out to prove her point... no cheese grater, no smooth feet. Moved on to the mani. One cuticle cut, and finished the service with blood along my cuticle. When I pointed out the callouses still on my feet, she once again pushed the cheese grater. I told her that the last technician was able to get my post-winter feet smooth without the grater. She just shrugged. I wish I knew the name of the first tech I saw. read more

Wish I would've loved this place, but my experience there was awful. All of the nail techs seemed awesome, but I got the manager. He kept walking away while doing my nails, yelling at people, answering phones, it was so stressful. I picked out a color and then he told me they didn't have it, no biggie. I picked out a different one from the same place, he told me he couldn't do that color.. then he came back and gave me a completely different swatch thing to look at and pick from, but I didn't like those colors so I picked a different one and he seemed so annoyed. Mostly tried this nail place since I could walk to the location but I'm glad I found it! Very large, clean and cool industrial looking space on the East side. I'm happy I can make same day appointments and I noticed they also take walk-ins. Plenty of color options and the staff doesn't rush you while you're making your selection. I've only gotten manicures and have been really happy with the services; they're efficient and quick without making mistakes! It is a little pricey in my opinion (compared to getting my nails done in the suburbs), but I do appreciate that they let you Venmo your nail tech their tip! read more

I called in advance and asked if they accept walk-ins they confirmed they do, however, when I arrive the receptionist let me know it was very inconvenient for their schedule for me to be seen and I was told to pick my color and sit down.
