Prime Rib Dip
Kelse S.

My mom really enjoys coming here, and I love the patio. This visit it was a bit chilly so we sat inside. If the weather is cooperating, patio I the way to go! It's really beautiful and big, aesthetic is really pretty. We came for a late lunch so it wasn't super crowded. I got a Caesar salad and the prime rib dip. The food was good! It's pricy but I enjoyed. The Caesar had just the right amount of dressing needed and the prime rib was good, I prefer a bit more of a medium preparation. The fries are always fire, an my mom really enjoyed her burger. Looking forward to returning and grabbing a drink in the sunshine!

Great food and lots of it!!! We had enough leftovers for dinner as well. Great service. Very clean. Nice beverage selection of wines, drinks and mocktails.

Caprese salad with grilled salmon

My wife and I were joined by good friends for an early dinner on Saturday at Bishop's Post. It was our first time visiting. Jasmine was our server and she was absolutely amazing. So much so we tipped her 50%. We originally planned to sit outside but the weather was too hot and humid. This place has an amazing pavilion complete with a waterfall. We started with drinks (the best old fashioned I've had in a long time) and beignets (more like hush puppies) and fried calamari. Yummy! For entrees, 2 of us enjoyed the pork chop. Absolutely delicious. One person got the tenderloin meatloaf and another the Caprese salad with grilled salmon. Everything was very good. We will be back.

Lovely midweek dinner on their gorgeous patio. Nicely shaded, so the heat level was kept down to a decent level. Service was attentive and prompt. Overall experience was pretty good. What we ordered: - spinach and artichoke dip: (3.75/4) Decent and traditional. Nothing super unique about this dish, but it does "hit!" - Bishop Post's Prime Burger: (3.5/5) I am a burger snob. This one is decent, but nothing really special to have it stand out. Should have ordered medium as it was cooked medium well+. Fries are nice! - chopped shrimp salad (3.5/5): Shrimp we're tasty (and probably straight from the freezer). Salad mix and dressing was a bit basic. Menu claims that dressing was a remoulade but it seemed more like a Cajun ranch or something. - Meatloaf (3/5): generous portion, tangy topping, meatloaf mix lacked flavor and seasoning. Steak sauce helped. - Watermelon and Heirloom tomato salad: this was a salad special and it was tasty! I will have to make this at home.

We had dinner here for my birthday and had a great experience! The staff was welcoming from the time we walked in. They explained the seasonal and daily specials thoroughly. Our waitress was AMAZING! The drinks were on point. We started with the calamari and it was 100/10. My husband had the beef tip pasta and I had the meatloaf. Both were delicious! We will definitely visit again!!

Since my first visit in 2018, BP has been a staple in my restaurant library. Having visited for Happy Hours, Dinners and Lunches both outside patio and inside dining the experience had been just as enjoyable as the first visit. The menu options have something for everyone and makes for a great location when entertaining work colleagues. Service has always been friendly and they do an awesome job on timliness during the lunch crowd. I do recommend making a reservation because on any given day they might be busy.

There were 7 of us. The outside area was very nice, but one of the umbrellas wasn't working, so the sun came in on us. One person didn't care much for the spices in the fried chicken dish. I ordered the Vegan Ramen noodles and at first I thought it needed some more flavor. But, as I continued eating it, it grew on me and I ended up liking it. My wife also had that and liked it a lot. My daughter ordered the vegetarian dish and said it was 'ok'. Another person had a Caesar Salad and thought the dressing had a touch too much of the anchovy flavor, and I agreed. The ambience was wonderful, but the service was just fair. We had to wait for silverware and asked for lemons, which my wife ended up getting for the table. We have heard lots of good things about the place and so with the higher prices, I expected more. I felt the prices were a bit too high. The food all came out pretty fast. We don't feel that it is a place we would rush back to or even go back to. Maybe it was an off night for them. I would give a solid 3.5 stars, but as I can't do that, and due to a few things, they will get 3 stars. Sorry about that...

Seating was a little shakey but the server and food made up for it. Dinner was spot on and well worth the price.

Our server was awesome, the meals were great, I'll start with the server, he brought us a couple of drinks and left us to look over the menu. I filled my glass with a bottle of beer and noticed the glass was chipped along the rim. The place was hopping so I didn't get to catch him until he took our food order. I showed him the glass and he apologized and said he'd be back after putting in the order. In just a couple minutes he returned with a new glass, new bottle of beer and another apology. I've had similar issues at other facilities but he handled it better, and more professionally than any of them. I did think the manager could have stopped by, not looking for a free drink just to say we're sorry... my date and I both had their version of the choose two section. She had loaded baked potato and said it was great, and she got the chicken breast sandwich which she said was very good. To drink she had a margarita, no salt, and said it was good. I had the wedge salad and it was so large I couldn't even try my sandwich. I did eat it at home and the salmon blt was very good. I recommend this place and while we lucked out hitting a busy place on a Friday night without reservations, my date beat me there and got seated when a table opened up. The host took me to the table the moment I said I was meeting a lady there. Parking can be tuff, my date parked several rows away from the entry and if it had been raining that would have been a pain. I believe the location is the old Wild Horse Creek Pub on Long road. I dressed in casual jeans and a dress shirt and I hit between the families with kids and older couples out for a dressed up dinner. It is fairly noisy if you're looking to have a quiet conversation.

Firefly was a fairly decent place, easy location to find in Chesterfield with plenty of parking…read moreavailable. The restaurant is a bit loud, but we didn't mind it, it was a busy Saturday night. Bar service was great, table service was lacking. We started with a few drinks (margaritas) and they were quite good. For an app, we got the wings with firefly sauce, the sauce was really good and the wings were cooked perfect. For dinner, we had the filet mignon with potatoes and green beans as well as the creamy Cajun pasta. The filet was overcooked, but had really good flavor, the green beans with bacon were lackluster. The Cajun pasta was quite tasty, but it really lacked protein (only a few slices of a sausage and a few shrimp). We had the salted caramel bread pudding for dessert, it was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, the experience was okay, food was good enough. Worth a try if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

So finally made it here..! We reserved a month in advance through their insta page where they post…read more all their upcoming events. We got in around 6.30 pm to enjoy drinks on the patio. It is tucked away in cottleville and is like dining at someone's home. The host and hostess were warm and welcoming! Each dish was explained in detail and there were personal touches on every aspect of the meal. The meal itself was brought out course by course and each dish was spectacularly plated. We opted for cocktails but you can go for wine pairing as well. No review or picture can do justice to this meal- you have to experience it yourself. Well worth the cost!

We've been here several times for their wine pairing dinners, and I am always completely blown away; and that's putting it mildly. The space is just gorgeous. There's this moment when you're driving up in the dark, and suddenly you see this illuminated farmhouse in all of its glory, and you just know it's going to be a special evening. Their wine pairing dinners sell out quickly, so keep your eyes on their website and social media. I'd also recommend waiting for a dinner when you know you're going to love every single course, only because the dinners are quite expensive. We recently went to their white truffle dinner and had, hands down, the best dining experience of our lives. Show up early--I believe you can get to your table an hour before the dinner begins--and let their talented team craft you a cocktail. From there, you can definitely expect top-tier plates and expertly-paired wines. Truly, it's just a delightful experience from beginning to end. I'm always so shocked that this is all going down in Cottleville! We'll be back many times, if we're lucky.

I'm sorry we waited so long, this was an excellent lunch. There were three of us and we split an order of steamed pork dumpling, an order of steamed chicken dumplings and a smashed cucumber salad. All were very good. I probably prefer the pork, while Ms T prefers the chicken. Regardless I enjoyed them both. They are clearly fresh and house made. The meat is of good quality and nicely seasoned. The dumpling wrapper itself is not too heavy, so the whole thing works well together. We also enjoyed the cucumbers as a refreshing cold side to go with the piping hot dumplings. Dumpling servings are six and I can see Ms T and I splitting an order for lunch on occasion. With a salad, it would be plenty of food. This is a great find and very convenient for us. KT who accompanied us, is much more expert regarding soup dumplings than we are. She declared them to be the best she has had in St Louis! Good to know.
