The food was absolutely amazing in a cozy yet upscale cottage ambiance. Many simple classics made with produce from the farm which equals a fresh wow factor. The fact chef takes his time to serve drinks and food was a very nice touch. Disappointed two items which should have come out warm arrived cold, including our soup. I left very satisfied and full, but my husband left still hungry. I'd say each course came about 30 minutes after the next and by the time the next course came he was starving. Everyone is served at the same time so their is definitely no chance in "rushing" the tastings. Hard to pay a hefty price for dinner and still need to get food on the way home. If you are an early to bed person or have something to do early the next day, this is not your place! We weren't expecting a 4 hour dinner....I think we were ready for bed by course 3 to be honest.

We love dining at Stone Soup during their special brunch and dinner events. The food is always amazing as well as the service. We love the ambiance of the old farm house and grounds and it's always decorated so beautifully for the season! I would highly recommend going to one of their events and don't forgot they have an amazing wine selection!

We have been trying to get a reservation for months and when we saw that they were closing, we were devastated! Thank goodness they opened back up for seasonal dinner series. I recommend following on instagram. This is where they post when their tickets go live. We attended the Spring Dinner series. They also offered a Parisian Brunch but that was sold out. There were 5 courses total and each were great! The wine pairing was exquisite. You can tell it is a family establishment. The chef's wife was the Sommelier and their son and daughter were the waiters. The chef personally came out with each course to explain the dish. The vibe is cozy and romantic. We can't wait to try the brunch!

Stone Soup Cottage is a delightful dining experience. Every month the menu changes. Located I believe on a farm, we almost passed the place up. I'm not too familiar with Cottellville and I'm pretty sure I just misspelled it. It looks as if it's in an old home but I think building is new. No matter, it's very charming and would be a great place for an engagement party or special event. They have a large patio that I can imagine would be great when the weather permits. The night we were there, it was hot and only early June. They have a very large gravel lot so no problems with parking. The menu is 6/7 courses. Sorry, it's been a while. Check the website for the current offerings. Everything was really good. The chef delivers most of the food and explains it to all at the table. If you like, you can order the wine flight which is a separate charge. I wouldn't pass this up as the wines were very good and well paired with the food. A separate server served the wine and answered questions. They do have a full bar with drink specials. We had Champagne at the beginning of the meal and there was no extra charge. If you have a special occasion and want something different, try Stone Soup Cottage. Make reservations early as they sell out!!

Okay so I have been dying to visit this place. Jeez is hard to get in. We made reservations more than 3 months in advance. But the wait was so totally worth it. Stone soup cottage is tucked away in Cottleville, down a winding private road. At the end of the road is a parking lot and stone soup cottage. It is a dimly lit farmhouse style venue large wooden doors and panels and understated elegance. I didn't get many pictures because it was so cozy and it seemed like a shame to click away and spoil the mood. Long story short, they have a 6 course menu and amuse bouche with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine with an option to get a wine pairing with each course. They also have wine, beer and cocktails. The place setting is formal and with a multitude of knives and forks, the portions are small and perfect and the leisurely paced. It is a very enjoyable experience . It is unlike any meal I've had in years. The food was delicious but I won't go into details because the menu changes every month. It is a truly wonderful and luxurious experience for a special occasion with a special someone.

I attended a wedding here. I loved everything about it. The service and food were unparalleled. The ceremony was outside, and the setting was very pretty. The atmosphere inside is warm and comfortable but modern. I loved the colors and the decor. The tablescape was simple but really elegant. We had a five-course plated tasting, and each course was delicious. The smoked mussel chowder was probably my favorite. I had a glass of cab, which was great, but they had paired a Bordeaux with dinner, which was even better. The bread was also excellent as well. I wanted to use it to sop up my soup and sauces, but the butter they served with it was so good, too! I didn't order any cocktails, but others who did said they were all great. The service was excellent. They very much go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dining experience. I think if they didn't have something you wanted, they'd probably go out and buy it for you. Probably one of the best dining experiences I've had. The couple who got married are super foodies, and it says a lot that they shelled out to have their wedding here.

    Great presentation.

Cottage to Carriage was an excellent experience! She crab soup was amazing. Braised Beef Rib was fall apart tender. The Ginger Gateau with Lemon Curd was heavenly. Along with the bottle of French wine the meal was superb!

There isn't a hostess stand, but a server saw us and came and told us to sit wherever we would like. There are about a dozen tables in there and I believe they all seat two, but staff would push them together for larger groups. When we got there, there were a fair number of tables open and by the time we left, people were waiting for tables. There are also four seats at a counter. It's not a huge space, but it's a decent size and really cute! We ordered our lattes and checked out the menu. We had to make hard decisions because everything sounded good! We decided we were going to get savory crepes. We both really enjoyed our meals - it was so good! Our server (can't remember her name) was great! I booked a 6:15 PM reservation through OpenTable, something I highly recommend because this place fills up quickly, especially on weekends. We arrived a few minutes early at 6:08 PM, and our server, Maddie, greeted us right at the front with a warm smile and seated us immediately. Her friendliness set the tone for the entire evening. The moment we stepped inside, the ambiance struck us. Napoli 3 has such a romantic, intimate atmosphere, dim lighting, elegant décor, and a cozy layout that makes it perfect for anniversaries, date nights, or any celebration where you want the night to feel special. It truly felt like the ideal setting for marking 18 years together. To our surprise and delight, the staff brought out complimentary sparkling white wine to toast our anniversary. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel celebrated. They also served their hot bread, which was decent, warm and soft, but not quite as memorable as the bread service at some other restaurants. Still, it was a nice start. For drinks, I ordered a Sauvignon Cabernet to pair with my 16 oz ribeye steak, while my wife chose the Chicken Piccata. We also decided to share the Fried Calamari as our appetizer. The calamari arrived piping hot, clearly fresh out of the pan, and perfectly crispy. The marinara sauce was rich and flavorful, and the spicy aioli added a great kick. It was one of the better calamari plates we've had in a while. Then came the entrées, and this is where the night went from great to unforgettable. My ribeye steak might just be my new favorite in St. Louis. Cooked to a perfect medium, it was juicy, tender, and seasoned beautifully. I've always considered Annie Gunn's the gold standard for steak in the area, but honestly, Napoli 3 may have surpassed it for me. The peppercorn sauce I ordered on the side was outstanding, creamy, peppery, and the perfect complement to the steak. My wife's Chicken Piccata was equally impressive. The sauce was bright, buttery, and full of flavor, with just the right balance of lemon and capers. The sides, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and truffle fries, were all excellent and paired wonderfully with both dishes. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and well-executed. From start to finish, the entire evening felt special. The service, the atmosphere, the food, and the little anniversary touches all came together to create a perfect night for us. After 18 years of marriage, it's moments like these that feel extra meaningful, and Napoli 3 delivered in every way. I couldn't be happier with our experience, and we'll absolutely be returning.

In fact, our waiter, Todd, was very attentive and even slowed down another server who was going to bring us our salads (a house and a caesar with anchovies) before we had a chance to finish our appetizer (a savory and spicy jambalaya arancini). Good catch on his part. We both had a glass of prosecco to start and then split a bottle of French pinot noir (Domaine de Valmoissine) to go with our entrees (steak tip pasta and steak frites). My wife loved the pasta dish (fresh pappardelle with steak tips, demiglace cream sauce and shiitake mushrooms) and my steak was perfectly prepared medium-rare with crisp and flavorful garlic fries and a side of green beans and shiitake mushrooms.
