We had lower expectations just knowing how busy this place is being right on Main St and going on such a beautiful evening. We were beyond blown away by our experience! Our server Kaylee was fantastic. So attentive and making sure our food came in a timely manner but nicely spaced out to give us time to enjoy. All of our food was delicious, the chicken wings were perfect and everyone loved them and the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly. Everyone in our party loved their main courses as well. They even made our daughter feel so special and helped us celebrate her 9th birthday with a delicious treat and candle! We all said we will be back and bring our friends and family. Such an amazing meal and experience!

This restaurant is really fantastic. We came to St. Charles this time around for the Christmas Traditions Festival. I knew I'd need a reservation to come here, so I booked well in advance. We were seated in the main dining room and it was so cozy, beautiful ambiance. I ordered their chocolate orange martini from the holiday cocktail menu and it did not disappoint. My husband and I both got their French onion soup and Diver scallop dinner special, which was to die for! No room for dessert sadly but the food was amazing. I will definitely continue to go back when I'm in the area!

The Main House is delicious! The filet is 10/10. Fun atmosphere and good service. Large drink menu and reasonably priced for the quality and portions. Definitely one of the best restaurants on Main Street.

Another first time WIN for the books. My goal is to knock out everything on Main Street so I was pretty excited to try this spot. Upon pulling up, I thought it was like a store , didn't really look like a restaurant, but I was pretty impressed with how nice the seats were and the decor. When we walked in, they weren't too crowded and we were immediately greeted and taken to the seat. I requested booth and they set up in line with no problems so I really like that. They had brunch menu and regular menu so we decided to try something from each. I had the fried chicken sandwich and my friend had the waffles and breakfast slider. We decided to try the fried chicken sandwich, waffle, breakfast slider and the ravioli as an appetizer as I'm making my goal to try everybody's ravioli in St. Louis lol. I was not disappointed with any of the food. Everything was fresh and Great taste. The customer service was good and fast. The restaurant was clean and I would visit again to try more things..

First time here. Very nice ambiance. Sunday night still busy. Foods taste great. We loved our orders. The only thing is that everything seems so pricey. Chicken dishes around $25 to $30, steaks are from $40 to $75, seafood is around $40-$50. We ordered pork chop and Chicken both are really good.

Sunny afternoon meant we were already aiming for an outdoor seating. The Main House did not disappoint! Gorgeous view of the river. We split a dinner portion of fish and chips, it was delicious. Definitely try it.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is top-notch, and the service is excellent. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is quaint and cosy. When it's warm make sure to grab a seat on their beautiful patio.

We really enjoyed our first visit to The Main House. We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful evening. You can see Frontier Park & the river from the patio. The inside looked quaint and inviting with lots of wood framing the dining area. We were greeted warmly by everyone and our server and others gave us lots of attention and were very kind. We chose the hanger steak & tenderloin as our entrees. They were both phenomenal, but we agreed the tenderloin was just perfection. The mashed potatoes served with the tenderloin really sealed that choice as well. It's the best steak & potatoes I've had at a restaurant in a long while. For dessert we chose the chocolate cake & bread pudding. Again we both preferred the bread pudding, but both were delicious. I already can't wait to return!

Bar hopping..Stop #1 Outside patio , open , plenty of seating but I opted to sit at the bar . Melinda and staff were very friendly and welcoming . Inside nice, clean and spacious. Two sides of the building , bar area and dining area is colorful , spacious and elegant. I ordered a blackberry lemon drop and a nutter butter. Ingredients are on menu listed below. Blackberry lemon drop was fruity and delicious. Nutter butter was a chocolate delight to chocolate lovers. The peanut butter is the hidden ingredient of this dessert drink. Prices reasonable and food menu does look yummy. Next visit I will try food choices.

    Deviled Eggs

Our first time at The Main House. We went for lunch so we could sit on the patio on a beautiful day. Food was great, started with the deviled eggs, and for my entree I got the deli sandwich. Fries were pretty great. My bf got the Mac n cheese with chicken and a side of broccoli. He enjoyed his meal and was excited that the broccoli was seasoned. Paul was our server and he was great! Friendly and checked in on us frequently to make sure things were okay.

The Main House was a most fabulous "woops". My boyfriend and I were trying to make reservations at a different restaurant in which we had recently dined and enjoyed but we couldn't remember the name. So we searched for outdoor dining in St. Charles. We thought this was it and made a reservation. As we were walking to our intended destination we passed The Main House and thought "oh, this looks good" and quickly realized our mistake. Reservation was definitely necessary to secure outdoor dining but there appeared to be room inside. I ordered the beet and butternut squash salad. My boyfriend got the wedge. They had some delicious sounding specials but I took a risk and ordered the filet. I'm incredibly picky about how my steak is prepared but I had a feeling this was a good bet. The service was friendly and attentive. Food was served by kitchen staff so it never sat under a warmer and wait time was minimal even on a busy night. This was the absolute best steak I have ever had in my life. The outside was seared with just a hint of grill char and the inside was the stuff of steak dreams. Absolute perfection. My date got the Halibut special and was equally impressed. We got the flourless chocolate torte with cherries for dessert and immediately added this restaurant to a new regular favorite. I'm learning that St. Charles fine dining has more choices than I thought but The Main House should be on everyone's must try list.

We were enjoying a beautiful sunny afternoon - after several days of rain - in the beautiful old section of St Charles along the river. We stopped at The Main House for lunch and were seated at some great seats on the patio with views of the street and down towards the river. There were four of us (my wife and I, along with her sister and brother-in-law). Our waiter was fantastic. He kept telling us that The Main House's fries were the best on the street (they were pretty darn good). Overall - fantastic service and excellent food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good place in St Charles.

My filet au poivre and my husband's French dip were forgettable at best. My steak was overcooked (ordered medium rare and came out close to medium well). With such a lean cut of meat, the overcooking of it ruined it. The Au poivre sauce which likely had cognac needed to be cooked off as it was extremely bitey (and salty). There was no peppery flavor at all. My cocktail, on the other hand, was delicious and well made (old fashioned) and our server was efficient, helpful, and timely. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere. I've had the crab cake before so I didn't get it this time, and it's as good as people say. It is huge and can be shared with at LEAST two people. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I booked a 6:15 PM reservation through OpenTable, something I highly recommend because this place fills up quickly, especially on weekends. We arrived a few minutes early at 6:08 PM, and our server, Maddie, greeted us right at the front with a warm smile and seated us immediately. Her friendliness set the tone for the entire evening. The moment we stepped inside, the ambiance struck us. Napoli 3 has such a romantic, intimate atmosphere, dim lighting, elegant décor, and a cozy layout that makes it perfect for anniversaries, date nights, or any celebration where you want the night to feel special. It truly felt like the ideal setting for marking 18 years together. To our surprise and delight, the staff brought out complimentary sparkling white wine to toast our anniversary. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel celebrated. They also served their hot bread, which was decent, warm and soft, but not quite as memorable as the bread service at some other restaurants. Still, it was a nice start. For drinks, I ordered a Sauvignon Cabernet to pair with my 16 oz ribeye steak, while my wife chose the Chicken Piccata. We also decided to share the Fried Calamari as our appetizer. The calamari arrived piping hot, clearly fresh out of the pan, and perfectly crispy. The marinara sauce was rich and flavorful, and the spicy aioli added a great kick. It was one of the better calamari plates we've had in a while. Then came the entrées, and this is where the night went from great to unforgettable. My ribeye steak might just be my new favorite in St. Louis. Cooked to a perfect medium, it was juicy, tender, and seasoned beautifully. I've always considered Annie Gunn's the gold standard for steak in the area, but honestly, Napoli 3 may have surpassed it for me. The peppercorn sauce I ordered on the side was outstanding, creamy, peppery, and the perfect complement to the steak. My wife's Chicken Piccata was equally impressive. The sauce was bright, buttery, and full of flavor, with just the right balance of lemon and capers. The sides, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and truffle fries, were all excellent and paired wonderfully with both dishes. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and well-executed. From start to finish, the entire evening felt special. The service, the atmosphere, the food, and the little anniversary touches all came together to create a perfect night for us. After 18 years of marriage, it's moments like these that feel extra meaningful, and Napoli 3 delivered in every way. I couldn't be happier with our experience, and we'll absolutely be returning.
