The biggest difference I notice is how disconnected the business now feels from the local community. Goodwood had more of a local identity and presence. I would like to see more visible involvement with local organizations, schools, events and the people who actually live here. I'm not against a new owner, a new name or a new concept. There didn't appear to be any table service so my husband walked up to the bar and placed our order. We believe there was only one person working there that night. She was working the bar, cooking, and delivering drinks and food to tables. And she was pleasant! The place is small, dirty, and it was super loud. People were vaping like crazy and I don't believe most places allow that. I'm not a fan of being around it. Not a great atmosphere! There was no way I was going to use the women's restroom after my husband reported back on the men's room. He said the door was hard to close because it was somewhat hanging off the hinges. He could barely turn around in there because it's so small. He said it was disgustingly dirty. The pluses were they there was water, soap, and paper towels, and there were no live bugs. The food was very average. Supposedly the Larry Burger is great. It was not. It was very average. It was thicker than most burgers, but that's about it.
