I ordered a salad for dinner and hubby had the BLT. The salad was fresh and the portion size was huge. It had so many toppings, that it was almost too many, but I'm not complaining. Robin, was the bartender and server for everyone in the bar and she was fantastic! She was super attentive to everyone and very friendly and professional. My wife and I found this Diamond in the rough on Yelp. We had probably driven by here a hundred times before. There is no sign on the building however it's inside the Professional Firefighters hall. The bar is open to the public so when you come in walk up the steps and there it is. The service was awesome. The bartender, I believe her name was Angela was awesome. Amazing attitude and very very attentive. We got there right before a graduation of firefighters ended. Thank God we did because the place went from 2 of us to about 100 very quickly. Angels kept up with everyone and never got an attitude which was awesome. The food is good not great but that's all we expected. Decent menu selection , good prices on the drinks. If you are in Saint Peters give this place a try. The decor alone makes it worth a trip. read more

Great place. We had the special of the day, it was a pepper jack stuffed cheeseburger with all the fixins and a sriracha aioli. It was one fantastic burger! Fries were solid, seasoned nicely. Came in for lunch with a family of three by finding this location on Yelp. Very confusing entrance was the first impression, no signage to restaurant. Typical bar atmosphere was fine. Menu prices were very high and do not match the images in the listing. Pretzels were very good. Wings were good but very small. Pizza was very saucy. Burger was ordered medium and had no pink. Young lady serving was more interested in the few regulars at the bar. We were listening to their conversation about the restaurant having fruit flies. That was a complete turn off. My husband and I love this place. The employees are so nice and food is out of this world good for bar food. Brenda the main cook is simply talented at her craft!!! Always our go to place, my husband practically eats lunch here everyday. They have great lunch specials for only $5 and you get so much food. Our favorite is the buffalo chicken wrap, meatloaf on Tuesday for lunch special, cheeseburger-perfect. Pepper jack bites are delish and they recently changed vendors so they no longer carry my very favorite guacamole bites!! Please bring them back. Guaranteed to have our business on a daily basis! Great place for a good time! Several specialty wraps and flatbread pizzas that are creative and delicious. The service is friendly and prompt. Very friendly neighborhood atmosphere makes it a great place to watch a game or just have an interesting conversation with friends or even some of the regulars. Just finished eating at Vinnys based on other positive reviews and have to say it was not good. It is simply a bar with food. Part of the issue could be the bartender/ waitress who was terrible. When asking about the most popular appetizers she said that they didn't really sell any and then told us that the nachos are really good. So, we ordered nachos and a burger and the turkey club (the turkey club was not advertised in the menu). When she asked if I wanted fries or onion rings, I asked what came with the sandwich and she said either, so I ordered fries. Come to find out, the fries are an additional $1.50. We were also charged for two drinks, which we did not order- you might think that's understandable if they were packed, but they were not- there was one other couple there. The food... Well, The nachos were what you typically can buy at a gas station with a little meat thrown on and a few tomatoes and lettuce. The burger was over- cooked. The turkey club was fine. There is certainly nothing special about this establishment's food. We will not be back. Additionally, they still allow smoking inside. This place is somehow connected to the firefighters hall, and there is sand volleyball going on outside. Chalk this place up to a poolside concession stand - maybe a half a notch higher and there you have it. read more
