We have visited Bemos several times over the last few months. We live super close but for some reason just didn't visit often. That has officially changed! Their food and service is amazing! We love that they have an enclosed patio that is heated as well - so of course we can bring our dog with us! They are always happy to provide a burger patty for our pup to snack on, as well! Highly recommend the fried asparagus! Only negative is....there were two occasions we tried going and they said the patio was closed for private events. Sort of wish they would post that info on their social media since they do purposely advertise the patio as being pet friendly - so if it's closed, it's not like we can just go in the main restaurant space, without going back home dropping our dog off and then going back. read more

Large restaurant bar, pretty busy on a Monday evening. We were greeted and seated right away. Took a minute for the waitress to stop by, she was friendly and took our drink orders. She brought our drinks and said she would be back to take our order. We wanted appetizers but when our server came back, she was ready to take our food order, so we ordered apps and food at the same time... We shouldn't have been surprised that everything came at the same time. When she came back to check on us, I don't think she noticed that all our food was there at the same time. She seemed like she might have been new. The food was fine, I ordered fried shrimp tacos, described as crispy shrimp in sweet chili sauce, warm flour tortillas, spicy cabbage, and mango salsa. the spicy cabbage seemed to be more of a mayo based coleslaw and it made the taco very wet. Wings, French Dip, Burger, BBQ Nachos, and French Fries were ok, the best liked dishes were the Pot Roast and the Beef Stroganoff. Really enjoyed eating dinner at Bemo's in Cottleville! We parked in the back which I would recommend because it was very crowed with it being Friday night. The service was great - the employees were friendly and seated us fast. There's a lot of food variety offered so truly something for everyone. I ordered the southwest prime rib. Really loved it with the Chipotle Mayo sauce. It was served with fries but when I go back I'd probably opt to sub it out for mashed potatoes. My grandma and brother both ordered the chicken Marsala which came with green beans and mashed potatoes. For dessert, my brother ordered the Mannio's Market peach pie which made us also want to go try out that local grocery store soon. My brother said it was a tad cold and a lot of crust. LOVED this outdoor seating and service. The covered patio was a hit. For a lunch date, it was nice to be outside but not be affected by the windy weather. Their menu is so tantalizing and gives you many choices to try. But we instantly read about the Seared Salmon and knew that was our best choice. Honorable mentions: Chicken Madiga, Chicken Marsala, any of the salads! I'm eager to go again to try anything else. We love this place. As far as atmosphere, it has something for everyone. A large covered patio, a bar, or a dining room area. It also offers a large back room for private parties. The only downside is there is not a lot of room to be while waiting for a table unless you stand outside. The food is always delicious! Great everything!!!! Serve, ambience and food. It's always busy on the weekend, so it is a little noisy, but I didn't mind. I love the Salmon BLT. (it's not in the menu) but you can sit order. Stopped on a Saturday night and didn't take into account they would be packed due to some sporting event on all of the tv's. This place felt like a large, family restaurant/bar to me. Luckily, they were able to seat us without too much of a wait and I credit the wonderful hostess for that! I had the Hill Salad and hubby had the Last Resort Burger. They were both very good and we wouldn't hesitate to order them again. The other food at the table looked great and no one had any complaints about any of their orders. Great service, We were a tad overheated from wondering around the area before our reservation, which they graciously adjusted 30 mins later for us. Our table was waiting and the server noticed our distress and got us ice water as soon as we sat down, and made sure it was kept full! I had the steak sandwich less the peppers and my wife had pappardelle with a pesto sauce. Both were outstanding, even in our less than optimum condition. We came here for a rehearsal dinner so they had a set menu. I will say, for first impressions this place hit the mark! I ordered the salmon and green beans and it was cooked to perfection. The service was very good seeing how our server was taking care of another large table and several others. Great job! The food was great. Everything was fresh well prepared there was a small wait for some of the entrees but there was 10 of us and stuff happens. The server was very apologetic and made things right without getting a manager involved. Again, great job. I had the shrimp and grits. Fantastic! Entry to the bar-like lower level from the rear parking lot offers access to the upper level dining room. Or, enter directly to the upper level from the front entrance. The dark wood interior could serve for fine or casual dining. However, Bemo's certainly isn't stuffy. Overall, our visit was acceptable but several miscues made it less than exceptional. It ended with a 1.5% credit card fee automatically added to the bill. We paid cash and the .40 on our approximate $25 tab for two seemed too little to debate and recover. The fee is noted on the bill, but it would have been nice for it to be disclosed before the bill was rung up. Our meals were good, but there were ordering issues and three of four diners didn't get exactly what they thought they'd ordered. My single kebab meal came with two vegetable sides. I asked to substitute another vegetable for mashed potatoes. From the server's explanation I thought I ordered mixed veggies. I actually ordered a double portion of garlic green beans. They were well prepared but it was a surprise to see a large mound of beans rather than mixed vegetables. A second diner thought she also was getting mixed veggies with her two kebabs and potatoes. The third diner ordered chicken Caesar salad, which we all heard, but the plate arrived without chicken and the server said it wasn't in her notes. Past that confusion my kebab was four chunks of grilled chicken that had lost much moisture, plus some green pepper, red onion, and tomato slices. The grilled veggies were excellent. I came to Bemos while visiting Missouri this week. This is a great casual dining restaurant with a variety of dishes for everybody. We were seated right away even though they seemed pretty busy. The restaurant was nice inside with plenty of seating and comfortable booths. The food was pretty good. I had the bbq chicken salad. It was the perfect amount of salad and was very flavorful. They also have a great selection of beers and other drinks. I would recommend Bemos for anybody looking for a fun and casual dinner and/or drinks. read more

Long time goer of Bemos, its been great for years for any occasion. We recently celebrated my moms 60th birthday with 15 people. Our server operated our large with ease and was very nice about us lightly decorating the table and chairs for our celebration. Food and drinks all came in a timely manner, especially for the younger ones; they brought their food out asap to avoid fussiness. Food portions are fair- not too big, not too small. I really enjoyed my experience at Bemo's. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We were there seated in the back room for my parents anniversary dinner. The waitress was extremely friendly and took great care of us. The food was very tasty, I had the shrimp and grits. Very creamy and lots of flavor. We ordered the chicken strip platter and the chicken was nicely breaded and juicy. The fries are next level, probably my favorite fries from a restaurant around here. The cocktail I got was very underwhelming though. Definitely tasted the pineapple juice but hardly tasted the alcohol. My sister had the espresso martini and I tried that but it was the same story, very underwhelming. If you wanted a drink with your dinner I would just suggest a glass of wine or a beer. Maybe the bartender was having an off night but I wouldn't recommend cocktails based off of my experience so far. Overall though, a very good experience and I will be returning read more

Stopped by Bemo's for lunch with a large group of family this week after a funeral. The staff knew we were coming in advance, and had arranged for us to have an outside patio room all to ourselves. The staff was fantastic! Even though we had more than 20 people in our group, drinks were served quickly, and the food order came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I tried the fish tacos and they were great. The fish was lightly-battered, and served piping hot! I order fish tacos quite frequently, and I can honestly say this is one of the best I've had in quite some time. I'd recommend Bemo's for a meal at any time during the day! read more

We dined here with another couple on Saturday evening. The place was crowded and initially we were seated in a booth in the corner which is usually a great place for a quiet dinner where we could easily dine and converse with our friends. But unfortunately, next to our booth there was a party of at least 20 people and several women who were oblivious to their surroundings and so loud that we had to move to another booth which was not directly next to them. Even after we moved, the noise coming from that group was overbearing. Fortunately, once their food arrived they stoped talking and started eating so all was well again at Bemos. As far as our meal went I enjoyed the "Simply Salmon" which was delicious and well priced. This restaurant is a great find and the food/drinks are good and reasonably priced. This would have been 5 star review had it not been for the noise coming from a party that should have been seated in a private area OR should not have been allowed to have a "private gathering" in a public space. read more
