The food is good. I've always enjoyed this place. However, the last time we went we were seated in one of those goofy booths that you sit in a half circle and the sun was shining directly in our eyes, even though they pulled the shade down. We were told that the meadows would not allow them to tint their windows, which is so annoying. It truly dining experience. read more

We made a reservation weeks prior for a lunch service and were not seated for an hour and fifteen minutes past our reservation without any acknowledgement nor apology from management. The food was delivered with missing ingredients: no sauerkraut on the Ruben and no spinach or mushrooms with the chicken madeira. Our server was kind, although again no real acknowledgment nor apology for the delays that we faced as the food took a very long time to receive as well. Ultimately, a disappointing experience from a long-standing decade and a half long customer and I doubt that I'll be going back anytime soon. read more

I enjoyed my visit at BC's Kitchen. Pleasantly surprised as the service was amazing and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the beet salad, pizza and salmon burger. Everyone ordered something different and we shared. But I was not ready for the best turtle cheesecake I ever had. It looks different than other turtle cheesecake but this is where the magic is. It was the winner of our entire meal as it was sooo good. We also ordered wings for appetizer and my date enjoyed them but I thought they were just okay. So it's was a split decision on wings. Everything else was show stoppers! Ambiance was also very nice. I love places where you can watch the chef prepare their masterpieces. It's full transparency which is always a plus. A visit to Lake St. Louis is not complete without a stop at BC's Kitchen. We had already eaten at another local restaurant, so we just enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. My friend and I are both fans of Mules, so we were delighted to see the Daily Special was a Mule. Mule of the Month was, Strawberry Basil Mule. It was made with vodka, strawberry basil syrup, ginger beer and served with a lime garnish. Of course, it was served in a traditional mug, which kept it chilled as we enjoyed the flavorful cocktail. The bartender was friendly and I enjoyed watching her masterfully make our cocktails and others as we sat at the bar. We also drooled over the foods that servers were taking to tables. Next visit to the Lake, we may do appetizers and bar hop instead of eating a complete meal at one place. I highly recommend BC's Kitchen for anyone who is visiting Lake St. Louis or for residents of the suburban area. It's a top-notch local restaurant. read more

BC's is a regular spot for us, we eat dinner here weekly. Our service is always great and servers & bartenders are knowledgeable. Ambience is nice and comfortable in my experiences, not too loud, not too fancy, but yet it is a classy place and the dining room is well run. I really enjoy all of the steaks I've had, t-bone being my go-to. The spicy Vietnamese stir fry is a great option and the burgers are very good. I typically have a local craft beer in draft, they always have five or six craft beers on tap. For dessert, the espresso martini is definitely a must try, they're excellent. BC's Kitchen is a perfect dinner spot in Lake St. Louis! My family has been coming here for years, and we always enjoy it. Parking is easy; there is a large lot outside the restaurant. There was a short wait without a reservation. We were directed to our seats, and I ordered the Hot Apple Cider. This drink was warm and spiced. The alcohol wasn't too strong, so it was perfect. As a table, we ordered the Baked CrabMeat Rangoon Dip. This is so good! It comes with Hot Mustard (It is hot!) and plum sauce. The dip is warm and savory pairing nicely with the Wonton Chips. The sauces also complement the dip nicely, the plum sauce is my favorite! We also got complimentary bread upon ordering our entrees, and this was a nice touch. The butter was salted and the bread was warm. For entrees, I ordered the Chicken Lasagna, and that came with a side salad. This dish was wonderful! The portion was large and definitely worth the price. The ricotta paired nicely with the pesto sauce, and the chicken was juicy and tender. The side salad (I ordered ranch dressing) was fresh and refreshing. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for our food, service was a little slow. Not sure why the listing says they have vegan options. We ordered the hummus thinking it was safe and it was covered with cheese. I did have the beet salad w/o cheese and it was tasty but I would not recommend eating here if you are vegan. We sat outside on the patio as it as nice outside. Staff is lovely. read more

5 Stars BC's Kitchen in Lake St. Louis is a fantastic spot! I've been there for lunch by myself after shopping at the Meadows and also brought my partner for a meal. I love how clean and open the space is, and being able to see the kitchen adds a nice touch to the dining experience. While it's on the pricier side, my boyfriend and I shared a pizza and found a budget-friendly option that worked perfectly for us. The pizza was absolutely delicious. My Tostada for lunch was HUGE. Met at the door by a nice person, who seated us promptly. A nice cozy dining room soft lighting. Not too loud. The food is good. I guess you would call some of it "eclectic "which means to me it's very expensive and there's not much of it! But you can't complain about this place everything is so tasty. I sit in the bar at times they have great specials during happy hour and they have all day happy hour on Sunday! Their pizza is good and all of the other things they make there are good. I have been to this restaurant once before. They have great ambiance, however, I really did not like how I was seated with my husband. We were in a nice cushy seat but we were facing other diners as well as the glaring sun. I would not want to be seated here again. The service was great even though it was very busy. I had a delicious stir fry with shrimp. It was very delicious with just a small amount of heat. I had a glass of red sangria. It was good. I usually have fruit in it but not this time. Haven't been here in a year or so and was looking forward to a nice lunch. The service was good and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere however I ordered a burger and it was disappointing due to the fact the meat had no seasoning on it whatsoever and it was a bit overcooked, the bacon on the burger was almost inedible and the fries were cold. We have been to BC's many times over the past 5 years and have enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. More recently there have been issues with the food taking a long time to be served and then when it arrives it is lukewarm to cold. This has happened our last two visits. I recently ordered the "Tostado Tower." The "crisp greens" promised were bagged coleslaw cabbage and carrots (an odd choice for a Mexican-inspired dish). The rice was overcooked and mushy as though it had been microwaved -it was also completely unseasoned and simply tossed with a handful of beans . The chicken was oddly sweet and tasted prepackaged. It was presented like a pile of slop. Other dishes are somewhat better (meaning , edible )-but all are far below what their current pricing demands . I stopped in to BC's for a quick dinner at the bar last night. I have done this many many times over the last 5 or 6 years. It's always been a reliable place for a good dinner and friendly service. Last night was not a pleasant experience. My friend and I waited for about 20 minutes to have our drink order taken. There were three women working in the bar area and twice they walked by and said "we'll be right with you" and walked away. The first time the waitress walked past our table and said she'd be right back, she went behind the bar and did a shot with the other bartender-and didn't come back to our table at all!
