Upscale but casual space with a wood burning oven and ceiling height wine racks. I had the small Cobb (no cheese) and it was perfect. Clyde's salmon with quinoa was light but filling. Our friend had the shrimp po' boy and he said it was delicious. Excellent, helpful service too! Recommend!

Looking for a great place for a nice dinner? How about a light salad and a good glass of wine? Want a wood fired pizza? Well- BC's Kitchen has it all. They are back in my rotation with some vegetarian options back on the menu. The open kitchen shows the fantastic work and culinary skills in real time. The service is great- never an empty water glass or lack of attention while allowing good conversation. This is a must stop for visiting guests, or a casual catch up or a date night!

I enjoyed my visit at BC's Kitchen. Pleasantly surprised as the service was amazing and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the beet salad, pizza and salmon burger. Everyone ordered something different and we shared. But I was not ready for the best turtle cheesecake I ever had. It looks different than other turtle cheesecake but this is where the magic is. It was the winner of our entire meal as it was sooo good. We also ordered wings for appetizer and my date enjoyed them but I thought they were just okay. So it's was a split decision on wings. Everything else was show stoppers! Ambiance was also very nice. I love places where you can watch the chef prepare their masterpieces. It's full transparency which is always a plus. I will be visiting again.

A visit to Lake St. Louis is not complete without a stop at BC's Kitchen. We had already eaten at another local restaurant, so we just enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. My friend and I are both fans of Mules, so we were delighted to see the Daily Special was a Mule. Mule of the Month was, Strawberry Basil Mule. It was made with vodka, strawberry basil syrup, ginger beer and served with a lime garnish. Of course, it was served in a traditional mug, which kept it chilled as we enjoyed the flavorful cocktail. The bartender was friendly and I enjoyed watching her masterfully make our cocktails and others as we sat at the bar. We also drooled over the foods that servers were taking to tables. Next visit to the Lake, we may do appetizers and bar hop instead of eating a complete meal at one place. I highly recommend BC's Kitchen for anyone who is visiting Lake St. Louis or for residents of the suburban area. It's a top-notch local restaurant.

BC's Kitchen is a perfect dinner spot in Lake St. Louis! My family has been coming here for years, and we always enjoy it. Parking is easy; there is a large lot outside the restaurant. There was a short wait without a reservation. We were directed to our seats, and I ordered the Hot Apple Cider. This drink was warm and spiced. The alcohol wasn't too strong, so it was perfect. As a table, we ordered the Baked CrabMeat Rangoon Dip. This is so good! It comes with Hot Mustard (It is hot!) and plum sauce. The dip is warm and savory pairing nicely with the Wonton Chips. The sauces also complement the dip nicely, the plum sauce is my favorite! We also got complimentary bread upon ordering our entrees, and this was a nice touch. The butter was salted and the bread was warm. For entrees, I ordered the Chicken Lasagna, and that came with a side salad. This dish was wonderful! The portion was large and definitely worth the price. The ricotta paired nicely with the pesto sauce, and the chicken was juicy and tender. The side salad (I ordered ranch dressing) was fresh and refreshing. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for our food, service was a little slow. Besides that, definitely a place I recommend eating at.

Not sure why the listing says they have vegan options. We ordered the hummus thinking it was safe and it was covered with cheese. I did have the beet salad w/o cheese and it was tasty but I would not recommend eating here if you are vegan. We sat outside on the patio as it as nice outside. Staff is lovely.

5 Stars BC's Kitchen in Lake St. Louis is a fantastic spot! I've been there for lunch by myself after shopping at the Meadows and also brought my partner for a meal. I love how clean and open the space is, and being able to see the kitchen adds a nice touch to the dining experience. While it's on the pricier side, my boyfriend and I shared a pizza and found a budget-friendly option that worked perfectly for us. The pizza was absolutely delicious. My Tostada for lunch was HUGE. Everything is fresh. The food and atmosphere are definitely worth it, and I'd love to come back for a nice dinner sometime soon!

First and last time coming to BC's Kitchen. We recently moved in the area and was given a gift card to did take out. We've been looking on their menu for a while now and nothing really looked the greatest. Cute area but way over priced for how average the food is. Angus Bacon Burger was completely raw in the middle. I understand there can be mistakes but a $20 burger shouldn't. Did not bother driving back and asking for a refund, won't be returning.

I came in and sat at the bar. It's always fun watching the bartender make delicious cocktails. The crab rangoon dip is a must! I'll be back for more.

I have been to this restaurant once before. They have great ambiance, however, I really did not like how I was seated with my husband. We were in a nice cushy seat but we were facing other diners as well as the glaring sun. I would not want to be seated here again. The service was great even though it was very busy. I had a delicious stir fry with shrimp. It was very delicious with just a small amount of heat. I had a glass of red sangria. It was good. I usually have fruit in it but not this time. We will probably be back again.

Last week I went again and was pleasantly surprised to find a Beyond cheesesteak on the menu. I don't eat dairy so i ordered it without cheese and went next door to Dierberg's to get some vegan cheese to put on it. It was absolutely delicious! The ambience was definitely bar like but it was not too crazy loud and my book club was easily able to have a conversation. Service was great, no complaints. Plenty of parking. Add a vegan cheese option and I would give it 5 stars.

We don't have many sit down restaurants near us mostly fast food so when The Post was built we…read morereally wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, that is just not the case. We've really tried to like it by giving it numerous try's and ordering something different each time in hopes of finding our favorite menu item. We still haven't found one item that just "wows" us, but at least we've found something that we are okay with ordering if we have an invite to go there. Also, if you do make a visit to The Post, they only give you a printed menu with some of their food items. You have to open your phone and scan a QR code to get the whole menu which a lot of people don't even know and miss out on other options. I've also ran into issues with their reward system not tracking points accordingly if that's something you like to do too. So here's my take away on both the good and the bad from the food we've ordered thus far: 1) Pizza - not a fan of the crust it's too crispy almost burnt and the sauce is lacking flavor. 2) Tater Tots - great substitute for traditional French fries 3) Gyro wrap - I love Greek food, but they do not have this mastered. It's a poor excuse for a gyro. I really don't believe that it's lamb meat. Tasted more like old beef and not enough of the great Greek veggies. 4) Boneless Wings - tried both the honey hot and the carolina gold and both were good 5) Memphis Wings - probably my favorite menu item as long as the wings are good portion sizes. I've had them a couple times and each time the portions have varied. One time they were very skimpy with little to no meat on them which is not good with this type of wing because the seasoning is more like a dry rub so when there's little meat it's pretty sad cause the wings have dried out meat on them. When the portions are decent the flavor is amazing! 6) Post-it Cheesy Bread - it's basically cheesy bread, but the dough is just not for my family. We find it to be too "doughy". We tried it once and agreed we didn't need it again. 7) Chef Salad - Very large portion with lots of ingredients and do order the ranch dressing because it's homemade and easily one of my favorite salad dressings of any restaurant. 8) Side Salad - this salad is also a generous portion considering it's a side salad, but the ingredients on this salad could be considered a bit odd to some. It's made up of lettuce, croutons, raw onions, green peppers and tomatoes. It's unusual not to have cheese on a salad and even odder to have green peppers on it. I don't think the average person thinks of peppers on a side salad and was a bit surprised when it arrived. The next time I ordered it, I made sure to have them removed along with the onions so I basically had lettuce, tomatoes and croutons left. I asked if they could substitute cheese and was told it would be $1.50 more which seemed like a lot for a side salad especially when it's normally standard plus I was taking things off of it. 9) Grilled Tuna Sandwich- Absolutely disgusting. Worst thing I've ever eaten there. I took two bites total and let the rest go to the trash it was that bad. 10) Sloppy Johnny - their take on a sloppy Joe which my spouse loves to order. It's his first choice when we dine there. 11) Smashburger - two small burger patties smashed with some cheese so it's kind of hard to screw this one up. 12) Buffalo Chicken Wrap - very basic could've used more Buffalo sauce flavoring as I tasted more of the wrap and lettuce than anything. 13) Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - tasted like too much fryer oil and not enough Buffalo sauce. Almost tasted like it was a frozen patty with sauce pre added to it. 14) Chicken Cheesesteak - Another sandwich I just couldn't bring myself to finish it was so odd in flavor. It was mediocre at best. Also, way too much bread for the amount of chicken they give you. 15) Black Bean Cheese Quesadilla - this is something that has been both on and off point and make sure you read the ingredients thoroughly on the menu as it's not prepared the way the title reads. It's actually a black bean and corn salsa that's put into the quesadilla which can make it way too runny or even mushy if not cooked just right. They don't offer a traditional quesadilla so you'll have to customize this one and risk getting charged extra for all your changes.i wish they would add a basic cheese quesadilla to the menu. Well that's my review of the food now for the environment and staff. Most of the wait staff and bartenders are very kind and attentive. The only staff member that seems unhappy there is the night manager. He's always walking around looking like he hates his job. There's plenty of TV's to catch your favorite sports broadcast and they often have side bar giveaways going on. The outdoor patio setting is a nice option weather permitting. All in all, it's an okay place but the food definitely needs a step up.

We kept things pretty simple and ordered scrambled eggs with link sausage, along with pancakes and French toast. The eggs unfortunately came out a bit cool and weren't especially fluffy. They had more of a scooped-from-a-tray feel rather than something freshly cooked to order. The sausage, however, was fresh and had a good flavor, which was probably the standout part of the plate. The pancakes and French toast were decent overall. The pancakes were nicely fluffy, but aside from that there wasn't anything particularly memorable about either item. Our waitress seemed extremely busy and a bit scattered, which made it feel like she may have had too many tables to manage at once. At one point we overheard her say "turn 'em and burn 'em" while referencing customers/tables, which was a little off-putting and not exactly something that inspires repeat visits. Overall, the experience was okay but not particularly memorable. Personally, it's probably not somewhere I'd rush back to, though it did seem like the older clientele there were enjoying themselves.
