My family and I come here as a tradition to celebrate ourselves. It was exceptional! Service was fast, food was delicious, and the restaurant wasn't too busy. For a cocktail, I ordered Annie's Electric Butterfly. It was quite tart and strong. For the table, we had complimentary bread. It was warm and fluffy; the butter was good too. We also ordered the Shrimp Ceviche. This was such a great summer appetizer! The flavor profile was nicely balanced with jalapeños, onion, tomato, and cilantro. For entrees, I ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta. It was a bit oily, but delicious! It definitely was a hearty meal. I also ordered a side salad with ranch. Very disappointed in food, but service was good people were kind. I am gluten and dairy free, I appreciated that they had a gluten free menu, I got slightly concerned when the waiter asked what was a gluten free menu. I wanted to keep it simple so I order the shrimp ceviche gluten free, the waiter asked me if I can eat wontons, i said no if there made from wheat flour, so he wrote down corn chips. My parent got a pizza he enjoyed. The ceviche was okay, the produce seemed fresh but lacked flavor. Half of the chips were very stale, some chips were almost chewy. I did not enjoy. Would not recommend the ceviche, felt like a waste of money as the chips were not enjoyable and the service size was small. read more

I enjoyed my visit at BC's Kitchen. Pleasantly surprised as the service was amazing and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the beet salad, pizza and salmon burger. Everyone ordered something different and we shared. But I was not ready for the best turtle cheesecake I ever had. It looks different than other turtle cheesecake but this is where the magic is. It was the winner of our entire meal as it was sooo good. We also ordered wings for appetizer and my date enjoyed them but I thought they were just okay. So it's was a split decision on wings. Everything else was show stoppers! Ambiance was also very nice. I love places where you can watch the chef prepare their masterpieces. It's full transparency which is always a plus. A visit to Lake St. Louis is not complete without a stop at BC's Kitchen. We had already eaten at another local restaurant, so we just enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. My friend and I are both fans of Mules, so we were delighted to see the Daily Special was a Mule. Mule of the Month was, Strawberry Basil Mule. It was made with vodka, strawberry basil syrup, ginger beer and served with a lime garnish. Of course, it was served in a traditional mug, which kept it chilled as we enjoyed the flavorful cocktail. The bartender was friendly and I enjoyed watching her masterfully make our cocktails and others as we sat at the bar. We also drooled over the foods that servers were taking to tables. Next visit to the Lake, we may do appetizers and bar hop instead of eating a complete meal at one place. I highly recommend BC's Kitchen for anyone who is visiting Lake St. Louis or for residents of the suburban area. It's a top-notch local restaurant. read more

BC's is a regular spot for us, we eat dinner here weekly. Our service is always great and servers & bartenders are knowledgeable. Ambience is nice and comfortable in my experiences, not too loud, not too fancy, but yet it is a classy place and the dining room is well run. I really enjoy all of the steaks I've had, t-bone being my go-to. The spicy Vietnamese stir fry is a great option and the burgers are very good. I typically have a local craft beer in draft, they always have five or six craft beers on tap. For dessert, the espresso martini is definitely a must try, they're excellent. Always a good dining option, or a good spot to just have drinks and an appetizer. read more

However, the last time we went we were seated in one of those goofy booths that you sit in a half circle and the sun was shining directly in our eyes, even though they pulled the shade down. Not sure why the listing says they have vegan options. We ordered the hummus thinking it was safe and it was covered with cheese. I did have the beet salad w/o cheese and it was tasty but I would not recommend eating here if you are vegan. We sat outside on the patio as it as nice outside. Staff is lovely. read more

We made a reservation weeks prior for a lunch service and were not seated for an hour and fifteen minutes past our reservation without any acknowledgement nor apology from management. The food was delivered with missing ingredients: no sauerkraut on the Ruben and no spinach or mushrooms with the chicken madeira. Our server was kind, although again no real acknowledgment nor apology for the delays that we faced as the food took a very long time to receive as well. Ultimately, a disappointing experience from a long-standing decade and a half long customer and I doubt that I'll be going back anytime soon. read more

I love how clean and open the space is, and being able to see the kitchen adds a nice touch to the dining experience. While it's on the pricier side, my boyfriend and I shared a pizza and found a budget-friendly option that worked perfectly for us. The pizza was absolutely delicious. My Tostada for lunch was HUGE. Everything is fresh. The food and atmosphere are definitely worth it, and I'd love to come back for a nice dinner sometime soon! read more

Terrible service and uncomfortable climate. Air-conditioning has been a problem for a year now, time to get that fixed. Had the worst server ever at BCs. Generally enjoyed the food, atmosphere service. Server ruined the entire night from slamming the wine glass on the table to spilling salad dressing to spending time with all her tables without even addressing ours. First time ever for leaving such a terrible tip. Moving forward I will order food to go to not deal with that again. read more

We've been looking on their menu for a while now and nothing really looked the greatest. Cute area but way over priced for how average the food is. I guess you would call some of it "eclectic "which means to me it's very expensive and there's not much of it! But you can't complain about this place everything is so tasty. I have been to this restaurant once before. They have great ambiance, however, I really did not like how I was seated with my husband. We were in a nice cushy seat but we were facing other diners as well as the glaring sun. I would not want to be seated here again. The service was great even though it was very busy. I had a delicious stir fry with shrimp. It was very delicious with just a small amount of heat. I had a glass of red sangria. It was good. I usually have fruit in it but not this time. We have been to BC's many times over the past 5 years and have enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. More recently there have been issues with the food taking a long time to be served and then when it arrives it is lukewarm to cold. This has happened our last two visits. Hopefully this will be rectified soon so we can continue to enjoy this restaurant. read more

Once a fine choice "out west," the food has devolved and is, in my experience, sub-par. The service is pleasant enough and attentive. But the food is bordering on hospital cafeteria fare. I recently ordered the "Tostado Tower." The "crisp greens" promised were bagged coleslaw cabbage and carrots (an odd choice for a Mexican-inspired dish). The rice was overcooked and mushy as though it had been microwaved -it was also completely unseasoned and simply tossed with a handful of beans . The chicken was oddly sweet and tasted prepackaged. It was presented like a pile of slop. Other dishes are somewhat better (meaning , edible )-but all are far below what their current pricing demands .
