My boyfriend and I stopped in for a casual lunch this afternoon. Service was great and let me tell ya, they are very efficient! Our food was at our table within two minutes of ordering. I highly recommend the tomato soup--perfect for a cold day. I also got a grilled cheese; it was solid, no frills. Zero complaints from us! Been a bit but didn't want to cook tonight in this current weather. Got my absolute fav, veggie pizza. Now that's not what you think of when you think of Pickleman's. They are a serious go to for sandwiches, soups, salads. However this pizza is one of my all-time favorites. It is absolutely loaded with veggies. And being the summer all the veggies were so fresh and tasty. They dust it with Parmesan also. But always the best part, they add jalapeños that send this pizza over the top and I highly recommend you try it. If you have not tried it you are truly missing out. read more

First off let me say the staff is always great! Friendly and quick. The place is also always clean as well. But the sandwiches are way too expensive for what they put on it which is next to nothing. My kid and I ordered the BLTC and Chipotle Chicken. I had maybe 3 tiny pieces of bacon on mine and my kid barely had any chicken. We literally ate bread and lettuce with mayo and Chipotle sauce. I used to love picklemans but the last 2 times has been nothing but bread. Too many other sandwich shops that put way more on their sandwiches for the same price to go back there. read more

Fantastic, only gets a 4 start review for the price to size ratio, $17 for a fairly small sandwhich and a drink is a little overpriced in my opinion, the quality of the meat, cheese, and bread absolutely made up for the price. Visited for lunch today, and they have changed the options for the pick-2 meal. You no longer can get the Italian beef as part of the pick-2 meal along with a few other sandwiches. They also don't offer a half sandwich option so I had to order a full sandwich. The sandwich was good. However the broccoli cheddar soup (which was my favorite) was thick and goopy (if that's a word). The bread that was served with the soup was cold! Had a pick-2 with tomatoe bisque and grilled cheese sandwich. Soup was OK (not great) but sandwich was very disappointing. First, they used regular hogie style bread which was way to much. Second, the cheese was mostly tasteless - a couple slices of a generic whiteish cheese. Third, it wasn't even grilled - it was broiled open face then top was put on. I brought this to the attention of the staff and they apologized, and said that's the way it was supposed to be prepared. I used the online ordering system on a Sunday evening. I had never been to a Pickleman's before. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni & giardiniera. Apparently I found this difficult because I mistakenly ordered it with pepperoni on only half of the pizza. My order was ready very quickly. My pizza was just OK. It didn't have a ton of flavor and the crust tasted like a premade disc, which I'm sure it. It was all fine but I'm probably not rushing back. read more

This was our second time going to Picklemans once in St.Charles and the other time in Ofallon. What a disapointment. They just do not put meat on their sandwiches, just bread and condiments. At the St. Charles store we got 2 chickens salad sandwiches. It was like they spread a small amount of chickens salad on the bread for the taste. Ridiculous, our bill was $19 for 2 sandwhiches with a small amount of spread. I wont be going back. The first time in Ofallon was the same just a few pieces of meat. I am done. Awesome! We got the italian club and hodge podge. They were excellent. The bread is crusty and soft, our favorite. Good quality deli style chips and soda selection. Staff was super friendly and quick. The interior and exterior were extremely clean. Overall, it was a great lunch. I can't wait to try the salads and pizza. read more

We love Pickleman's! In store you receive great service, it's clean (including the bathroom.) Delivery is quick and the food is hot. With delivery there have been times that drinks don't make it but they always refund. It's better to not order drinks. The last 2 times we did pick 2 and the half sandwich was not made as we asked but the standard way. It's still great. read more

Order from them quite a bit, usually good. Not today. Must admit paying $3.79 extra per half salad for adding chicken salad was a little high. Then to have the salads show up with less than 1/4 cup of chicken salad on each salad is a rip off. I see the full salads are the same price of $3.79 adder for chicken salad. Won't do this again. We received a very warm welcome when we walked in, which I found refreshing. The ordering has you look at the listing on a wall, and there are no paper copies. Since this was our first visit, it took us a few minutes to make our choices. I got a salad which was fine, nothing special. My daughter got a sandwich that she liked very much. We sat near the door, and about 10 minutes after we sat down, one of the workers began to clean the door with Windex. She was 3' from where I was sitting. So not only was she spraying chemicals right next to me, but then all I could taste or smell was Windex. I didn't even want to finish my salad. I ended up throwing it away which I hated especially since the plastic bowl and lid were not recyclable. All in all, just an ok and smelly experience. read more
