Grilled Fish Tacos, great flavors, love the mexican cheese crumbles on top.

great little bar and grill in the hotel, has just enough of the liquors and the food is pretty good. if staying at this hotel dont pass up the bishop grill. my go to is the grilled fish tacos!

I haven't been here in awhile, but I've usually had good experiences dining here. Tonight I came here alone while my wife was with some friends. There was a conference going on, so it was fairly busy in the restaurant. I was greeted by Cynthia, who provided me with exceptional service throughout the evening. She was the highlight of this particular dining experience. I ordered the fish tacos and a bowl of bacon clam chowder. The prices were reasonable. I had the fish tacos first and while I enjoyed the tacos, they weren't very filling and there were hardly any chips. The salsa also looked and tasted identical to Pace bottled salsa. Seems like they might be cutting corners. The bacon clam chowder had some nice flavors to it, but it was far too salty. I felt like I was eating sea water at times and it was challenging to finish it. I drank so much water to compensate for the added salt. That was probably the saltiest chowder I ever had. In summary, the food was mediocre. I would come back here again because I enjoy the ambiance and the service is usually quite nice. Cynthia was a great server and went out of her way to try to get some crackers for me for the soup, but she couldn't find any. No big deal - the soup was too salty anyway. I would recommend trying this restaurant if you're in the area. Don't go out of your way, but the food is acceptable, priced fairly, and better than eating fast food. I just wish they wouldn't cut corners on the small details that make a big difference.

Bishop Grill is located inside the Marriott hotel so it's super convenient... However the menu is extremely limited and it took forever to order a to go entrée even though I was sitting at the bar. Do yourself a favor and drive a mile or so to find far better fare.

4.5 stars! Cynthia was the most amazing server and hostess. Such a pleasure and a joy to talk to, and she made me feel right at home. For dinner I ordered the mixed green salad (adding avocado and hard-boiled egg) as well as an order of Korean BBQ wings. The salad was full of fresh, delicious greens, tart slices of green apple, blue cheese crumbles and candied pecans. Yum! I wish the avocado was cut into chunks instead of served as thick slices though, but that's just personal preference. I'd rather not have to knife-and-fork my salad (I'm clumsy!). I enjoyed the wings, even though I received an order of buffalo instead of Korean BBQ. Cynthia offered to have an order of Korean BBQ made for me, but the buffalo wings were so good (not too spicy and not too much sauce) that I decided to stick with them. During dinner, I also enjoyed a rum cocktail called the Jamaican Rainstorm. It was a very well balanced cocktail that just screamed "tropical vacation".

I really like this lobby restaurant as a meeting spot with friends in the San Ramon area. Super nice servers, easy and simple. Good food. I especially like the soft pretzel, and there was a special appetizer one night of meatballs and they were delicious!

Hubby was in the mood for some elegance so we migrated over to the Marriott where we've stopped in for drinks and apps awhile back. The company I work for always holds their holiday parties here. Lunch was very good. The salmon was moist, seasoned perfectly served w a grilled lemon halve which went great over the entire dish. They also accommodated my substitution for squash with green veggies (thankfully) and a side of jasmine rice (since there was no pilaf available). Hubby's shrimp scampi was really good, the pasta was seasoned perfectly and you could tell the chef sautéed the pasta w fresh garlic. Shrimp were huge and plentiful for a lunch serving. We ended w a bit of dessert and a latte (since they did have almond milk (gratefully) another substitution for regular milk). Our server apologized for not having a clean table available immediately and cleaned the table for us. We realize we're in a place where there is a convention this weekend and travelers are sitting throughout the room. Every employe greeted us from the entrance of the hotel all the way to the restaurant, we've always enjoyed frequenting our local Marriott.

The service is top notch at this Marriott hotel restaurant. It is clearly evident that Marriott trains their staff to offer the best customer service. Started dinner with waffle crab cakes, named because they use a waffle iron to prepare these crab-filled gems. Served w/a jicama/mango slaw, they (2) could easily be a meal if you ordered a salad to go with them. Had the shrimp scampi served w/6 jumbo prawns. My bff had a rice bowl, also w/ prawns and lots of veggies. Don't turn your nose down at hotel food, this place is good!

Bishop Grill is located inside the Marriott. You are required to pay for parking but because it was a very slow weekday night, we were able to park in front. The service was great. The menu was not too extensive but it was delicious with reasonable prices. Definitely going again!

Plus they have a great variety of cocktails and other drinks. My friends and I hang out here all the time, and in my opinion, it's a much better experience than Bridges if you're looking for a restaurant on a golf course. It's usually easy to get a table, the service is amazing, and there's plenty of seating available inside and out. The happy hour menu is one of the best around, and the outdoor bocce ball courts are a fun bonus that make it a great place to relax with family and friends. They have brunch, lunch, and dinner options. It's become one of my family's favorite places to eat, and I think it's seriously underrated. If more people knew about this place, it would be packed every day.

I apologized and left, assuming I had unknowingly broken a rule. I called today to check and was told that dogs are in fact allowed. I'm also unclear why simply walking through the parking lot warranted being approached and shooed away in the first place. So I'm left wondering why I was singled out and given incorrect information. Whatever the reason, the interaction felt unnecessarily unwelcoming and left a very poor impression. I wouldn't choose to patronize a place that makes some people feel as though they don't belong.

I love this theatre. Super cute and intimate…read more It's pretty pricy because you're paying for the convenience of being able to order your food or drinks from the bar or concession stand from your seat. They have recliner seats too which is super comfy. I usually buy my tickets ahead of time since they sell out pretty fast for popular movies and don't offer many show times so haven't had to buy there to know how service was! And we've only ordered food a couple of times, it was pretty decent service. Removed a star for cleanliness! The restrooms are decent but the theaters are often left with trash, and sticky stuff on seats or tray. It would be nice if they throughly cleaned the theater since people are eating food and having drinks while watching the movie.

Key Points: - reclining chairs…read more- Table/"chair" service - Great selection of food The Mrs. and I really enjoy coming to THE LOT City Center in San Ramon to watch movies. It's definitely a step up from the movie theaters we grew up with, where the experience was basically a rocking chair, popcorn, soda, a hot dog, and some candy. Here they have reclining seats, tray tables, and QR-code menus where you can order food and drinks right from your seat. They'll actually bring your order to you during the movie. The theater is clean, comfortable, and an overall cozy atmosphere. Food Variety is solid. We've had burgers, ahi poke nachos, carne asada tacos, calamari, and of course, the Mrs. And The Little One's favorite, buttered popcorn! The food is actually quite decent. Is it the best food we've ever had? No. But hey, we're eating in a movie theater! We recently brought The Little One here for her first-ever movie theater experience. She loved it, even though she's a bit sensitive to noise. I think the comfortable seats and overall atmosphere helped ease her into it. Is the food pricey? Yes. But honestly, that's not particularly surprising for a dine-in movie theater. You're paying for the convenience and the overall experience, not just the food itself. I also recently noticed that the place has a separate restaurant area, named ZENTRL Kitchen + Bar, which I haven't tried yet. It looks like it could be worth checking out on its own. They also serve breakfast until 2 p.m., including pancakes, chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and other brunch items. My next item on the bucket list is likely going to be a movie brunch. Just like Marshall, it can't just be for one. . Going to be dragging the Mrs. And The Little One along. I know there are other theaters these days offering reclining seats, dine-in service, and upgraded amenities, so THE LOT isn't necessarily unique. But compared with the theaters we've personally been to, I'd say this place does a particularly good job and stands out in our book. For now, it's one of our favorite places for a movie, especially when we want the movie itself to feel like a little outing rather than just a trip to the theater.

Love that there's another East Bay Tiki Bar option!…read more The good: food was fresh, came out super fast, and was tasty. The poke bowl was a bit bland, but not bad. The Mahi Mahi tacos were delicious. Surprised to see Hula Pie offered and it was great! Service was excellent, but it was a quiet time. The less good: I was happy to see a true '44 Mai Tai on the drink menu. But the drink was watery, not particularly limey, and I couldn't taste any rum nor orgeat. The Painkiller was good, but not great. The even-less good: the decor is much more Margaritaville than Tiki. It has a few nice accents, but is a far cry from an immersive bar like Tiki Tom's. (I'm also not used to a Tiki Bar flooded with natural light.) The soundtrack was just Top 40 pop with zero exotica. Overall: it's a good island restaurant that's Tiki-adjacent.

Even if they were closed but had greeted us with a friendly attitude I would try again another time but the workers seemed so unfriendly and unhappy, I don't think I'll be back. Weird vibe for such a fun looking venue.
