    Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recently visited for lunch and they have completely revamped the menu! It has a variety of options from salad, burgers, sandwiches, wings and brunch. Drink: 10/10 Gerry's Gin and Jam The gin mixed very well with the jam flavors! Very well balanced drink that hit the spot. Food: 9/10 The Big Cheese I'm not usually one to order tomato soup at restaurants, but this entree completely stole the show. You get a delicious perfectly grilled cheese sandwich with a side tomato soup for dipping. The grilled cheese had a great mixture of cheeses, and was very crispy. The tomato soup had great deep flavors! 100% will order again!! Dessert: 10/10 Hunter's Chocolate Chip Cookies If you get anything at Norm's, it has to be these chocolate chip cookies!! They come warm, slightly salted with gooey delicious chocolate in every bite. They are to die for and a MUST try when visiting, you won't regret it!

We always love establishments that support live music. We came for that and appreciated having food and ample seating. The food is typical bar food--nothing special but fine. The dance floor was small but that didn't stop us. We had a blast.

Love the new menu! Such a great place to hang out when I'm in Danville. Live music and excellent service - it's my go-to! Thanks, Norms. I appreciate all you're doing for the community!

    Espresso martini

Absolutely LOVED our brunch in downtown Danville, this spot was everything we were hoping for and more! The fries were perfection: hand-cut, crispy, golden, and served with a creamy dipping sauce that was downright addictive. We couldn't stop eating them! View was amazing, patio is an amazing experience! We also ordered a round of espresso martinis and they were chef's kiss!! smooth, bold, and topped with coffee beans for that classic finish. Hands down some of the best I've had! Our server, Hunter, was phenomenal, super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless and fun. If you're in Danville, this place is a must. Can't wait to come back!

FRIED MARY'S CHICKEN BREAST & BUTTERMILK BISCUIT SLIDERS: 6/10 The chicken lacked flavor and wasn't crispy at all, despite being "fried." The biscuit was also pretty plain, dense, and on the dry side. The cheese helped add some flavor, but the red pepper jelly was too liquidy, and we weren't fans of the garlic aioli since it tasted pretty sour. The best part was honestly the fries we got instead of the house-made chips. Parking was also a bit tough to find on a busy Saturday afternoon. Overall, I'm not sure I'd come back. COZY, NEIGHBORHOOD DINER/ SPORTS BAR…read more Good selection of local beers. The garlic fries are the star of the menu. The burger was just ok. Not great or bad, just ok. My biggest criteria for a good burger, is whether they use fresh or frozen beef. Here, I was left guessing and couldn't tell. But I guess that's a good sign, maybe it's fresh. All toppings are served on the side instead of piled on. Depending on who you are, you'll find that either considerate or annoying; I found it annoying.

I should have just stuck to their basic fries, which were nothing special but after having a bite of my friends, were much better than either of mine. Both sub fries were expensive for what they were and I'd give the curly fries about 2.5 stars - nowhere near how delicious Southside Station's are. The onion rings were terrible, breaded like a corn dog and so oily I could barely eat two. At about a 1.8 they were absolutely nothing I'd order again. All in all, Pete's Brass Rail & Car Wash is an inexpensive homegrown spot but I lean towards paying more for higher quality food and prefer Revel down the way.

The restaurant had a very relaxed atmosphere, and the overall vibe was great. Our waitress was super attentive, and all of the other staff members were friendly and welcoming. For food, I got the double smash burger, my girlfriend got the chicken pesto, and we shared the nachos as an appetizer. Everything was really good. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the chicken pesto, but that's just a matter of personal preference and definitely not a reflection of the food itself. The nachos were excellent, and we chose tri-tip as the protein, which was really good. The star of the show for me, though, was the burger. I've never had a smash burger with that much flavor. It was easily the best smash burger I've ever had, and I would 11/10 recommend it to anyone who comes here looking for a burger. My only complaint was the fries. They were a little overdone, with some being overly crunchy. They still had good flavor, but it seemed like they may have sat a little too long. Overall, I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill, laid-back spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

I got a reply confirming the reservation however there was no special celebration or anything for the birthday. We weren't even asked are we celebrating anything as is usually the case. But Nothing. Another thing was I mentioned one grandma is a vegetarian and they had almost no veg options. ( we need no added egg options and they also mentioned everything including veggies are fried in Beef Tallow) I do wish they would have taken the time to read our message as I booked the table at least 4 days in advance. We got drinks. Tried the prickly pear margarita cocktail, the pear no-garita mocktail, espresso martini, spiced pear old fashioned but sadly nothing was too delicious. For appetizers we got the cast iron shrimp which was Yummy with capers. And the olives were okay. We also got the roasted artichoke that was good. The kids meal was good too. For the main course we got a pizza it was nice and thin crust. We also tried the Oktoberfest bratwurst which was nice and flavorful. The burger was. Great too and the quesadilla. The best one was the spicy Diablo shrimp. Also Tiramisu was great and tasted very authentic. To end it we got the 20 year Tawny and that was perfect. Ambience was okay but noise was too loud for us. Service was good. Vegetarian options were very limited as they have egg in all their breads and pasta and pizza dough. Overall for the price range I was a little disappointed that they didn't care enough to celebrate my daughter's birthday or to go through our message. I think even the simple chain American restaurants do a better job at birthday celebrations. When you provide a spot to add messages and don't read them people feel ignored.
