    Delicious biscuit & gravy!
    Em H.

The biscuits and gravy at Biscuitville alone are worth a trip to the restaurant. This location is not far from the main thoroughfare, and it's a good place to stop for a quick breakfast.

Biscuitville is more than a fast food breakfast. Their options are different and their quality is a lot different! If you're traveling through this area it's a must try. Our Clemmons location has some excellent efficiencies and operators. We've never had a wrong order. With that said they're still very busy on the weekend mornings. The drive through is almost always backed up onto the side street and sometimes all the way back Lewisville Clemmons Rd. But, they move through it reasonably quick. It's consistently backed up because that many people want some Biscuitville. Don't fear a long drive through line...In this case it means the food is good. They keep it moving. It's very convenient to i40. Our go to is the hot honey chicken biscuit. A fried chicken with local honey and Texas Pete (despite the name that's a local sauce) on their awesome made from scratch biscuit. It's never wrong. It's always good. Sometimes I branch out. While I love their seasonal variety I'm yet to find anything worth the opportunity cost of missing a hot honey. Most recently I went in for a jalapeño pimento country fried steak. It was good, but too much pimento and just not as good as the chicken. Their fries are excellent, I love their gravy, and bonus points for so many local ingredients

Five Guys - A Five Guys cheeseburger, milkshake and regular order of fries sits on a table inside a Five Guys restaurant.

Recently, while having some service work done on my truck, I decided to grab lunch at a nearby Five…read moreGuys. My wife and I have been to some of their other locations over the years, and I've always admired their business model. They keep the menu simple, focus on quality, and add little touches that make people feel like they're getting more than they paid for--piles of fries and free peanuts while you wait. Potatoes and peanuts are inexpensive, yet they create a sense of abundance and generosity. Honestly, it's a brilliant strategy. But this visit gave me a very different perspective. I arrived just before noon on a Thursday. It wasn't busy, so ordering was easy. But the prices stopped me in my tracks. A little bacon cheeseburger alone cost more than $10. By the time I added a small fry and a regular drink, my total was over $20 after tax and tip. The tipping part is what really stuck with me. When the payment screen prompted me to leave 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20%, I couldn't help but wonder--what exactly am I tipping for? This wasn't table service. I ordered at the counter, filled my own drink, grabbed my own condiments, picked up my food when called, and would clear my own table. Yet, out of guilt, I still tipped. That little moment of hesitation left a bigger impression on me than the food itself. And the fries--once a fun "extra"--didn't feel like a perk this time. My "small" order was far more than I could eat, and I ended up throwing half of them away. What used to feel generous now just felt wasteful. I enjoyed the meal, but walking away, I realized I'd remember the cost, the tipping awkwardness, and the wasted fries more than the taste of the burger. It made me think: for the same $20, there are plenty of other places where I could sit down, be served, and leave with a better overall experience. In the end, I'll probably shy away from Five Guys and fast food in general. They still make a good burger, but the value equation just doesn't add up anymore.

We were both hungry and she said there is a Mexican place right here that gets really good reviews. I said, let's check it out. El Taquito sits on the roadside corner of a small strip mall which shares the parking lot with a larger restaurant and is right next to the auto repair shop. El Taquito is not very big. I think there are eight tables inside and we saw two tables outside. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the young man behind the counter. We looked at the menu board on the wall and everything looked great. My wife decided on the three sopas with asada. I chose the four taco plate with two pork tacos and two asada tacos, we also bought two bottled waters. The young man told us about the salsa bar as well which looked well stocked with a nice selection of salsas, radishes and pico. We had a seat at a table and the young man also brought us three bottles of sauce and explained there were two mild sauces and one hot. Shortly afterwards, he brought our meals. Everything looked fresh, delicious and yummy. My wife visited the salsa bar while I added some of the mild green sauce at the table to my tacos. We dug in and really enjoyed our meals. We would absolutely recommend to others and will be back!! Yum, Yum, Yum! The employees were both very nice and the prices were reasonable.

Four tacos total, two each Carnitas and Al Pastor. Both style true to type and very good with diced onions and cilantro with a wedge of lime. Good flavor and textures. A decent meal. There are several good taco places in town and this is one of the better ones. Good quality and a fair value. 4 Stars worth a visit and support 01208

Review for Yelp (Celiac & Gluten-Free Warning)…read more As someone with celiac disease, I take every precaution before dining out -- including calling ahead, researching, and confirming that restaurants understand and follow safe gluten-free protocols. Before visiting this location, I called and spoke with staff who assured me that they take gluten cross-contamination seriously and could safely accommodate celiac guests. Unfortunately, that turned out to be completely untrue. After eating here, I became extremely sick -- for several days. The reaction was so severe I thought I might need to go to the hospital. It was clear from the symptoms that I had been glutened. What makes this worse is that I had trusted their reassurance that they understood safe handling and preparation practices. From what I personally observed, cross-contamination was happening everywhere. Employees were hovering directly over food without washing hands or changing gloves. Utensils were being reused between gluten and gluten-free items, and surfaces didn't appear to be cleaned properly between orders. It was honestly a sanitation nightmare, especially for anyone with medical dietary restrictions. Even my kids -- who are not celiac -- were turned off by how unclean everything looked. It's one thing to make a mistake, but to claim that your establishment is safe for gluten-free diners when it's clearly not is misleading and potentially dangerous. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone who has celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or any kind of food sensitivity. This experience was frightening, disappointing, and completely avoidable if proper food safety practices had been followed. Please take this review as a serious warning -- this is not a gluten-free safe environment, and the lack of training and care could genuinely harm someone with a medical condition.

The restaurant is open and bright with tall windows along the front and sides. A very nice change from the cloned box chain restaurant buildings these days. They have a drive thru and dine in with lots of booths surrounding the perimeter of the inside and some tables in the center. They also have a small outdoor seating area. It's not covered though so it will be a seasonal option. The inside has a large counter that looks like it could be a bar area but it was empty and looked unfinished. We ordered at the counter where a friendly cashier helped us decide on what sauces to choose. Since it was our first time here we wanted to try a variety of items. I ordered three sliders and my husband got a tender combo. Our food came out really quickly and it was super hot. The fries were seasoned well too. No one likes unseasoned fries. One of the first things we noticed was how small the tenders were. I would have expected a larger tender for the price honestly. The flavor was delicious and we loved the different sauces they had. The spicy peach sauce was one of my favorites as well as the honey mustard. The pretzel bites we got as a side were ok. I'd probably skip them next time though. Overall we had a great experience at Ray Rays. I'd go there again for sure. Next time I'll have to try one of their sandwiches or bowls I think.
