Craving a biscuit in the morning? That was me recently. I had never been here, but decided to check this place out. The name is Biscuits and after looking at some of the Yelpers pictures, I had a strong craving for a biscuit. Well, I went in and was welcomed with a warm greeting from the manager who was seating those walking in. He directed me to the counter when I let him know I was doing a carry-out order. Erma and Amber were amazing in taking my order for a biscuit. Lovely smiles and wonderful service. I got my biscuit and ran to my car, took it out the bag, popped open the container and there it was. This beautiful golden brown, warm tender buscuit mmmm. I picked it up delicately. Then I took a gentle bite....OMG! This biscuit was amazing! Fresh, fluffy like a cloud and that buttermilk flavor left my taste buds satisfied. This was so good I went back a few days later with my sister to dine in. Another great experience. The staff wasn't as lively as my first visit, but they were still friendly. We ordered a stack of pancakes to share and I'm really glad we did. Three humongous pancakes came out and one each was more than enough for us. I also ordered a side of bacon and corned beef hash. Everything was delicious and cooked to order. I especially appreciated the 4 strips of bacon. Other places give 2 or 3 strips for the price of a whole pack of bacon lol. It was close to 9am when we arrived so there were a few other people dining in. The ambiance was quiet and there might have been music playing in the background. The interior gives a homey country feel and was spotless. I will be back for lunch soon.

The classic burger had a good patty, but lettuce, tomatoes and fries all could have used an upgrade. The lettuce was really nasty, wet and black. It was $15 for the lunch.

This server could not wait to rejoice about politics and her love for the latest tragic situation.

*Update* Seeing the review from "Nancy G" directed at me by name proves exactly what sort of establishment this is. I'm glad that Nancy mentioned a "safe place" as this is not one. If you want to sit and enjoy a meal and forget about the outside world this is not the place. Loli, I'm glad that your reply mentions welcoming everyone. Obviously, Nancy doesn't share the same sentiment. Nancy has left nothing but 1 star reviews for all her other reviews on yelp. I'm glad she took the time to give you a 5 star review just to call me lame. We won't be back. We came because our fav crackers & co down the road closed. Started off great. We were seated right away and our server was nice. Our experience was ruined by this server who couldn't wait to talk about politics & rejoice about the latest event that occurred (06/21/25). She stood there talking for a long time! No attempt to avoid the convo. I understand customers will talk about what they want but employees should take that outside. We don't want to hear it!! Experience completely ruined.

Good option if you're needing a quieter breakfast joint. Very family nostalgic vibes and the staff is warm and personable. I ordered the poblano omelette with hash browns - cooked perfectly. Always appreciate a place that knows how to make their hash browns. The kids fruit bowl was huge and we all were able to enjoy it.

This place is incredible! Old school country cooking! You can get eggs & pancakes or you can get meatloaf and mashed potatoes! They have it all. The place has been there for 50 years so that speaks for its self. Staff was extremely nice and friendly. The atmosphere felt like I was in the south with the decorations and southern hospitality. I was very impressed with the quality of the food everything was FRESH right from the farms. All the vegetables and other produce. The biscuits we're maybe the best I've ever had. Everything we ordered was well seasoned and the portions were nice southern portions. I will definitely be a regular customer here!

Found this place while driving around. We stopped for breakfast. The wait wasn't too bad considering it was a weekend. They have a nice waiting area with plenty of sitting space. The food was good and didn't take too long. I had some eggs Benedict and I asked for house potatoes instead of hashbrowns. Best decision of the day! Those potatoes are cooked perfectly and had some sort of peppers that just made them just like home.

With several locations in Phoenix, this one was closest so we made our way and didn't have any trouble parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (5/5): I loved the vibe. Think of it as a pub with a lot of character. There's wallpaper on the walls which you don't expect at an English pub. But it works. There's seating at the bar, high tops, and tables/booths. They also have two pool tables. Cool decor abounds, including some cool pictures a flag of the area in England where pasties were invented. Service (4.5/5): While they weren't packed while we were there, there were a good number of people hanging out. Our waiter did a good job of taking care of us. He checked in with us regularly and closed us out efficiently when we were ready to make a move. He also repeated our orders to make sure they were right, which is always a nice touch. Drinks (4.5/5): While they have a full bar, when I'm at a pub, I'm thinking about beer. They have a good beer list consisting of both European beers and craft brews. I went with a Bavik pils. Their beers are reasonably priced too, which is always a big plus in my book. Given that they're a pub, I wish they had a larger menu, but outside of that, exactly what I was looking for. Food (4.5/5): If you're like me, you probably have never had a pasty. Or heard of them. If that's the case, you're in for a treat. Think of pasties as essentially British empanadas. They were invented in England and the menu gives you a nice history of how they came about. Most of the menu consists of these delectable pies. You have 30 or so of them to choose from (including vegetarian options). Outside of that, you have some appetizers and desserts for the most part. I went with the meat and cheese pasty which has sausage, beef, and cheese and is served with your choice of one of three dipping sauces. I went with the red wine gravy which was the perfect compliment to the pasty. The pasties were baked just right, flavorful, and a unique experience. They're a little pricey for the portion size, but still pretty filling. If you're feeling more adventurous, they have non-traditional pasties too like the Cubano, Tikka Masala, etc. They even have a dessert pasty with apples and cinnamon which is served a la mode with ice cream. I preferred the savory option as the pasty was a tad overcooked. But overall, an awesome meal. Cornish Pasty, I'll definitely be back. Stay pasty, my friends.

Walked in to a nearly empty restaurant -- just one other customer -- and wasn't greeted. The AC was off with only a few floor fans running, making the space feel suffocating. After waiting 30 minutes for my spring rolls (in an almost empty restaurant), they arrived with no peanut sauce and zero apology from the staff. By this point I was flushed, short of breath, and feeling faint from the heat and poor air circulation. I politely let the male server know I was overheating and felt like I might faint. His response? He told me the AC was on and to "drink more water" -- in a rude, dismissive tone -- then walked away to greet a new customer. I packed up my spring rolls to go and paid without a word. He didn't seem surprised. It felt like this was a pattern he was used to. After leaving I checked other reviews -- long wait times, poor atmosphere, and rude staff are recurring themes. I'm adding my experience to save others the trip. Don't waste your time or money here.

There is even a lunch special menu Mon-Fri 11-2:30pm and has a good selection of bento boxes! I've gotten their beef teriyaki bento box and it came with rice, salad, 2 piece California rolls, and 2 pc fried gyozas. Pricing is $13-20 The beef teriyaki is pretty tender, flavorful, and not too salty. The salad is underwhelming and didn't have fresh greens. The fried gyozas were decent, nothing special. The California rolls were ok, not bad. I would say it's 7/10. The bibimbap was very fresh and delicious but a little pricey ($18.95). The bulgogi was marinated very well and rice was super crispy inside the hot stone bowl. Seafood tofu soup was pretty good and not too overly salty. It was very flavorful and the tofu was very soft.
