Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience today. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated pretty quickly for being a Sunday morning. We got our drinks and they had taken our order like (normal) the part that really took a turn on our Sunday morning. Was getting our food we waited a hour without exaggeration. About 30 minutes into the wait the server said that they had a couple big party's order before us and that's why we didn't get our food. The thing is the table next to us sat down way later then us, ordered later then us, and yet some how they got their food before us! We didn't order nothing crazy and the party size was the same. We were there on a Saturday morning around 9:15 and the place was hopping! The service was great and fast. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious. At first I wasn't impressed. The hostess sat me in the middle of the room and to justify what she did as we walked by tables she pointed out better tables that were dirty. Biscuits Cafe is an amazing restaurant with friendly staff and speedy service. We ordered breakfast steak, the meat lovers scramble, French toast, and a breakfast burrito. All of which were delicious. The French French toast stood out. It was cooked with a perfect crisp and served with warm syrup. They are taking Covid seriously and have many precautions to ensure the safety of their costumers. They are operating at 25% capacity, sanitize tables regularly, wear protective masks, and and have specific doors for entry and exit. I will be back again soon! Definitely a new favorite. read more

I've been here in person and the food is great when it comes out, that Nashville hot chicken sandwich is one of my favs. But ordering through doordash, maybe 3 out of the 5 times somethings wrong or missing. no threats to "never come back" but it's just aggravating the more this happens. I went to Biscuits for the first time on Mon. August 29th. I ordered bacon, 2 eggs over medium, hashed browns and a biscuit. The biscuit was cold, the eggs over hard, the hashed browns so overcooked on one side, I couldn't cut them with a fork. Lastly, the bacon was so overcooked, it was crumbly and tasted like deep-fried bacon fat. Additionally, my shoe was sticking to the floor and I looked down to see a large puddle of syrup under the table. I'm sure they serve excellent food...too bad it wasn't to me. I mentioned to the cashier how over cooked my breakfast was and she basically just shrugged her shoulders. COVID BEWARE: This business does not honor the state mandated requirements for masks. If you care about spreading the Delta variant I don't recommend this restaurant. They let entire unmasked families enter and exit without masks. Obviously if these guests don't wear masks entering a busy restaurant they don't wear masks anywhere else and are the spreaders of COVID-19. WOWWOWOWOWOW..this is a chain but it's like a sterling chain not some cheap costume jewelry kind of chain.. We just wanted some no nonsense breakfast after being in the city for a little too long. There seems to always be a wait (at least in the morning.) Food portions are great and prices are good. Their menu isnt huge but they have a bit of everything. When I lived in Beaverton, Biscuits was my "go to" place, so when I moved to Gresham I was pleased to discover a Biscuits here as well. I stop in about once a month, when I'm shopping or just need a change from my own cooking. I'm mostly an eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffle sorta guy, so I can go just about anywhere. I choose Biscuits, Gresham, because of the personality of the place. The food is great, the staff is friendly and efficient, and Ally lights up the place with her smile, while masked yet! Wonderful girl. When she's around I forget to eat. She'll come over even when she isn't my server. In fact, I think I'm due to return. read more

The first time I went here I wasn't impressed. I got a strawberry waffle and hated it. It was more cakey than a crispy waffle you would expect, and the strawberries were your typical thawed out gross frozen strawberries. It has redeemed itself since then and you could say I'm a regular. Me and my friends were going here every weekend for breakfast up until I just moved. Joes Scramble is a MUST (add mushrooms if you like them!), but they also have amazing French toast. The biscuits are really good too and I love their jam. The girls are all pretty friendly and you see them all on the weekends consistently. It is clean and has a cosey feel. I will miss this place and will for sure go whenever I visit Oregon! read more

People who got there after us were eating but we were still waiting. When our food finally arrived it was cold and flavorless. The gravy in particular needed A LOT of salt to make it edible. The hash browns were cold and tasted like paste. The waitress never checked on us once to ask if the food was good. Me and a friend came in a couple weeks ago, and we had a super sweet server. later in the night a worker named jace direct messaged both me and my friend on instagram asking to hang out. We never made contact with this man, nor was there a chance that our full names would be mentioned. Somehow this man found our instagrams and harassed us over instagram dms. He told us that he saw us at biscuits earlier and that he wants to get to know us. While retelling this story to a friend, the friend goes "Was it Jace?" and we said yes. I see Biscuits Cafe every time I drive down Division, I decided to try them. I am glad that I did. I wanted grits unfortunately they didn't have them, that is why I am giving them only 4 stars. I walked in and the staff was very friendly and allowed me to sit where I wanted. The floor plan is very open. The menu looked very good and I decided to try the chicken fried chicken with over easy eggs. I decided I didn't want the potatoes so they let me substitute cottage cheese. I got the biscuits since that is the name of the cafe and figured they must do them well. The food came out very quickly. It looked delicious. The portions were a little on the large side which was good value for the money. I tried the sausage gravy by itself and it was good, however it needed pepper. The chicken was fried to a nice golden brown and it was juicy. The eggs were cooked correctly and the biscuits were very good. The wait staff was attentive and kept my water glass filled. I never had to ask for a fill up. They checked with me every time they filled my water glass to see how things were. Based on this experience I will give them another try and hopefully it is just as good the second time around. read more

Not impressed. I took my daughter here yesterday and the food was decent and came out hot, which is why I gave it 2 stars. The service however, was lacking. It took at least 30 minutes to get our meal, and that's being generous. One of the server's family members came in and their food arrived within ten minutes of ordering. Come to find out, our server was actually the manager. I'm pretty sure she forgot to put our order in. The least she could have done was apologize and maybe comped a meal or given a discount.
