I've driven by this place for the last few years. Finally decided to try out this local spot. When you walk in, it looks like a Chinese restaurant. Just in the adjoining room is the bar. There was only one other table taken and then folks started trickling in. They seem to do a good number of take-out as well. They have a wide range of offerings on their menu. Chinese food, burgers, fish and chips, and breakfast. I opted for the Taco Salad. I like the tortilla chips it cams with. It was such a good-sized salad that I had to bring the rest home. There's so much to try so I will have to come back.

Good American Chinese diner food! Generous portions, booths for comfort, came in on a Saturday- food came out pretty quickly, service was good, we'll be back!

Just your average Chinese (dump) as my mother would say. Fast efficient service. Food was as average as it can be. The hot and sour soup was totally the best.Coupled with the Chinese menu are lots of different burgers as well as a breakfast menu! We might come back and give breakfast a shot. I think this place is open 24 hrs. Long drive from Portland, but the sun was out and I had a full tank of gas.

We went to Sandy to visit friends, on our way home decided to get Chinese here. So happy indoor dining is available now and want to help small business. We were not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. Every one was wearing mask and gloves and were cleaning after each table. They all were covid aware. Our food came quick and hot, it was sooooo good!!! Will definitely be back!

Hot and sour soup vs egg flower soup. Which is better? Egg flower wins this time!

Classic Chinese food! Delicious egg flower, fair prices for lunch specials. Good for to go orders and work lunches. Wifi was free, no password.

This time, we decided to go in--and we're really glad we did. The food was excellent, and the service stood out even more. The person running the restaurant was incredibly friendly, fun to talk to, and genuinely helpful. Honestly, the service alone would bring us back. The menu has everything you'd want from a Chinese restaurant--lots of variety and plenty of options. We decided to try the combination plates (which are listed toward the back of the menu), and that was the right call for us since we like to share family-style without ordering oversized portions. My wife ordered the combo with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and teriyaki chicken. I went with Szechuan beef, General Tso's chicken, and fried rice. We also added a large order of egg rolls, which were clearly made fresh in-house. Everything tasted great, and the portions were generous--even the combination plates were more than enough. Overall, we had a really good experience and will definitely be coming back.

The decor is virtually unchanged from the previous tenant, giving us that remember them a feeling that it's haunted by the ghost of Sunny Han's. The staff was friendly and we received prompt service. We got broccoli beef, orange chicken, and chicken low mein. Compared to other Chinese-style restaurants, the food was good but not amazing, and was pretty reasonably priced. I likely wouldn't go out of my way to go here but I wouldn't kick them out of bed either.

They have a small and cozy dining hall that was full. I had all ready had an idea of what I would order but quickly looked at the menu just in case I wanted to take additional item home. I ordered papaya salad, pad see ew, and tom ka soup. I also got a thai tea to go. I might have waited 15-20 minutes for my order. There were also several call in orders that people came in to pick up. I am surprised at the speed they produced the food. The bench seat had a small view of the kitchen. I believe this is a very efficient full fledged family restaurant. Everyone was friendly and nice. The way they packaged the food was thoughtful. I had a 20 minute drive back home. It stayed warm /hot and no leakage even with the soup. Now the food: Papaya salad was delicious. Great flavor. My only issue is it was marked on the menu as spicy. *Morgan Freeman voice* -it was not in fact spicy. It was completely spice free. I know that SE asians are sweet to profile us pale people as no heat, but I was really looking forward to spice.... So for next time I will request heat added as I am a non-practicing alabaster person. To be fair, every fair complexion person with a togo order clarified that their food was "non spicy." I can't call them out for playing it safe. Yes queens. Pad see ew: shrimp was my protein. It was delicious. Regular broccoli was used. Chinese broc might be out of season. I don't care. It was great. Will eat again FR. Tom ka soup: the gem of this story. They made it without onions, be praised, as I have a horrible allergy and most of my one star food reviews are about food safety in relationship to ignoring food allergies. This was fresh, flavorful, bright. Great protein to both ratio. Probably one of the best versions I have ever had. Will be ordering again. Probably regularly. Thai tea: was great. Ice, tea, milk ratio good. I like less ice in my drinks... she somehow knew this. Now I know if I want Thai I have a place to call Thai Home (see what I did there), that I won't have to drive twice the distance to Portland to get fantastic Thai food. Honestly, I think this is way better than most of the thai restaurants in the greater portland area. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and subsequent left overs! 10/10.

The kids absolutely love it. I drive by it five days a week and it always puts a smile on my face. They just have the most amazing building with the most amazing lights and everything looks clean and chestnut broken so that alone if you want to come here with some kids at night? They're gonna have a smile on their face. We'll just start there. Food is good. They have the standard fair. You know a mix of Americanized and more traditional Chinese items now I'm guilty of liking Americanized Chinese food more than traditional Chinese food, which is quite the opposite of my normal taste in ethnic markets. So mostly, I will say I have ordered the sugary based chickens and standard fair that you might get at a lesser authentic establishment. Also, I will say that I'm always a sucker for the combo meals and the family meals because you get so much variety and it just feels more fun than getting a single item I really think this is where this place shines like many other Chinese restaurants is having the cool mixes of lunch and dinner combos everything's always fresh. Everything's always hot. Sometimes service can be a little slow so definitely call it in ahead of time but you get good quality and it's been here as long as I can remember, and I couldn't imagine what they could put in this building if it were, you not be there. Come grab a lunch combo and give it a try. Or if you got the kiddos come in and get a family meal get a bunch of combos and just see the light show.

After our last visit, I fear things have changed. The place still looks the same; clean and orderly but no art, no shrines, no decor whatsoever. Only the sight of busy cooks banging sizzling woks in the open kitchen and the smells of the dishes give the cuisine away. As we entered, everything looked as it always has. We were a bit surprised at the emptiness of the dining area. Early evenings are normally bustling with dine-in customers, and the phone constantly ringing for take-out. Besides us, there was only one other table occupied. The menu looked the same, but when we ordered some old time family favorites, they each were disappointing. Celery dominated the veggie dish, (Buddhist Delight) with no detectable asian spices and scant traces of the other veggies promised. The cashew chicken was more skin than meat, and minimal cashews. I don't know for certain, but I suspect the place has changed ownership, or management or both. If that's the case, it's a shame because the place really was a neighborhood gem for many years. We will likely give it another shot, but with so many fantastic Asian restaurants on the SE side, we won't be back for a spell.
